There have been many times she's helped us navigate through difficult situations, but there is one I remember in particular that stands out. Our insurance had overcharged us for medication that we could have gotten in the generic brands. We didn't realize it, and paid, then went on about our day. Cristen called us quickly to let us know that she'd found our exact medications cheaper, and asked us to come in for a refund. While we were there, she went through an itemized list for the previous fills, (because my husband is on several medications per month) and discovered that we were able to get refunded on them all. She had the cash ready for us, receipts exchanged, and thanked her profusely. She saved us over $200 in prescriptions and told our insurance company off. Needless to say, we switched insurance. We left Oakdale Pharmacy, for a few months due to a move. Now we're back, and I couldn't be happier. Cristen will catch prescription order mistakes, make sure your medications are safe for you, that nothing interacts, and if it does, collaborate with your doctor to find an alternative. She fills promptly, on time, and is fast and super friendly. She asks questions, yes. Because she is a great pharmacist, who knows most of us are just trying to get by, and that we don't need the hassle of trying to navigate a complex medical system. I don't have to worry about our meds with her. It's a huge relief. You're not just another profit here. You're family.

My mother was a client at two previous assisted care facilities and her Rx were serviced by CPP. Then a stroke hit, she was in rehabilitative care for two months then moved to a more comprehensive facility with the discharge Rx sent to CPP. I checked early in the week to see what happened. The woman on the phone said there was no record, did not know who this patient was ( in spite of several months in which CPP serviced her Rx needs) and hung up. When I spoke to Charles, and relayed this incident, he denied it happened or could have happened (nice he protects/defends his employees, despite their behavior) and said he could only assist next week and perhaps some arrangements could be made. A lot of good when there is an immediate need for the Rx. Here is one customer CPP will not see again.
