I needed to print off a book for studying. It was a decently large book (312 pages). I printed it and they had it ready pretty quickly! When I went to pick it up, they had it in a box ready for me to bring home. When I took it home, I began hole punching it and suddenly realized that I had a pretty big problem. The pages we mixed up! It looked like parts were together but then they would get all mixed up. It took about 1 1/2 hours and three people to put it back together in order. It caused more anxiety than I needed in that moment and for these reasons, Im giving 3 stars. read more

Their pharmacy is incompetent. They keep screwing up !!! It costs me money to keep going back because they are such idiots. An hour drive. I came here because of good reviews, but they are worse than Rite Aid by far. False promises, incompetence at its finest, and waste my time and gas. Do not go here unless you want to micro manage your medication constantly. Oh and if you have a question, calling in takes atleast 45 min to get to a person. They could give you a heads up on what is going on with your prescription, but no. You get home and be like what the heck. So check your bag before you leave. Go anywhere else. This Walgreens has the slowest pharmacy. I don't go in the drive up because the line takes forever. And when you go in all you hear is how they still don't have your Rx ready and it is so frustrating when you've call in ahead of time and they didn't even order it as promised. I've recently become a Rite Aid refugee, left adrift by their closure (absolute sadness!) and transferred all of my prescriptions to this Walgreens location. I DEEPLY regret doing so! I'm trying to be patient as I know they are swamped with the influx of many of Rite Aid's former customers, but corporate KNEW this was coming and should have planned staffing accordingly. I've had nothing but problems and I've decided they have until the end of this month (July 2025) to get it together or I'm going somewhere else. As a former retail associate, I know that good customer service is KEY! Not only have they completely lost that key in their pharmacy department, but it's left everyone locked out of quality care. I'm supposed to replace my glucose sensor today, and I asked for that prescription to be filled four days ago, and nothing. One of the times I was waiting in line, along with ONE other customer, and we waited TWENTY MINUTES without ANY acknowledgment by an associate. I completely understand that they're busy, trust me, I truly do, but that's when you address the customer, apologize for the wait, and tell them you'll be with them as soon as possible. That's all it would have taken, so simple, so overlooked. The other day I tried calling to put a refill in, and I waited on hold 40 minutes-with no answer, just that extremely annoying recording letting me know that they're sorry but all of their associates are assisting customers on another line. Ok, no big deal, it would even let me know how many callers were ahead of me, that's good, but the last twenty minutes, there was NO ONE ahead of me, and STILL no answer, just that blasted recording that made me want to throw my phone against the wall! (Seriously, does it need to play every 7-10 seconds?!? Every 30 would have been sufficient!). My last visit there I waited an HOUR to get my prescription, which I HAD to have, or I would have just said "screw it!". If you are a Rite Aid refugee like me, I HIGHLY suggest transferring your prescriptions elsewhere. Trust me on this one!! read more

I was just there and you talk about Friendliness.... I have lived in Oakdale for almost 40 years and got used to the "HI" or "HOWDY" from stores and these last few years NOTHING... And today I went in to get some chips for the grand-kids and this guy who was at least a head taller than me and I'm 6'1 walks by and says "Hello, ya ya doing" Felt like old Oakdale again. Then when I couldn't find my chips I asked the gentleman named "Isaiah" (Hope I spelled it right) at the register if they had anymore since their was only one bag and the web says plenty. That Young man went way above and beyond being a cashier by going down the isles looking for the chips and then the tall guy showed up who I figured to be the manager and he helped. Got the chips for the kids thanks to those 2. And it was really nice having a manager walk by and just randomly say hello again. Thank You Walgreens for Hiring great employee's who bring back that good ole feel of Old Oakdale. If ya need any stuff from the store head to Walgreens. The staff at this Walgreens are exceptional. Their main pharmacist is absolutely incredible. She answered any questions that I had on the phone before coming here - and she even gave me a call back with additional information - despite being busy. In every interaction that I had with her - she was kind and helpful. Once we arrived at this Walgreens,- I was blown away by their well-stocked shelves. I haven't been inside a Walgreens in awhile and I was particularly impressed by the size of this store. I try not to linger in businesses during this crazy time - but I was definitely tempted to take my time browsing their aisles. If you are looking for a pharmacy that truly cares about their customers - definitely check out this Walgreens. Trust. read more

