I was so impressed with the service at this Walgreens, both at the pharmacy and the front of the store! I live in San Francisco and was driving through Modesto, on my way to Yosemite, when I realized I forgot to pick up a prescription! I called this Walgreens and was able to have 2 prescriptions transferred to this location electronically. The medications were ready within 15 minutes of my call. The store staff was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. The woman who greeted me when I walked in was very pleasant, and the pharmacy staff was also kind and helpful. I had an appointment for a Covid-19 shot, I was there 20 mins before my appointment time. There was a big line and It moved very slowly!! Both pick-ups and covid shots were in one line!! After waiting more than 40 mins I returned home, as the line didn't forward more than 2-3 persons! I was really upset and could not recommend it to anyone! read more

I honestly like completely dread getting my refills done every month or two. Every time that I put in an order something happens and then they say to contact them but when I contact them either no one responds or someone responds tells you they're going to put you on hold and then they'll hang up on you. There's always like an issue going on so I never get my refills done on time. Then I feel like a complete psycho because I have to call them and ask them what's going on and until I do a few calls after a few days then they refill my prescriptions. read more

The pharmacy here is HORRIBLE!! I went to pickup a prescription at 11 am and they told me they filled them as they go so it would take a while and to leave my number to receive a text message when it was ready. It was 3:30 and I still hadn't received a message so I went and waited in the drive thru line just for them to tell me that it wasn't ready and to leave my phone number to receive messages. I told the lady that I was told that in the morning and that I had left my number as well, she told me that there was no number on file. When I asked how long it would take she told me that they don't give time estimates and that they were a whole day behind!!! I was very upset because I was told something differently in the morning and had I known they were a whole day behind I wouldn't have waited in the drive thru at all. However, that all changed since the new senior pharmacist started and I have discontinued my business there. He did not get to know me, my history or my medication needs and made certain assumptions about me. He was dishonest and felt he was more knowledgeable of my character than my own doctor. read more

The pharmacy is absolutely horrible. The staff are clueless! We waited in the drive through for thirty minutes and they didn't even have the persons prescription filled. We thought that person was just rude but come to find out a medication that was called in to us as being ready on Thursday they had not filled. So they're calling people that their meds are ready when they're not. I called to try and figure out what was wrong but they didn't pick up their phone for over fifteen minutes and then they said they were closed when we were next in line. I have been here many times and the last 2 previous times have been the worst experience! This Walgreens has the worst customer service. I came here to get something but it was an item that was locked and needed an employee key but i had to wait 30 mins just to get this ONE thing. My boyfriend and I were walking around the store looking for an employee and we found 1 and he followed my bf to the aisle i was at but instead turned the opposite way and went to the register to help other customers. He tended to other customers that came even after we did and the wait was just ridiculous! Another time, i went to buy some other things. There were signs underneath the items that said "with card : $6.99" we had our walgreens card and the girl at the register rang us up and even asked us to swipe it and our total came out pretty high still even though we used our card. So as i was in the car in the parking lot looking at the receipt, i told my bf that the total doesnt seem right because we were supposed to get some discounts because we used our card!! But the girl didnt even include it! Also might i add, while we were waiting in line, the girl was working so slow and having such a long conversation w/ the ppl in front of us and took a lot much longer than she needed to. There are also hardly any workers and so many people always go there. Another thing, i had purchased an iPhone charger because the price tag said $15 and nothing else around it or anything and when the girl rang it up, it was $26!! I was pretty outraged and felt deceived so right after i went back in and returned it. The customer service here is just so horrible, i do not recommend this Walgreens at all! read more

You get your medication from this Pharmacy beware if you think your medication is not working it could be that it was supposed to be dispensed and given to you and it's an original bottle and not a regular plastic prescription medicine bottle from the pharmacy I told them they can't put one of my medications anything other than what that medication came in they told me it was fine I had to call the manufacturer of that medication and they said no it's not because of medication would be no good because it doesn't stay stabilized and anything other than the glass container that it's supposed to be dispensed in so make sure you check your medications because these idiots don't know what they're doing and they're going to kill somebody read more

Sweetest blonde lady works there. She's awesome, seems to genuinely care about the customers and always engages in conversation. She's awesome and deserves a raise. She should be teaching all the other shitty Walgreens workers how to properly act. She's the epitome of GREAT customer service. The security guard is awesome too. Just as friendly. Definitely the last thing you'd think you'd get, especially in that area of Modesto. Kudos to the both of those workers. Always have the best selection whether it be seasonal things, candy, toys whatever you may need this is the Walgreens to go to. read more
