I been a customer of this store since it was located on Hatch rd. staff has changed over the years then it was located on corner of Whitmore and Mitchell rd. I have no complaints about the employees, but I am missing so many points that I never have used. I always get my prescriptions there and some of the merchandise, but I was surprised to find out how many points I had for shopping there for so many years. the majority of employees there are nice and helpful, but it is true that some are super rude and appear to be annoyed by their customers. If you don't like people, please get another job. Customer service it's what makes a store a pleasant place to shop. read more

The pharmacy stopped answering there phone since the beginning of last year. They will answer the phone 5% of the time and that is after repeated calls. Not sure if this company is not hiring enough people or they are hiring lazy people, but they are screwing with people's health. read more

The level and quality of customer service should not be dictated by the way someone dresses. When I ask, "What information do you need?" And the response is "your insurance." And I say, "Blue Shield of CA" and you say "no, I need your insurance info. I can't look it up." And I say "what do you need then?" Don't just say "your insurance." Again. Pharmacy needs some help with the staff as far as professionalism is a concern. The folks at the counter think they have a medical degree and that they have a right to speak to grown up educated professionals in a manner that I wouldn't speak to my kids. Horrible experience here in the pharmacy section. It's all she say he say. I brought in my moms medication to get filled and they wouldn't let me saying the DEA requires that they scan her license and without that they couldn't help me. The lady seemed extremely sketchy as if she thought I was lying, i felt as she was just trying to deter me from ordering the prescription. Funny enough I called Walmart and they told me that wasn't true and I just had to get my mom to call to authorize that I can pick up her medication. What a relief as it was on my way home. This Rite Aid used to be on Whitmore and just recently opened. In all, it's a new place with the same friendly and helpful people. It's quite close to a couple of schools and when the kids get out and converge here, ( you know how kids travel in packs) it could feel like you've been transported to a school cafeteria. I regularly get my prescriptions here. If I've had to wait in the store, it's been under an hour so I've either sat down or wandered around browsing. If I drop off in drive through and am waiting, they get my prescription filled and I go get it before they close. They are very professional here and I haven't had any problems. read more

I have never been so disrespected in my entire life. There was an Asian women that assisted me and was so rude and disrespectful. Horrible customer service, by far the worst rite aid customer service I've had. The very instance I have any interaction with a worker she gives me dirty looks and a very dispicable attitude towards me as tho I've done something wrong by walking in the entrance. She tells me that I have to get in line at the register away from the ice cream, which some other people came in and when . watch video.. I referred them to the front register away from the ice cream they were told they could go back to the register by be the ice cream(I went in for seconds on the ice cream).When I went into the bathroom the instance I sat down there was a knock on the door, someone exclaiming to hurry they've been trying to use the restroom for a while... Although I just got in. Then a second knock (about 3 minutes into using the restroom) he starts cursing at me as tho I'd been in there a long time. Then as I'm washing my hands a third time knocking still cursing saying that he's been waiting all day for me to get out. I replied that I had just gotten in just before he first knocked the first time and that I'm washing my hands and that I'll be right out. As I exit the restroom I notice it's another employee... Possibly the manager.. seeing as tho this employee had a name tag on.. An old man with a big old scab on his head, like he'd been picking at it. I've never been treated with so much disdain as if I had already done them wrong just by walking in the door. I usually have pleasant experience at rite aid... I have been using rite aid pharmacy for years. They are definitely a great company with friendly staff. If i have an issue and verbalize it they make sure I get an answer and correct any mistakes they may make. They are always willing to help with insurance companies as well if you have issues. You get automatic refills on text message too, so if you are like me who always forget until u miss a few doses of meds, they give great reminders and as easy and dialing 1 on your phone. I have only had 2 problens ever and it wasnt really their faukts. It was an insurance issues and doctor issue. They let me know right away when i called what was wrong and what i needed to do to handle the issues. Staff is just always super friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and well maintained too. I have ALWAYS had friendly helpful staff as well. Been using this pharmacy for almost 13 years now. read more

I went into this Rite Aid yesterday to return 2 bottles of Essie Nail Polish that my mom bought me about 1-1 1/2 weeks ago but I did not have a receipt so the cashier said she had to ask a manager which was totally fine. Finally the manager came up and took the nail polish and said he had to make sure they carried it so I said ok and stood there waiting and waiting and waiting. Then I hear the manager call for security saying he needed help with something over the intercom and about 5 minutes later he came back up with a rude look on his face and an attitude in his voice and said "one of the polishes we haven't carried since 2018 and the other one since 2017 so i dont know what you're trying to do?" I was in complete shock because not only was he lying but because of how rude he was! I said "umm I bite my nails so that's why I'm returning the polishes and I know of multiple rite aid stores that carry these colors but it's fine, thank you" and turned around and left while the manager and two employees were staring at me until I got in my car (my bf was still in the store and watched as it happened) but I feel it was completely unacceptable for the manager to be as rude as he was and for no reason but apparently his management position at a local rite aid gives him the power to act like god and talk down to customers and treat them like shit! So unacceptable! I will never step foot in this store again! read more

While some of the staff here is friendly, most seem as though helping customers is an imposition. Drive-thru wait times are outrageous, typically lasting around 20 minutes with 3-4 cars ahead of mine. Today I waited 20 minutes (not wanting to pull my sick baby out for a 2 minute transaction) to be told my prescription, which had been placed 1.5hrs earlier, would be ready in 5-10 minutes. With 3 cars waiting behind me, I decided to return later. This is the worst Rite-Aid pharmacy I've ever been to. I used to go to the one on McHenry but I recently moved to Ceres so I had to transfer my medication. Pharmacy staff is extremely rude and seem to not care about anything. I refilled a prescription through the automated system last night and it said it would be ready today at noon. I called to verify and it took 4 tries to get through to someone. Finally they told me that they didn't have the medication in stock and it would be there tomorrow. This has happened two other times already, with no notification! Do they not realize that people's medications are on strict daily schedules?! They could at least call and tell me that, not making me wait until last minute. I seem to constantly be having problems with this location. read more

I went in to have a prescription refilled and waited for about 15 or 20 minutes before the pharmacy clerk acknowledged I was there. After about 30 minutes the clerk came to help me. After getting some information she stated she could not refill the prescription. I had the doctor fax over the prescription the next morning. I called that evening and the female clerk that answered the phone was very short and rude on the phone. I asked her how she could know if my prescription was ready without knowing my name (she only had my birthdate). She got rude with me and said "IT IS NOT HERE" and hung up on me. I will take my business elsewhere! Customer service is obviously not important at this store. By the way, this was my first experience and last with this store! read more
