Unprofessional. Asked a simple question, what pharmacy do you use? Never got an answer. We use several pharmacies etc. Or didn't answer at all. Never received medication, had to call my credit card company and put a stop payment on the order. Avoid it all costs! Tower pharmacy could improve tremendously if they presented themselves transparently instead of hiding facts. read more

It's no wonder that Tower Pharmacy is so poor on customer service. It comes from the top. The owner responded to my review by shaming me for their errors. Their lack of employees and systems in place to manage their customer needs is not my problem. I have never had so many issues with a pharmacy before and it is clear now that the owner doesn't take responsibility for his inability to manage his customers. If you have too many orders to do the job then hire more employees or take fewer orders. read more

I live near Houston, Texas, and learned of Tower Pharmacy several years ago on a visit to my brother in Turlock. He spoke highly of it and I have been using them for several years now, via mail order service. Works well for me and their prices are very competitive. Ive been using Tower for years and I was happy. But the last few months have been frustrated with them. They never have my medicine ready when I run out even though I've called the refill in 7 days prior. I've called or have been called asking if I still want the medication I say yes, a few days ( like in the same week) I go to pick it up and I get there "we're no refills and we are waiting on the doctor". THEN way did you say they were filled and ready to be picked up. I don't like being lied to! I am seriously thinking of transferring all medications for my whole family to another pharmacy. I first experienced this pharmacy as a result of my Grandfather going onto Hospice, as we realized he was loosing his fight against bladder cancer. The staff is amazing, always helpful and seems to genuinely care about its customers. It took only two times picking up my grandpas prescriptions for the staff to learn my name. It may not seem like a big deal but for me it was HUGE! After losing my grandfather I made the choice to switch all of our prescriptions to Tower Pharmacy. Binax now tests are $24 literally everywhere else and only $19.99 directly from the supplier. Charging $80 for the same product is disgraceful. Use to go to Tower for the convenience, but now after TWO back-to-back situations, we will NEVER GO BACK TO TOWER AGAIN!! We called in our refill over the phone a couple nights before heading into town, as usual, as we live over an hour out of town. We got there 2 days later & was told it was too early to refill it. It certainly was not too early & had they looked at the date they last dispensed the last refill, they would've seen that!! And, couldn't they have made a phone call to us to let us know there was an issue before driving into town?? Poor customer service!! THEN, we waited the extra week they said we needed to in order to fill the Rx. WE called them on Friday to make SURE everything was good to go for when we made our next trip into town. They assured us that there was no longer a hold on the refill. She said everything was fine & it would be ready on Tuesday or Wednesday. We pulled into the drive through on Thursday & was told that they couldn't fill our Rx...AGAIN!!!!! Again, after being told there'd be no problem!! Again, no communication!! Twice we made the hour drive to Tower & twice we were screwed!! NEVER AGAIN!! Positively Piss Poor customer service is all I can say!! read more

This was my first visit to this pharmacy. They were very friendly and willing to help anyway they could. It's smaller than your big named pharmacy, but this place was very clean and organized. I took off one star because I was told they would give me a call when my Rx was ready and they did not. I had to call them a week later to find out the status of my Rx, which was ready two days ago. read more

Very rude,and lied about not being able to transfer prescriptions to another pharmacy, and was hung up on. They're only in it for your money, and if you don't go through them, they delete your prescription. The other pharmacy called to have the prescription transferred , but tower refused and deleted it from their system. Now have to wait even longer for the Dr to call in the prescription because these tower people only care about the dollar and not the patient in need. No reason to use these people any more. They're plenty other good pharmacies in town that actually care. read more

Tower has been our pharmacy since they opened in their other location. We have only experienced exceptional service and friendly staff. They have always gone the extra mile for my family and me. I do wish they were open more hours on Saturday but its a family run business and I respect their decision to close early on the weekend. I had to lower my review due to the fact that they wouldn't fill my sons RX because apparently our insurance coverage wasn't enough money in their pocket after we paid our co-pay... I realize some RX are pricey but it was a RX we had been filling there for some time. This RX was one you can't stop taking without tapering down. They should have filled it and said it would be the last time if it was a loss for them. Instead we had to search around and drive all the way to Modesto where it was in stock. They are great with Compounding Bioidentical Hormones for males and females. They will work with your doctor to explain the dosing with Bioidentical hormones. This is a much better and natural way to receive hormone supplements. Their prices are also amazing for the bioidentical hormones. The Tower thus far was good, though sometimes they didn't have in stock what I needed and had to order it, or I would have to wait until the next day due to their normal business hours. However the experience I had yesterday was inexcusable. I am a very nice person, and I go out of my way to give positive reviews, whether it is in person, on a website at a restaurant etc. This is my first negative review ever. Both the administrative employee and owner were rude. There was a mixup with insurances that needed to be resolved, but when in frustration that they were not willing to call my insurance with more info, I said that I was tempted to take my business elsewhere. The employee said "Fine." Then I had to call 3 times to talk to the owner, and when I asked if I could come in to discuss the problem with him and his employee, he said that wasn't necessary and if I wanted to stiff him that was up to me.
