It was my first time going to the drive-thru pharmacy here at CVS. Sometimes my prescription isn't ready when I arrive to pick it up. This location impressed me! I had just left the sinus and allergy clinic and was prescribed some medication. Doctor sent the order electronically to this pharmacy and once I pulled up to the window, the employee assisted me in under 3 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised that the prescription had already been filled. It was bagged up and sitting in a basket waiting for me. I gave the employee my full name and DOB and she pulled up my info. I was back on the road in under 5 minutes total. The best part was my $.90 co-pay, lol!! I highly recommend this pharmacy if you're looking to get in and out quick. I have been to this CVS numerous times before, but never noticed the drive-thru pharmacy. I'm so glad it's there! It is super convenient and I'll be picking up future prescriptions from here, too. read more

The worst. Went to minute clinic called first but arrived for my appointment and the PA said her shift ended an hour ago and no one else showed up? Reshdualed for next day and when I had a question on the medication it took over 3 hours to get a return call from leaving a message because u cannot speak directly to a pharmacist!! What is that bs. Not for me, never will go back I use Desert Sky Pharmacy 67th Ave and Thunderbird. Privately owned and the pharmacist Ty always answers the phone or takes direct texts! Whatever meds they perscribed for 10days didn't work and my real PCP said it has to be taken for at least 30 days? They perscribed 10 pills? Is this some new math? They are the worst. Go anywhere else not that a CVS. Thats the only way these companies will learn people are more valuable than extreme profits read more

I love coming here the staff is so nice. I do some couponing here and it's really easy to do, never had a problem and when I do the staff helps me fix the problem or tell me where I went wrong. Store is always so clean and organized. My second visit required me to have the pharmacist come over to answer my questions. First time at this CVS; pharmacy seems fine but the store is not well stocked and an employee with a name tag Sandra H. has to be the rudest employee I've ever encountered. She did not make eye contact when I asked a question and seemed annoyed when she had to come to the register for an age restricted item; very disappointing service. I'm so shocked I cannot even believe that someone in the field of caring for others would be so incredibly mean and spiteful to a patient. probably should have made sure the phone is all the way hung up before you discuss making sure the customer who called to say they would be arriving right at close 7:59/8:00 and after telling them you close at 8 and the customer said ok I'll really hurry for 7:59 so I can make it into the drive thru you told the others you want to make sure drive thru is locked up before so they can't get their prescriptions. Just to be mean and spiteful. I hope that the next time that you need 60 seconds and you are there waiting for it that you get what's coming to you. I especially hope that the driving gods frown upon you on your way home tonight. I stopped by like twice in the past couple days and each time the store is closed for some reason.

Worst store experience ever.. older lady kept following me around the store as soon as I walk in. I ignore it. I proceed to buy a bottle of wine, she then asks for my bday, which is odd already but I tell her anyway. Then picks up the ID I laid on the counter and questions my name, and says "if that's really your name" and I'm like, "it sure is" but still checks out the bottle of wine for me? I'm almost 30 lol it was just a really rude and awkward experience that could've been handled a lot more professionally. I just moved here and had never experienced such odd behavior. read more

Got my booster at this location today. And, definitely experienced the staff shortage currently taking place. But, it is NOT their fault, so I was glad to see the long waiting line being patient. However, even with staff shortages, I wasn't impressed with the techs working the front. Besides the fill-in nurse who was doing her best to help them out even though she was technically only supposed to be administering vaccines- major props to her! The two other ladies were busy, but blatantly ignored me while I stood at the drop off/vaccine counter for over 15 minutes. The drop off counter was closed off & cluttered. It looks like an impromptu junk storage area. Very off-putting. So, I finally went & stood in line for someone to acknowledge I showed up for my appointment after making sure to check in online as instructed (even though I shouldn't have had to stand in line as I wasn't picking up a script). When I got to the counter the tech somewhat "scolded" me & told me to go wait at the opposite end, where I was already standing & waiting, not acknowledged. It was a bit irritating I showed up 15 minutes early as directed & was the ONLY person waiting for a vaccine, yet I didn't get helped for about 30 minutes until the employees who ignored me standing there decided to inform the nurse after I had to spell it out I have an appointment & have BEEN waiting at the CORRECT area. Being busy because of shortages is one thing, but blatantly ignoring customers & then being short tempered when "helping" was enough to make me question if I really wanted to be helped here at all. Luckily, the nurse was SO much more kind & helpful than the other employees. Her job was only to be administering vaccines but she was kindly helping the staff between appointments- and she was doing a fantastic job keeping up with both! Loved her personality- though she ended up "venting" to me about the frustrations there, I really did appreciate her chatty charm! Very insightful on any questions I had, put my mind at ease & offered sound advice. She even gave me a $5 coupon to use on any purchase in store while I waited my 15 minutes for observation! The vaccine was extremely quick & would have been 20 minutes total (including the 15 min observation) had my appointment been on time. She really had the magic touch & I didn't feel a thing! And, also went out of her way to check in on me, getting my card stamped & on my way safely. If it weren't for her, I probably would have left & made an appointment elsewhere. This isn't a store I'd want to come back to after the experience w/ the regular pharmacy staff. I do feel for them, being stressed & understaffed- but that still isn't valid reason to be callous towards customers. read more

