The personnel at Ceres Drug Store are so friendly and helpful. The pharmacist knows medicines and answers all my questions all the time. When I was too I'll to easily get to the store, they provided delivery of my medications free of charge. Their gift department is excellently stocked and gift wrap is free. They are the kind of business that existed back in my grandparents' days. I always call ahead with my order, but there have been times when I added one when I got there, and they fill it immediately. They take care of their customers. The store is also a gift store that you would never expect to find. They gift portion is large, and it is filled with all types of gifts. Friendly and courteous staff, convenient hours and delivery make this a fantastic pharmacy /drugstore. Delivery is a sick persons dream...doesnt get more convenient. I use a medication that Justin & Ted ( pharmacists) order a particular brand for me...no questions asked. Special orders? Yes. Debit card/CCards? Yes? All of my over the counter medication I get advice from them... as well as a special order a vitamin I cant find elsewhere. The best thing about being with the pharmacy for over 20 years? When I come in, I am usually greeted by multiple staff, and called by name. The pharmacists are extremely knowledgeable with good down-to-earth information, as well as being up-to-date on on drug interaction. You can tell they care about their customers as they make them feel welcome and develop relationships with them over the years. Their service is fast and efficient, and the store has a large selection of unique gifts. They even wrap your gift! I have used many Pharmacys in my lifetime. Ceres Drug Tops my list as My Number 1 best ever! The staff is amazing and friendly. You never EVER feel like just a number. I am a long time chronic pain sufferer. One of the sad facts of life in this industry is that because of all the Drug seekers and junkies many pharmasists make assumptions and are very judgemental if you are ANY type of controlled substances. They make you feel uncomfortable, worthless and like the scum of the earth. This will NEVER happen to you at Ceres Drug. They are a breath of fresh air in a sad sad world. If you have to pay cash for any of your RX's the prices cant be beat! I have one RX my insurance refuses to cover so I have to pay out of pocket. All of the chain stores want anywhere between $68-85 dollars, Ceres Drug Charges me $15!! The little store itself is AMAZING! They have the cutest things to look at and purchase. If you have to wait for your meds you will never be bored waiting. I have found many adorable, beautiful and unique gifts there. Last but not least they even have Free Delivery if you live in town! Who does that anymore??!! Sadly I don't live close enough to enjoy this anymore but am just fine having to drive from Modesto to get my meds. Ceres Drug Store (located next door to Wells Fargo) has to be one of the safest places in all of Stanislaus. This place takes pride in cleanliness & customer service. From the moment you walk into the store, you know exactly where your at, even if blindfolded, because the delightful smell has been the same since I can remember ever first entering (a good 15 years back or so) which is simply amazing. I've heard now that they do home-delivery on prescriptions which is a huge plus for many elderly people. As far as products & pricing aside from the medication, you can find anything from homemade decor, to authentic Marilyn Monroe items. All at affordable prices for a place of it's kind. Don't forget to grab a candy off the shelf before leaving, that candy shelf has been there since I was a kid, & nothing (other then prices) have changed about it. If you keep anything Ceres Drug Store, KEEP THE CANDY SHELF & keep using sharpie's for the pricing. It's classic now. read more
