Before I walked in here, I had looked at the reviews and I'll be honest. I was a little concerned…read morehowever it was a reminder that we should never take someone else's experience as what our own experience will be. I was greeted with friendly pharmacy staff. I really appreciate that. The pharmacist took the time to talk with me and even gave me a discount on my prescription. I will definitely be back here anytime I need any prescriptions filled.

Customer service needs to be greatly approved at this location. I recently got out of the hospital…read more I was put in the hospital the first time because I was experiencing a rapid decrease in blood pressure. Because of this I was taken off blood pressure medication. When I was released from the hospital, I was given a prescription for Losartan Potassium 50 Mg Tab with the instructions to take it if my blood pressure got over 140/90 which I did until the day before yesterday. Then my blood pressure skyrocketed. I still had my regular blood pressure medication, Losartan-HCTZ 100-25 Mg Tab. Since it was after 5 pm and the doctor's office was closed, I decided to go and talk to the pharmacist. That was a big mistake. What resulted was being talked to like a child just because I could not understand which Losartan the very rude pharmacist was referring to. First of all this pharmacist that I had never seen before had a very heavy accent and my hearing is not what it used to be. All I could get out of it was Losartan. I asked him which one and he just kept saying Losartan. Then he told me that I needed to listen when a pharmacist tells me something and that he had told me four times. I said that I am a retired teacher and I know how frustrating it can be to have to repeat something over and over, but could he please repeat it one more time because I didn't catch it. Is it Losartan Potassium 50 Mg Tab or Losartan-HCTZ 100-25 Mg Tab? He refused to tell me so I ended up having to take a guess. Fortunately, I guessed correctly. My question is this? Should a pharmacist have more patience with a 60 year old confused, hard of hearing, little old lady than that? I was polite and respectful to him. Shouldn't I at least deserve the same? At the very least he could have just pointed to the correct medication. I brought in both of them. It was such a terrible experience that if I see this mighty pharmacist there again, I will leave and come back later to get my prescription. Maybe better yet, I should just go to another pharmacy where I am respected in spite of my age and lack of hearing.

My initial encounter with Boies Medical Center Pharmacy was about 2 years ago and was a 5-star…read more However, with time, NOW working there are the rudest, most offensive & non-English speaking (fluently) individuals who refused to help me. They also said there were no orders for me then they said there was and lastly they changed their mind again and said they couldn't help me without an order. Shame on you for your staffing choices they seem to be motivated by friends and family, not competent workers. There is ZERO comprehension of the "urgency" of my needs; it is for my BREATHING for God's Sake. They denied my much-needed and electronically submitted "Order" for my compressor nebulizer plus a prescription to go along with it. I worked for several weeks to try to get this fiasco corrected and every time I'd phone the business, I would reach someone who didn't speak fluent English which is the staple of this Country USA, and to top that, the people didn't know what they were saying and 100% of the information they "reluctantly" gave me was incorrect! I took many photos because I wanted the public to know how much medical and ambulatory stuff people need back here but then I'm glad I am just now writing and crafting this review. I was even given a thank-you gift (from the previous employee on my first trip here with Dave for writing on Yelp about my experience) and for saying I was going to craft a great positive review but now I just cannot rate this business more than 2 stars. The original employees who were so helpful and jolly were not working on this day if they even still work there that is. Kudos to those who did work here nearly 2 years ago as they carry so much stuff for healing and care that it can save you from having to order stuff online. They had a ton of DME for seniors and individuals in general. I was shuttle-bussing my dear next-door neighbor & friend Dave, who also happens to be a senior citizen, to attend his many doctor's appointments and last-stop grocery shopping. We were also perusing the diabetic shoes for him. Lastly, please take note that these photos were taken no more than 2 years ago and live and in person by myself alone it is not to support this business now due to the change in leadership and staffing from-hell that has occurred. Buyer & Shopper Beware! Sincerely, Jana T.

Having stand alone displays beyond the end caps causes serious logjams on about every lane in the entire store. Their check-out lines are usually backed up and that too causes crowding in the isles near them. Their prices used to be way below other grocery stores, but that is not the case so much anymore. The only reason I still periodically shop here is because they carry some unique items that other grocery stores in town don't. Other than for that reason, I try to avoid this place.

Slip and Fall Incident at Walmart - Turlock, CA (March 3, 2025)…read more On March 3, 2025, I visited the Walmart in Turlock, CA to purchase groceries for dinner. Before checking out, I stopped to use the restroom. Upon entering, I encountered an extremely wet floor--so slick it felt as though someone had just mopped without warning. There were no wet floor signs posted anywhere in the bathroom. As I stepped in, I slipped and fell hard, sliding from the entrance all the way to the handicap stall. The impact was severe, and I immediately knew I would be in significant pain. I reported the incident to the on-duty supervisor, who completed an incident report and advised me to follow up on Sunday, March 4. I called the store that day and was placed on hold for 30 minutes. Frustrated, I went in person, only to be told that the staff responsible for handling claims do not work on weekends--information that should have been clearly communicated to me during the initial report. I attempted to follow up again on Monday, March 5, but since then, Walmart has not contacted me--not even to check on my well-being. The lack of follow-up and concern has been deeply disappointing and reflects extremely poor customer service. As a result of this fall, I am now dealing with ongoing injuries, particularly to my back, which have forced me to take medical leave from my job as a social worker--a role that requires frequent travel. I've had to use my sick and vacation time to cover my absence, and I have no family or support system to assist with bills or daily needs during this recovery period. This incident could have been prevented with proper signage and better communication. The physical pain, emotional stress, and financial burden I've endured have been overwhelming. I hope Walmart takes this matter seriously and improves its safety protocols and post-incident support for customers. it was emotionally exhausting and financially disruptive. The lack of communication and empathy from Walmart after such a serious incident is unacceptable, especially when you're left dealing with long-term injuries and no support system to lean on. I have trusted a major retailer to provide a safe environment, and they failed. Then, instead of stepping up and showing accountability, they left you in the dark. That's not just poor customer service--it's a failure of basic human decency.