Stopped in to grab some water and made a quick stop to the bathroom. The men's bathroom is the most disgusting bathroom I've seen in years. I ended up going to the ladies room to pee. Absolutely atrocious customer service. Unwilling to contact the store manager on a customer's behalf. Unwilling to contact corporate on a customer's behalf. The staff very clearly do not want to be helpful at all. I asked the same question several times and got the same scripted answer from the "manager". Although the answer did not have to do with my question and the "manager" mentioned several times they are just doing what their "manager" said.. so it was extremely unclear who the manager actually is.. All in all, DO NOT GET YOUR PACKAGES DELIVERED HERE!!! They will not release them to you and will not make accommodations to get you the package, regardless of willingness to show an ID. Again, atrocious customer service. Will never make this mistake again and I hope you don't either. read more

SHAME ON CVS for selling prescription drugs to everyone, including the elderly, who don't know the difference, who are on fixed incomes, at prices 500% higher than over the counter prices. (Depending on their insurance.) Dr's will write prescriptions for over the counter drugs. CVS should be required by law to inform customers when their prescription prices vastly exceed the over the counter prices! CVS tries to blame the insurance companies, but they are part of the problem. read more

I've had such a pleasant experience here and my meds are always ready on time. The staff is incredibly helpful especially during a time where they are understaffed. Worst CVS I have ever been to. Prescription is never ready even when I refill it over the phone and I end up having to wait hours or even days to pick something up. We visited the store at 7901 E Thomas Rd on the evening of January 10, 2022 at approximately 6:45 pm. We were attempting to transfer prescriptions from Walgreens to CVS I had a negative experience with the same store about 8 years ago. I had thought we could give the store a second chance since it is so close to our home. It was a enormous mistake on my part to think that their Customer Service has improved. The last time, the issue was over trying to get a flu shot. This time, we were told in no uncertain terms that we can not transfer prescriptions because they have too much business and do not want our business. We were told to go elsewhere. I am flabbergasted that they do not want more business. Most retailers want to grow their business, not send customers away. I am sure the stock holders would be interested in knowing that they do not want to grow their business. My guess is that it was too close to quitting time and the Pharmacy tech did not want to do the paperwork necessary to transfer a prescription. Sending potential Pharmacy customers away not only affects business in the Pharmacy, people tend to make impulse purchases. While picking up a prescription it is not uncommon for someone to purchase vitamins or cosmetics or soda or candy. I strongly advise that you do not waste your time going to this store, as they do not want more business. read more

I really dislike leaving bad reviews but I feel like I need to share the experience I had at this CVS so that other people don't have to go through the same thing I did. I went into CVS a few months ago to receive my flu shot. It was fast, and the pharmacist was friendly (this is why my review isn't only one star). I went back two months later because I was starting a new job that required proof of my flu shot and so I went to get this proof from CVS, and I was completely appalled when they told me they had no record of my flu shot on file. They questioned me and claimed that there was no way I had received my shot at this location and when things escalated to the pharmacist, she advised I "take it up with corporate". Not only did they not have my shot on file, they were terribly rude to me about it. Funny thing is, my boyfriend was with me at the time of my shot, and with me when I went to get my record, and so I asked them to do a quick lookup to see if his shot was on file and it was. This could have been prevented and was clearly due to someone not making record of my visit and shot. I left disappointed and angry and I will never be returning to this, or any other CVS. read more

