I can't say enough good things about. I have an extensive array of prescriptions, one of which my insurance refuses to cover. For years I'd being paying $200 a month for it at Walgreens; waiting in line for an hour, then being told I was one day early to pick it up. Familia Farmacia is truly family owned and operated. Veteran Owned. Miguel and Issac and their staff of the nicest people remind me of service long forgotten. Their not trying to get rich on patients like me, they are honest and reasonable. The money I've saved there is off the scale. I've saved hundreds of dollars in a very short time. Even their over the counter medications cost less than. They'll even deliver in an emergency. During the Covid 19 Pandemic they've donated gloves and masks to local hospitals! When I had a surplus of paper towels, I donated it to them Issac and Miguel. My mother was a client at two previous assisted care facilities and her Rx were serviced by CPP. Then a stroke hit, she was in rehabilitative care for two months then moved to a more comprehensive facility with the discharge Rx sent to CPP. I checked early in the week to see what happened. The woman on the phone said there was no record, did not know who this patient was ( in spite of several months in which CPP serviced her Rx needs) and hung up. When I spoke to Charles, and relayed this incident, he denied it happened or could have happened (nice he protects/defends his employees, despite their behavior) and said he could only assist next week and perhaps some arrangements could be made. A lot of good when there is an immediate need for the Rx. Here is one customer CPP will not see again.

Driving while your eyes are dilated (especially down 99) is NOT a good idea. I received a rec from a very reliable source about Modesto Optometric Vision Center. I called and made an appointment to get my peepers checked. The office is quite posh inside. Comfy couches and chairs with a nice selection of mags while you wait for your name to be called. My appointment was with Dr. Ed Elliott. He has been an optometrist for many years so I felt that my eyes were going to get a thorough checkup. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly and professional. My eyes were put through many tests (peripheral vision, acuity, photos, etc.). I appreciated the fact that Dr. Ed really took the time to explain my test results. Who knew that your eyes are more individual than fingerprints? Since my vision has changed a bit, a new prescription was written. Time for new glasses! The selection? Wonderful! I chose a new pair of kate spade (lower case of course) tortoiseshell specs (for distance) and a pair of Versace (not Ver-sayce, ahem Showgirls) sunglasses. I am eagerly awaiting a call to inform me when my glasses are ready for pickup!

You have to understand that my mom was EXIGENT about not getting a pair of glasses after her cataract surgery a few years back. She was so adamant, we had to pay extra for the fancy lenses to be put in her eyes at the time of the surgery. IMAGINE MY SURPRISE when my parents called me after their appointment GUSHING about Dr. Garrett and how my mom had also gotten a pair of glasses ordered! Understand that I have been BEGGING her to get glasses for years after her surgery and, somehow, this young man was able to manage what I had thought to be impossible. They gushed about how thorough he was with them. They gushed about how, even though my parents are ESL, he somehow managed helping them understand the findings/recommendations of the visit w/o an interpreter (which is usually me). AND THEN.....he recommended some eye drops to my mom who shares Central Valley dry eye issues with me. So, I ended up with the same eye drops I have been using for the last few weeks and they have been AMAZING for me. So...my parents glasses arrive and a complimentary blue cleaning cloth also arrives...one side has grippies so that your fingers don't slip against the cloth as you clean your glasses! TRULY....thank you for addressing the smallest things. For those of you out there who knows how difficult it can be to manage a set of aging parents, this has been a true blessing.
