Walgreens used to be 24 hours?, by chance had an emergency tonight so I went to the Walgreens it was 1130. I had no idea that they stopped being 24 hours. The employee was just leaving and told me we changed the hours a year ago, but I did not know I always go by there on public transportation never noticed the sign had changed, then the employee tell me what you can go to CVS or you can go across town to the other Walgreens on sylvan, Coffee I drove my wheelchair just to get to this Walgreens on McHenry and your employee is telling me to drive my wheelchair to Sylvan and coffee Road. I'm not in a car. I'm in my electric wheelchair. How rude of your employee. At least I know now I can't go whenever I need to to do my shopping or get emergency supplies at Walgreens since you changed your hours thanks for nothing!! read more

This pharmacy does not deserve even one star, unfortunately there have been several times that they always delay my medication without caring about what they can cause to people who need daily medication for the rest of life, if you have more options of pharmacies do it because here they do not care only about collecting money to your insurance, it requires vocation and not only preparation to handle jobs like this. People's health is not a game, you can make a follow up report to the FDA if necessary and with your medication vouchers you can follow up on the report. read more

I called in the morning to make sure my proscriptions were ready and when I got here they still aren't ready 5hrs later. And there's 1/2 a dozen customers waiting. I don't get prescriptions filled very often but If you want a place that will mess it up and provide horrible service- this is the place! Driving back to Modesto. When we reach Visalia, my wife calls the pharmacy -- the absolute worst one in town, apparently -- to make sure her rx meds will be ready for pickup. Seriously one of the worst pharmacies you can ever go to. Drive-thru? Forget it! They are so unorganized, and will have you waiting hours. A car in front of me sat at the window for over 20min. Rather than asking the customer to loop back around, they let them sit there holding up the drive-thru line while they fill their orders. It's shouldn't be that way. If someone's prescription isn't ready, either have them come back later, or ask them to circle back around. Don't hold up the line. Max window wait time should be 5 minutes. Worst part is- when you wait an hour in the line, only to be told your order can't be filled until the next day. This has happened on multiple occasions, even though my moms prescription was confirmed ready. After this experience, I'm seriously having her switch pharmacies. First time using Walgreens Pharmacy. My doctor sent in a prescription and it was ready in 30 minutes. I received and automated phone call that it was ready and had no issues picking it up when I arrived. Staff was courteous and friendly. I will continue to use this Walgreens for my pharmacy needs. Thank you Walgreens! The sun had already set and it was dark...My only complaint is not enough lighting outside the entrance to the store. I would give them zero if possible. They keep messing up my prescriptions every month, I'd have to fight to get them corrected. This last time, my doctor sent a three month prescription that they would fill one month at a time due to shortage. They wouldn't fill the third month blaming on insurance. When my insurance called them with me on the line, we waited over 20 mins being transferred to 4 different people. We asked to speak with the manager, Corinna, said there's no one else we can speak to, she's the only person who can help us, a pharmacy tech/ in charge of operations. Corinna would interrupt and speak over my insurance person every time she tried to speak, saying she's here to help the patient. I told her I am the patient, she then would speak over me. She tried to sound smart and talk down to us but didn't have any knowledge of the medication and was wrong. We ended up having to end the conversation with her because it wasn't going anywhere. She wouldn't check my prescription like we asked and just kept arguing. 5 minutes after the conversation, my insurance person receive a request from Walgreens to fill the prescription! Keep in mind its thankgiving eve and the store is really busy and the line is crowded already. I used to love this Walgreens! They had the best customer service, pharmacy techs & pharmacists!! The service there has gone drastically downhill!! Every time I check online or call to see if my meds are ready, it will/they will say yes or give you a time, but when I get there, it's always not done! You would think since you've been taking meds for decades & you've been with them that long they would know what meds to stock! Every month it's the same, the meds are out of stock!! Why?? Every month!!?? So if you're taking a controlled substance, you will have to suffer till they can fill your medication!! You can't get it filled at another pharmacy or another branch!! Why? This has to be the most incompetent and inefficient pharmacy I have ever known. However, I am giving this a higher rating because of management's response to my complaint. Here is my story: On September 4, I came in to get my scheduled flu shot. I mentioned to the staff that I had another appointment to get my Covid shot on September 7, but they mentioned that they may not have it in stock by then and to call them first on that day to see if they have it. This was all despite the fact that I was able to make an appointment for the updated omicron booster! fast forward to the morning of September 7: I tried calling them, and getting a hold of somebody in the pharmacy is practically impossible! While waiting on hold, the system hung up on me twice, and one time it took me directly to the survey without letting me talk to anyone. I requested a call back and got it, but when I spoke to someone, I was transferred back to the pharmacy and had to wait on hold for an additional 15 minutes anyways! When I finally got to talk to someone, I was told that they did not have the vaccines and they did not know when they were going to get in stock. I asked to speak to the pharmacy manager due to my frustrations with the phone system, but I was told that they did not have a pharmacy manager (which doesn't surprise me considering how this pharmacy is run), so I was put through to the store manager. Of course, when I was transferred, I was hung up on again! I called back and spoke to a store manager by the name of Rafael. Needless to say, Rafael restored my faith in customer service. Had it not been for Rafael, I would give this pharmacy zero stars if it were possible on this app. He was just as frustrated with the pharmacy as I was, and he told me he would go back and talk to them. He also told me he would check in on the vaccines and call me back when he found out any information. I received a call back from him, and he told me that he would have them in the following morning after 10 AM. The following day, I was able to get my Covid vaccine. read more