I've read the reviews, and most of them are hilarious. Remember when visiting a business that will offer you services, that you do not work there. You do not know store policy. You've never been a pharmacist and you don't know what the hell you're talking about. Customer services is as good as the customers they serve. I have been going here for sometime bc of location/ convenience only. But i'm officially done with this place all together after speaking with a lady named "Cheryl". Cheryl or however you spell her name needs to be educated on how to deal with customers wanting simple answers to questions without her attitude being involved in the conversation. During our lovely conversation she insisted she spoke with me directly a few minutes prior which was INCORRECT. Don't be so assuming Cheryl, it makes you look ugly. My second issue with CVS is they do not properly save your insurance info. Another issue I was trying to get squared away before Cheryl decided to act like she knew what I was calling for. You're not a mind reader Cheryl. You get paid to fill prescriptions and run them through the insurance CORRECTLY which they haven't been doing. Shouldnt this be illegal?! But being that Cheryl acted like a mind reader, why didnt she know this? Now b/c of "Cheryl" they lost my business for good. I don't care what you get paid or how stressed out you are with your job IT'S NOT THE CUSTOMERS PROBLEM. I had a horrible experience at the location at Indian school and Miller last night. Had my prescriptions transferred to this one. They are still behind and not all my scripts were ready but the service and treatment were night and day different. The manager, Dwayne, was amazing. So kind, apologetic and did not in any way act like it was my fault they were behind and struggling. This is my favorite CVS in the Valley. It appears to be slightly more "upscale" than other CVS's and it starts w/their parking lot/exterior vibe, as they have nice awnings covering some spaces. The awnings have crawling plants (Ivy?) which adds a "home-y" feeling. Every time I walk thru their doors I'm greeted by their Cashier in a cheerful tone. Their Pharmacists/Pharmacy Techs are friendly as well and consistently fill my Rx's quickly as I wait. NOTE: At the *very* most, I've had to maybe wait 10 minutes for multiple Rx's to be filled. Their pharmacy team seems to be a sturdy, well-oiled machine. The store is always in-stock and neatly zoned within their shelves. It's tidy and clean, which creates a pleasant shopping experience. They also offer drive-thru for Pharmacy for ppl to utilize (especially with our flaming summer heat). read more

Worst staff of any pharmacy. "Yes I see you're prescribed 30 of those pills but we only have 17 would you like to forfeit the rest?" Um no my doctor prescribed that for a reason... What the hell??? I have never been happier with my pharmacist since switching to Walgreens. The associates at this particular location flat out LIE. Told me "per my insurance" they couldn't fill my prescription until the 1st, which was 5 days out and I was leaving town on vacation. Walgreens file it within an hour. Never going back. read more

The hours listed online for pharmacy say they close at 8. Had a prescription called in and went to pick it up at 730 and the pharmacy was closed. A little frustrating when you expect to get a needed medication and the pharmacy closes before the time listed. Either change the hours listed on the website, or stay open for the listed hours. I am expected to stay at my job for the total hours, why is it different here? If I had known they can just close down before the listed hours, I would have gone to another pharmacy. Now I am without my medication for another night. Will NOT be returning. read more

I am in the service industry, so anyone who has to deal with the public day in and out, I completely understand there can be stressful times, but I have to say no matter how many times I come to this location (was always my main pharmacy due to convenience of the drive thru) there was always an employee with an attitude even though I would always try to chat with a smile. I have issues filling prescriptions, only at this location (would take to other cvs to fill same day no problem) issues with their filling time...tell me to return in 2 hrs, returned in 3 hrs and still not ready...was told 2 other times to return because still not ready. Finally gave up to transfer prescriptions to other cvs because was tired of the lies and miscommunication. I have met one nice young lady at this pharmacy but havent seen her in awhile, everyone else is rude with eye rolls. I have given them numerous 3, 4th, and 5th chances. I beg anyone to reconsider going to this location, they obviously would rather not have your buisness. Thanks for reading hope this helps and eventually with enough complaints these employees can go thru proper training on how to greet customers with a smile once in awhile.
