While I have CVS Pharmacy locations closer to where I live, I drive by this particular location every so often on the way home from work. Every now and then, I will stop by here out of convenience on the way to or from work. I have interacted with the staff, purchased random items, and browsed the shelves over the years. I do appreciate the MinuteClinic at this store and have used it a few times in the past. Tonight, I stopped by to use a coupon, and while I found plenty of an item, the price on the shelf was incorrect as there was also a promotion going on, but as I have noticed previously, the shelves have been missing the promotion price on them. The store is sometimes a bit messy and sometimes very clean. It really depends on the day I stop by. There are seasonal items a few rows in from the entrance though sometimes they extend further to the left side of the store (further away from the entrance). While staffing seems to be quite minimal at this store (or so it seems), the staff have been helpful when I have asked for assistance. If there is someone near the front of the store, they have often said hello when I have entered the store. Sometimes they are stocking items on the aisles until someone is ready to check out. Sometimes there is a wait for someone to come and assist at checkout if you aren't using the self-checkout machines. The staff have always been knowledgeable based on items in stock. I have had issues using some of the coupons before, but it really depends on the cashier. I encourage everyone to sign up for ExtraCare, which is a free membership and includes sales prices, deals for you, 2% back in ExtraBucks rewards, a $3 birthday reward, and up to $50 in ExtraBucks rewards at the pharmacy. Also, while the Black Friday CVS deals were incredible a number of years ago, now you can only get good deals but not incredible deals with free items. While I'm a huge fan of CVS in general and the ExtraCare+ program, the stores are hit or miss. I will gladly still come back to this store as need be in the future as I hope that CVS provides the store with more resources to get more staff members. read more

If you're thinking of heading to this CVS late at night--don't. Google says this location closes at 12am, but the store actually shuts down at 10. Glad Yelp has it right because they wouldn't correct it regardless. Misinformation aside, the service here is consistently abysmal. Walgreens had a sign up that they had closed at 7pm due to unforeseen circumstances. So I accepted my fate and tried to make it quick and painless. I guess my hopes were too high. Tonight, I had the misfortune of experiencing the impotent manager KADY proudly display her lack of problem solving skills, critical thinking and emotional intelligence, all of which are required for effective leadership. I don't expect a red carpet to be rolled out at CVS. But how about some basic professionalism? I'll even settle for the bare bones minimum. Instead, the consistent experience at CVS is disdain, laziness, and passive-aggressive manipulation from employees who clearly hate their jobs and want customers to know it. CVS: If you're listening, please stop putting people in leadership roles who lack the patience, competence, or emotional maturity to handle customers. You may be a giant corporation, but every single bad experience diminishes your already struggling reputation. People always remember how they're treated. And I, for one, am over paying premium prices just to be disrespected by discount employees who act like they're doing me a favor by showing up for work. Please do better. read more

I have had someone mark my refill as picked up when I had only refilled it, causing me to have to wait a week to pick it up. I have been told to give them a week notice to get a prescription ready despite it being a controlled substance and I cannot request a refill a week early so I have to go a week without medication. I have had several pharmacists who are unprofessional, rude, and don't really care about the "patients" who need these medications. Honestly I have switched back to Walgreens and just using GoodRx instead of dealing with the utter incompetence of this place. I hate to say it because I normally don't comment on this type of stuff, but I used the restroom at this pharmacy last week and it looked like it had never been cleaned before. The bathroom was so dirty, the toilets were covered in bodily fluids, and the ground looked like it had never been mopped. Changing drug stores is like wearing a new pair of shoes, uncomfortable at first, but you need to stick with it till it feels better. I found their pharmacy full of helpful, cheery employees. Their Halloween candy and goods were all 50% off after the season, too. I'm not much of a fan of the layout, yet, because it's all foreign to me ( like new shoes ). Toothpaste seems to be on an end cap, whereas the rest of the health goods are in aisles- this makes some sense but confused me at first, as I walked and loops trying to find these basic goods. There's an abundance of signs overhead guiding you through the different options in aisles, but none of them say toothpaste. Other than the pharmacy, I couldn't find anyone who worked here on (a weekday evening). Even the checkouts are fully automated/ self service. The store has a huge parking lot that is shared with Safeway which makes parking very easy. The good experience at the pharmacy ensures that I'll be back, but only because my prescription insurance requires it - I still like the hominess of my Walgreens better, and it's a place I am used to. read more

ABSOULTY HORRIBLE ! I am self pay and my generic statin that should be not more than $22. CVS tried to change me $270! It was shocking my doctor looked up the price on her drug price database and the highest would be was $22 . I tried using a good rx which they refused.I was completely shocked and then they called somebody and told me I could only get HALF my script for $25. I called today to get my prescription transferred to Costco and they refused! It is my script and they refused to transfer it. They told me Costco would have to call them but the Costco pharmacist told me CVS takes months to transfer. The new CVS pharmacist women is just rude and hates her job. CVS IS BLATANTLY RIPPING PEOPLE OFF! MY doctor is now going to warn her clients about this as well. read more