Located off of F Street by the Oakdale post office. Business is clean & was well organized. They have a photo kiosk at this Walgreens. I was there to print out invitations for my daughter's birthday party. I had no idea how to work the machine. An employee named Stefany came over and helped me. She was extremely friendly & helpful. I did have to go back because I was shorted on invitations. The manager I talked to was very nice and she handled it very well. She was able to find my order and print out missing invitations right away. I was not upset about the missing invitations because it was not a big deal & just a simple mistake. Does not take away from the excellent customer service from both ladies!!!! read more

Went to the Oakdale Walgreens this morning to get my FLU SHOT to my surprise!!! The Pharmacy was CLOSED waited about 10 minutes thinking someone would open blinds there were a few of us standing in line finally one of the customers went up to the cashier to see why the pharmacy wasn't opening ??? She was told Pharmacist had a family emergency well things like that do happen BUT WHY do they NOT have back Pharmacist ?????? People need their medications & the BIG question is why couldn't the store at least put a NOTE on the window so their valued customers knew ????? I asked the lady in charge if she could put up a sign so people aren't just standing & waiting she said I guess we could but after being in the store for over 30 minutes getting other items I went by pharmacy NO NOTE posted !!!!!!!!!! I have never really been in the store for anything so I should start by mentioning that and letting you know that this review will focus solely on the pharmacy as a drive up customer. I'm sure the store is great, I just haven't been in there so I can't and shouldn't speak on that. When I pull in to the drive up pharmacy there is rarely if ever a line. When there is one, it's dealt with fairly quickly and things move along well. Once I'm up to the window and push the button then the staff is very kind, courteous, helpful, and attentive. If you do not push that button then you basically do not exist to them. So that's important. The staff always assists me in getting my families meds refilled and is great with billing my insurance and keeping my cost low. Although I rarely need a consult I do certainly appreciate that they are willing to do that for me if that ever changes. I strongly suggest Walgreens Pharmacy. read more

If I could give them a zero stars I would. The pharmacy started closing on sundays due to Covid, but none one of the employees in the store are wearing masks! Go figure....then they were closed Thursday 8/4 due to Covid....? Called Friday am to see if they were open, spent 45 minutes on hold, while on hold drove down to pickup rx and all the non-masked employees were just standing around, still my call was never answered. This place is a joke and someone needs to get in charge and take care of business! I will be making a report to the state of California to this unacceptable pharmacy! read more

We were in the process of putting together goodie bags as a send off to our Cheer team that is headed to Orlando, Florida for the D2 Summit, the Superbowl of Elite All Star Cheer. This Walgreens had the remaining items we needed. The other Walgreens said they had the personal fans we were looking for in stock. When my wife went there and asked about them the girl at the register looked and said they indeed had them in the back. The lazy ass manager said no one was going to get them out of the back yet. I live close to Walgreens and it is so useful when I can walk just a few blocks to get to a store that usually has everything I need. Location. Walgreens is across from a Gas Station and is on the main street of Oakdale. Service. I have never had an issue with the service here, they are all really nice. Prices. They are a little overpriced (Ex. Elmers Glue is $1.99). But they do have some items that are really cheap for a good value (Ex. Hersheys bar is $69). This is usually my store to go to when I need anything. Recommended for people who live far from big stores. read more

She had no gloves on handled my covid package handed to me never sanitized her hands as she bagged other products won't go back every week new clerks in pharmacy some days they close with no notice. It is sad that things have gotten So Bad that it is difficult to get enough staff to make things easier for everyone - but because staff are few - it still does not make rude or lack of even caring about human beings - OK. I made an Appointment on their website and STILL had to wait over an Hour for the vaccine. On top of that they consistently tell customers one thing about prescriptions - when they have them in stock or not - when a prescription that you request be Filled - then you go IN to the store and they still have not even started filling. Then the person smiles and tells you cheerfully that they will fill it now - so " if you would like to wait or come back in 15 or 20 minutes" they will have it ready. They have Lost or mixed up patient information (that makes me VERY NERVOUS!). But it is most frustrating when one staff member tells you a prescription WILL be ready the next day (because it was Not prepared one day) but when you come in the Next DAY you still can not pick it up! They need to honor their Word. Be Honest! And start acting as though the customer Matters. At ALL! read more

Very terrible experience I had this afternoon with one of their employees. I'm still very disgusting how I was treated after getting my prints and trying to get out of the heat for just a minute. I was standing outside trying to get into my Redbox account and this rude employee came out of no where and got dust all over me. He could have gotten my intention in a polite way but instead got dust all over me. I felt very disrespected and he didn't even acknowledge my existence. Who does that to someone?
