Not great! I live close by and so I come here when I crave a jalapeño cream cheese taquito. Unfortunately the last few times I've came here, including today, it's been a disappointment. I order "the jalapeño cream cheese taquitos" and there's what appears to be 6 on the roller, well if they had put them in the right spot. However they weren't all jalapeño ones. I'd say the last 5 times I've came here MOST of the taquitos have been some kind of orange nasty chicken inside. Today I ordered "all of the jalapeño taquitos" and they put all 6 in that row in a box and I paid over $6 for them. Only to bring them home and have TWO jalapeño ones! My first bite was into a nasty orange chicken one and it got spit out. Then I tore all of the others in half revealing only TWO were jalapeño! And FOUR were that chicken one! As I was standing in line, I was observing this cashier, her name was Shannon. Out of all the 7-Elevens I have been, she was probably the most friendliest one I've ever met. She was so nice to the customer in the wheelchair, and then the customer in front of me, and then she was very friendly and very helpful. Not for a second I felt like I was at a convenience store. The customer customer service was impeccable. I made sure I told her, and it did make her day she said. However, I just wanted to let her owners or the manager know as well. Great work today Shannon. I truly wished I would've researched this before I made the impulse decision to purchase a large pepperoni pizza (which happened to be $2 more than advertised price). Smelled good, was super hot and ready to eat. So I did what anybody would do, took a huge chunk out of a cheesy slice and immediately on swallow I could tell something wasn't right. Chemicals? Worse? Well it wasn't until I Googled the description that I realized: PLASTIC. this pizza taste like pepperoni and plastic, which ... funny... I don't remember that being an option on the menu. I bought a pizza from this store on McHenry in Modesto. I did notice it had an odd smell about the place. I bit into the pizza and after a few bites thought it really smelled like plastic and had a bitter aftertaste. I trashed it and bit into the wings which had a bitter after taste( which I spat out) Don't buy/eat anything from the plastic easy bake( poison) oven. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE !!!!! I just got my order from THIS 711 through DoorDash , me and my 6 year old severed ourselves cereal , when I took my first spoonful I literally ran to the bathroom to spit it out , that milk was EXPIRED !!! I'm so disgusted and very disappointed in this 711 for this . Contacted DoorDash and got my refund but I'm NEVER purchasing anything from here again I suggest you not to as well . Sufficiently friendly, sufficiently stocked, sufficiently pricey. I would stop again, no doubt. Maybe, it's a matter of the location, toward downtown, but it seemed less accessible, less friendly. Very strange experience...but I guess that's what you get for getting slurpees and coffee at 3 am. Clerk was busy cleaning (mopping actually) which made a portion of the store inaccessible. (no donuts boo!) also there was nothing to add to the coffee but those funky little non dairy creamers and sugar...Coffee smelled fresh and is ok but the creamer is gross. 7 bucks though for a huge cup of coffee and 3 slurpees so can't beat that. Had really loud screaming metal playing...but my husband said "he's working graveyard at 7 11 give him a break" ok so I'm not one starring him....graveyard anywhere sucks...but dude that music was pretty bad. read more

I did it, I went back. I decided to give this hopeless store of pain and despair a second chance. I truly wish I could say I had a better experience, but that is simply not the case. The course of events that took place when I went to get my doctor-prescribed mocha iced coffee are nothing short of a tragedy. I walk in, grab the appropriate cup, and went to the machine to fill it up. But lo-and-behold, the machine is "out of order" Excuse me?! 7/11, you are very, very lucky i didn't take legal action before now, but unfortunately you've given me no other choice. I made a promise to myself after last time that if I was disappointed again by this store that I would sue the shorts off every single person that owns 7/11, works in 7/11, or has even just set foot in 7/11. My lawyer will be reaching out soon. And honestly guys, is it so difficult to pour some coffee in the machine?? My tax dollars don't pay you minimum wage to leave the coffee dispenser empty. I go to 7-11 on McHenry almost daily ,the 7-11 im talking about is the one closer to 5 points, anyway i took a $20 lottery ticket there that. I knew was a $60 dollar winner , i know it was because i checked it atleast 3xs so when this female cashier took my ticket to check it she stood in front of the sceen so i couldnt see the screen along with 5 other employees in and out of the way she said my ticket was not a winner, but my 2 , $1 tickets were ticket winners, she threw my ticket and the lil tag that says its a winner in the trash right away i thought nothing of it and left , when i got. The only thing that is good about this Seven Eleven is the Mountain Dew Blue Slurpee, other then that there is nothing much to make you want to shop here. The people that work here are very rude and never smile. I think that they tell there employees to be unfriendly to customers. Their prices are extra super duper high and this is the only place in town that charges a tax on the Modesto Bee , our local newspaper. If you can I recommend stopping somewhere else. read more