The cashiers talk too much. Say I. Line waiting with o e item for 10 minutes while they were chatting up customers with issues they didn't need addressed when their job is to ring people up and keep it moving. I always avoid this particular CVS because they are ALWAYS slow (no offense) elderly cashiers who need to be taught or trained that this isn't social hour. Avoid this store unless you're lonely and need someone to talk to. I ended up walking out to go across the street because this was ridiculous that they didn't even acknowledge me. read more

This review is for the minute clinic only. I went to get my 2 and 4 year old vaccinated and we were 10 min late for our appointment at 11:10. There was one person checking in before me and no one else in the entire clinic. I was told the appointment was cancelled because we were late and that she would see when the next available appointment was and the next one was 4 hours later. I could see if they were full of people waiting but there was ONE person. I'm sorry but it is hard enough convincing my toddlers that they were going to have a shot I feel like they could have been a little more accommodating. Worst. Service. Ever. We were running around all over town trying to get my daughter seen for a really bad ear infection. Her prescription was sent to Walgreens, which doesn't take her insurance, so we had to go to CVS instead. I got there 10 minutes before they closed and the pharmacist refused to help me. She said it would take her 15 minutes to fill the prescription and they were closing in 10 minutes so she wouldn't start it. Walgreens managed to fill it in less than five minutes. What kind of "doctor" is so concerned with closing up that they won't spend an extra five minutes to help a child in pain? She was completely unapologetic and offered no other solution. read more

What is going on wit CVS?? Had a RX and the Pharmacy was closed with no notice. Not sure when it would open. People were walking in trying toget the prescriptions. I had a rx that I needed which my Dr faxed in on Friday. Didn't get it till Tuesday. It was for a location that was a distance for me. Also one location can't get a RX from one cvs to another. Until the receiving location can release it. Next year I will make sure that CVS is not my preferred provider. This is happening at several of CVS locations..claim no help. The staff is nice but when you need a RX it isn't because you are healthy!!! read more

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars, I would. Read my other reviews - I am generous with praise - hundreds of times on many different types of businesses. That's how bad this pharmacy is. They don't refill prescriptions when requested. They DO refill prescriptions when NOT requested. They do NOT ask your insurance company for an early refill due to vacation - even when requested TWICE to do so. Even though they say they will. Then, try calling them. Three rings and a busy signal - seven times over two days. The coup de grace? In addition to the pharmacy staff being incompetent, they are rude. If they screw something up, and they will, they will tell you it's your fault. I have never said this in a review until now - do not use this pharmacy. The front desk clerk at the hotel suggested I drive down to this CVS instead of paying the high prices at the hotel gift shop. I'm glad he made the recommendation. I'm thankful for the auto-fill on my Rx and the reminder phone call when it's ready. This location is relatively clean and I like the proximity to Safeway-- that way I like to do my drug-pick-up and grocery shopping all in one stop. Make sure to get a membership card. I regularly get coupon perks via email. Most recently I was able to stock up on nail polish on sale due to discontinuation (some at 75% off!!) and also stack the $4 off $20 coupon. Also, make sure to grab a ad insert at the front of the store to identify the promo events. When there's a sale, there's a sale! read more

The pharmacy at this CVS is the most unorganized pharmacy I have been too & they are never stocked well and always have to order some of the meds. The staff is friendly though. I also think this CVS could use an update. It looks a little rundown and it always smells a bit like Urin. read more

The pharmacy manager needs to be trained on pharmacy and insurance policies. Our Dr wrote an RX for 30 day supply but they only had a 15 day supply in stock. Robert told us that they could try and order the 2nd 15 days but that it would be a separate copay for each pickup. He was treating the 2nd half of the full written RX as a refill. If this was done we would have been charged 2-$100 copays and our ins would have been billed twice. We called and confirmed with our insurance and pharmacy benefits that this was not the case and it should have been a partial fill with 1 copay. This really should be pharmacy 101 and he was adamant that it was to be done as two fills. Seems to me a little like ins fraud.... Being the pharmacy manager he should know this or at least have offered to contact the provider or ins company to understand it. Once I got Confirmation from our insurance company that it should be done as a partial fill we contacted CVS and spoke with a different pharmacist, Josh, and he was very accommodating and did the right thing to get us the remainder of our prescription under the original co-pay. read more