I don't know what happened, but it seems that the Pharmacy never has the right number of people to service the customer needs. There was a person that I believe her name was Amy that was the best person to assist customers, and she seemed to really care. Something is wrong. Being one of other pharmacies near Doctors Hospital, it would seem that they would ensure customer service is expeditious, forget being friendly. If the bottom line is the concern, I would venture to guess that their market share could be a lot better if the service improved. read more

I gave it ONE STAR because I could not review without. I would give it a negative 10. On Tuesday, 03/07023 I saw my Doctor who ordered antibiotics. As I was walking out of the office I received a notification that Walgreens had received the order. I checked the website 3 hours later to find out if the medications were ready to be picked up. Website stated the order was "in process." I know from past experiences that sometimes they will expediate the order if I call. I call and after knowing the correct procedure I and after a wait was able to talk with a representative who was several miles away. That Individual stated the order was in process. I informed her that I was aware of that and needed to know when the order would be ready for pick up. The rep stated she would connect me with the Pharmacist. The phone rang 37 times and was never picked up. I called back and followed the process to talk with a live representative. I voiced that I was concerned because obviously I needed the medication of 0kthe Doctor would not have ordered. I told her the issue of 37 rings before giving up. She suggested I call the store and talk with the manager. I tried that however, there was not a manager on duty, and I ended up talking with a shift lead. I explained my concerns re needing the medications and that the pharmacy would be closing in an hour. She stated she would put the call on hold and pick it up in the Pharmacy. Instead, I got caught up in the ringing phone that was never answered. I call back again and talked with another person who claimed there were Second Shift Lead. She seemed concerned and took my phone number stating she would go to the pharmacy and research the problem and call me back. It is now 46 hours since Walgreens stated they had the order. I did not receive any callbacks and I do not have my medications. Now I will start the phone journey from robot to representative who in not in the area to the wait time on the phone at the pharmacy. He was rude, talked over me, and abruptly put me on hold after I explained twice what had happened (nurse forgot to put the date on the Rx so they couldn't fill it until I called the doctor-which I did hours ago) Came back on the phone a few minutes later and said curtly, "We found your Rx, it'll be 45 minutes to an hour." I had to go to the gift aisle & get a gift bag just to have something to hold my items. I also had 2 of the 3 dollar off coupons & was told I can't use both at the same time or combine with points, so we separate into 3 purchases to use them. But I WORK at a walgreens & I know you can use both, my coworker literally rang me up a few days prior and I used a discount coupon & points. I have over $50 points and I wanted to get rid of some but since she didn't let me I ended up only using $4 points on the 3rd transaction. This is by far the worst Walgreens on the planet!! These guys could screw up flipping a light switch. They're either always out of stock, blame the doctor for not calling your script in (even though you watched the doctor call it in before you left your appointment) or it will take six days to get your script found and filled.
