The produce section was well stocked and competitively priced. Fruits were pretty fresh too. The number of self check-out stations have gone down drastically with only 4 for the entire store. You can buy the 1.5 quart size Thrifty ice cream for $5.99 from the refrigerators, or go for over the counter Rite Aid ice cream which is my favorite. $2.79 for my single scoop cherry ice cream. Yes, plenty of mouth watering flavors to choose from. Delicious and special. Felt like a kid again, but it's no longer under $1 for sure. Two or three scoops would be too much for my appetite. Overall, good customer service at the ice cream counter. You have to pay for it at the cashier area in advance before they can serve you their ice cream. Lady was very helpful. I was there to see what Loreal sulfate-free products were but they were only for shampoo, conditioner and leave-in. I was looking for sulfate-free hair color. There was good size aisle of hair coloring products from different brands. I didn't have enough time to look at them all. I'll browse online to see what they are and if there's anything worth trying, I'll stop by the store. CVS aisles are clean and it's well lit inside.