It just seems to be that I need to have a flu. As my luck would have it, my doctor only had the pediatric one available and suggested I try to find a clinic that would have it. I checked various drug stores and pharmacies only to find that they only gave them out on certain days. Even then, I found one that was offering it that same day but by appointment. I call to ask for an appointment and was told I have to also have a prescription from my doctor. For a flu shot? What? Okay crazy. Buh-bye! One of my coworkers found this Minute Clinic so I thought I'd give it a shot. HAHAHAHAHAHHA Yeah, okay that was bad. Anyway. I get there and find a computer-based sign in procedure that was very easy to follow and simple to complete. Way to go for a good user interface! i was then 7th in line. The sign in area clearly told me what I would have to do and that the wait could be as long as 15 minutes per person because they also take sick patients and not just those needing immunizations. Everyone that was ln line seemed to have left so I was in within 10 minutes. I gave my insurance information to her and had my shot and was out in 5 minutes because everything was so easily completed in my sign-in procedure beforehand. All my questions were answered beforehand and the woman administering the immunization was very nice and helpful. Later that evening I noticed I hadn't received anything with proof that I got the immunization on that date; just the I Got My Flu Shot Today sticker. I called the 800 number for the Minute Clinic (you cannot call a store directly) and asked them. They were super kind and immediately faxed me the paperwork I needed. Great service from the time I first approached the Minute Clinic area to the phone call with them the next day. I highly suggest it! read more

Let's face it. CVS SUCKS! No one answers the phone - EVER! The staff are from the bottom of the barrel. And, the lines are atrocious. I have horror story after horror story, of not just this CVS; but EVERY SINGLE ONE. In fact, Walgreen's sucks WORSE than CVS. The pharmacist Robert is pretty awesome at this location, if you're lucky enough to catch him working. But, during this current "administration"; people's lack of motivation to work, the overstretched medical services, there's no where else to go. I have always had allergies, they come on around March and don't leave until about June. This year they got so bad I got a sinus infection because of them. I called my pcp and she couldn't fit me in for 7 days.. I was in pain and didn't want to wait to get in to the doctor, so I sought out the Minute Clinic. My experience was superb. I didn't have to make an appointment and I was in to see the nurse in about 35 minutes. She diagnosed my symptoms, wrote me a prescription and I was on my way in under an hour. She also suggested non prescription remedies (nasal flushes, saline rinses ect.) which I always appreciate. She was able to email my prescription to the CVS by my work, so by the time I stopped in to the drive through they were ready. I was so impressed by the speed and level of care I received I can't imagine waiting around to get in to see my pcp.. I am now a huge fan of the Minute Clinic and will always go there first for minor illnesses. read more

A MinuteClinic Review: I had an incredibly positive experience with Alexandria Eichhorn, NP. She was friendly, quick to greet us, and gave estimated wait times, in case patients missed them on the large screen that showed who was waiting, in order of appointment. In my time as both a member of the healthcare community and as a patient, I have learned to expect the worse. However, Alexandria was receptive to my description of symptoms, asked pertinent questions, and all the while was kind, unassuming, and nonjudgmental. She also made sure to do a quick overall assessment (vitals signs, listening to my heart and lungs), which I think is necessary no matter what the reason is that a patient seeks medical care. When she discerned that my symptoms were not The Worst in terms of contagion, she even let my boyfriend cancel his appointment (he had taken the slot immediately after mine) in order to spare us the medical bill. My encounter with her was so pleasant that I actually wish I was from the area, so I could entrust her with more of my healthcare needs. The waiting area is a few chairs, right near the medical supplies, which I was very surprised to see was well-stocked with walkers, scooters, modification devices and even healthcare items like stethescopes and clamps. read more

Best thing about this place?! 24 HOUR PHARMACY, BABY!!! That means, day, or night you can get the hook-up on your doctor prescribed meds. Also, the store, while it is an older store, has a lot of stuff you can look at and buy while waiting for said meds. Also, one pharmacist in particular is AMAZING and went out of her way to assist me (will post name when I can find it - definitely deserves props)..... Not so great thing? Pharmacy -- No drive through service for drop off or pick up. :( They are ALWAYS busy so be expected to wait 30++ and probably deal with some one frazzled (hit or miss, like most places). The store is a little older, but they have a great alcohol selection and nice staff (that makes almost all the difference....) Not many pharmacies and stores around here are 24 hours, so that is why they get a 4/5! read more

Pharmacists & techs are rude. Had to have my Rx faxed over TWICE. And instead of being nice, they were rude & short & spoke about us. There is a pane of glass separating us, trust me, we can see you. Very disappointed in this location. Would not recommend ever coming here again. I am definitely thinking about calling corporate to file a complaint in the morning. I needed to purchase a knee walker/scooter. Anthony was so kind to assemble the scooter and bring it to my vehicle. He also went over some of the scooters features and showed me how to fold it up.
