I'm very disappointed with the way my son was treated at this ARCO location. He went in to buy the advertised "2 for $4 Gatorade" deal, but the cashier told him he couldn't purchase the promotion, he told him that it was not available any more. Even worse, when he asked to just buy ONE bottle instead at the regular price, they refused to sell it to him at all. This is completely unreasonable and feels like false advertising. No customer, especially a young one, should be embarrassed or denied service over something so simple. If ARCO is going to promote deals, they need to honor them and train their employees to treat customers with respect. Until this is addressed, I will be rethinking where I give my business, and I encourage others to be cautious about shopping here. read more

I went in to use the restroom and got denied to use the restroom. There was an Asian guy with glasses and a beanie, with a bit of an accent. I told him please let me use the restroom and that I was about to pee my pants. He said no again. Then there was 3 twelve packs of models Chelsea's in a row and it was labeled as $14.99, so when I went to pay it was $18.99, I showed him that they say $14.99 and he said no whatever was there finished so the chelada's got placed there I explained to him that, that is false advertiement and he should honor it and he said no. To the manager of this establishment your employee Wally front cashier on May 29th at 7: 00pm service me. Wally needs to lose his job. Each of us are in control of our own employment whether we stay or whether we go by the actions that we perform while on the job. I came in and I had a $10 scratcher that I received $10 cash for. I asked for $25 on pump number 9 and handed Wally a $100 bill. I received the change and did not count it because I darted to the bathroom. I walked out and went to pump my gas on pumped number 9. I walked back into the store and said to Wally you're going to make this transaction right. I repeated what happened I handed you a scratch it for $10 here is the 10 and I asked you for $25 on pump number 9 and gave you 100 and this is the change you gave me I said and so how much were you supposed to give me back he said I know $75. That's wonderful I know he remembers the transaction because it just happened I said and how much do you see here. He told me I would have to come back in the morning because it's been too long for him to validate whether or not he didn't give it to me. I said you know you didn't give it to me that's why you called out $75 I didn't have to tell you so I need the 20 or either give me the name and number of your manager. Wally stated if I give you then stopped taking.. almost as if he was going to negotiate and this is the reason why Wally should be terminated he is not trustworthy and he was in control of his own employment and decided to jeopardize his employment by stealing a 20 from a woman. Man, let me tell you. The owner of this place LOVES backpacks. So much so, it is one of the few English words this man can say. While you are literally paying for the only items in the store you touched, he will come up shouting at you and his employees enthusiastically shouting "nOOOOOOOOO BACKPACK, nOOOOOOOOO BACKPACK" while pointing at your bag like he has never seen one in his life. Let me encourage ALL customers of this establishment, dont be a fool and leave your purses, laptop bags, man bags, diaper bags, or backpacks in the car. Driving from San Francisco to LA I stop here for some coffee, at this point I was loosing my vision because my blood sugars was really low and I'm type 2 diabetic. I ask the guy when he came to the door if he can please help me out with a coffee I told him my trip is far and I need the sugar, this guy was a jerk told. Me I need to wait till they reopen. tried to make it to the next gas station but things turn to the worst. I was force to pull over and ask Siri to dail 911 for me. *Review is only for the gas pumps. Not the mini mart/store. Pumps were all being used as the prices were about 5cents cheaper than Chevron across the street. I waited my turn. I noticed that the place had limited parking for the store/mini mart. The location is on a small corner lot. There are 12 pumps, 6 on each "island". I began pumping and was looking up at the sky just wondering to myself and as I was looking up I noticed a few security cameras. I then scanned behind me and looked over to mini mart, thought to myself, "dang this must be a targeted store for theft/robberies...lotsa security camers at every corner!" Is that good or bad?? Anyway~ I used my ATM card right at the pump, no problems. Washer fluid buckets were full and squeegies were fairly new. Easy on and off main drag. read more

do not go here! your card will be compromised. i went on a wednesday morning and that same day my card was compromised and attempting to be used in texas. i should have known they were suspect when they said we only accept debit. what gas station doesn't accept credit card. it should be my choice not the gas station, to decide what type of payment i use. it's one thing for the card machine to be down but to me it's extremely suspect that they don't accept credit. nevertheless i will never set foot in that poor excuse of a gas station ever again. the line is always so long and i don't trust them. if you have to go here use cash only. never ever swipe your card. on top of that i went inside to swipe my card so that is even more suspect! fraudlent bums! read more

Great gas prices here, lots of goodies inside, open 24/7! I'm digging the hand sanitizer also. Customer service is good. Love AM/PM. Too much good stuff! Inside the store, there is a manager of Indian descent and she is very disrespectful and rude. I go in there often only because of the convenience of their cash-back on debit cards. But NO MORE. This lady has insulted me for the last time. She feels anyone who is black must be coming in to steal. One time I came in their and explained that I felt uncomfortable leaving my backpack in the front because it contained my laptop. Another time, I went in and noticed the other worker, a white guy was at the near end of the counter watching me as I put condiments on my hot dogs. I was so angry I walked up and told him I wasn't there to steal anything. He said, "I know, man, but she's tripping." This woman and am/pm need to stop stereotyping people.
