    Got here and they told me I'm paying 2 months rent for 9 days. After my truck is all ready here and wasted all my time.

    I moved here from another storage facility, and I could not be more pleased…read more I will give you my pro tips first: 1- Expect to spend about an hour doing the paperwork, getting the tour and having the rules and procedures explained, etc 2- you can bring your own padlock, but if you do not, you will need to pay $14 to get a lock for the facility. You cannot come back with your own padlock later. I pass 4 other storage facilities on the way to this unit. It is worth the trip. Manager Theo And everyone else inside the office and out are attentive and courteous. The place is immaculate, I have never seen such a pristine storage facility. The bathroom as well. Customer receives a unique code to access the facility. You drive your vehicle in, and park on the right (see video). There are large lifts that you can put your items onto; they bring them up to the floor that your unit is on (assuming it is not on the first floor). You can then take the stairs or the elevator to retrieve your items. Unlike my last place, where you had to wait and/or argue with other customers for use of a dolly, there seem to be enough for everyone, and you check them out in the office. I was driving a U-Haul, and they helped me get in and out, which is above and beyond in my book. All around a great experience. I would highly recommend, especially if you have been underwhelmed by other options in the area.

    This was my first time hiring movers and J & G Moving exceeded my expectations! The move went so…read moresmoothly that I highly recommend them. I price-compared a ton of NYC moving companies and J & G gave me a competitive moving quote. Additionally, the building I was moving into required a certificate of insurance (COI) and J & G was able to offer it for me for free. A lot of other companies charge for this. Before moving, I communicated with them via email and they always responded promptly and were very clear about what their moving package included. The day of the move, they called and asked if it was okay if they came an hour early. They were very communicative with me during the whole move. The lead guy (forgot his name!) assessed how many things I had and then discussed with the other 2 men on how to efficiently approach the move. The 3 men were over 6' tall and strong, and they were able to finish my whole move in a little more than 1 hr! I did not have anything that was easily breakable but the men treated my things with care. They provided blanket and shrink wrapping for all of my furniture. Everything was loaded up into their truck very quickly. These guys wasted no time. When I arrived at my new apartment building, they had already started unloading my things. I had my boxes labeled with what was inside (i.e., kitchen supplies, shoes, jackets) and they actually placed each box in the corresponding room. Best of all, there were no hidden fees. They ended up not charging me a processing fee that was included in the quote and gave me $40 off my quoted price. The movers were so friendly, communicative and professional, I will definitely be using J & G Moving again! I also wanted to note that on the day of my move, the street I was moving from was blocked due to construction. J & G movers did not complain or make any mention of that until I had stepped outside of my apartment building and noticed it. These guys provide excellent customer service and I was very impressed by them.

    From $268 to $478 - Predatory Price Hikes with ZERO Loyalty…read more I've been a tenant at this storage facility since January 9, 2022. My starting rate was $268.49/month. As of June 2025, I'm being charged $436.00/month, and next month they've already informed me the new rate will jump to $478.00. Let's do the math: From $268.49 to $478 in 42 months is a $209.51 increase. That's a 78.1% spike -- nearly double what I started paying. Average increase: $4.99 every single month, like clockwork. This isn't inflation. This is a predatory pricing model designed to squeeze loyal customers slowly over time, hoping we won't notice. They also refuse to offer yearly contracts, which means: You can't lock in your rate They can (and do) raise your rent as often as they like You have no protection from these constant hikes You'd think being a long-term tenant would earn you stability or appreciation. Instead, they treat you like a cash machine--no loyalty, no reward, just relentless, creeping increases. Ask yourself: Would you sign up knowing your rate might nearly double in 3 years with no warning? I'll be posting my receipts to back up every number. Avoid this place at all costs and places like this. They are not transparent, not fair, and clearly not interested in customer retention. They're interested in draining your wallet quietly and systematically.

They explained procedures to me, and I also observed them helping other customers with courtesy and professionalism, showing them units, etc. Pro tip: make sure you know how many steps are involved with reaching your unit.     If I could give zero stars for lack of customer relation skills by this Young Lady who said Her…read morename was "Annalise" I called to pay My Elderly Mother's bill one day late as it's been Alil overwhelming for Us We moved Her 10 hours away to Buffalo and decided to store Her things here. We were one day late and got stuck with a $45.89 late fees. I decided to atleast try to get the fees waived due to it not being intentional. This Woman just said 'NO'.. with no empathy not even caring to explain. So after the shock of plain no I continued to try to explain... She had no interest. I was in disbelief. So I said one day late She said yes She dies not have the authority to do so. I rhetorically asked so there's no one who could wave the fee? She said no with not even a explanation. (What She didn't know is that I've used them before and non of the Staff behaved this way I even used them in Virginia all because of My experience at this location) Anyway She paused and just hung up in My face. Plain out rude. I called back immediately, I said You hung up in my ear.. she said She could not hear Me.. how convenient. I told Her I want to pay the bill. She got the numbers then to frustrate Me She claimed She didn't hear the card number... now How do You get to the end of a transaction then say Tou didn't get the first part.
