First off making the reservation was so easy online and even when I call for customer assistance I was help. Second once I had done the reservation and was ready to store my things we go to the place and the lady at the front was so nice and she tock time to teach me how to use the app and everything can remember her name but she was very amazing.we got to the storage unit and place our stuff inside wich was the perfect size for us just one thing I was wonder if it gets wet because there was a wet spot inside but over all we love it so far. read more

I have only been there for four months, I don't care how nice it is, they're trying to jack my rent up about 20-25%. that's insane! Had never rented a storage space before and was highly impressed with the ease and efficiency of selecting and booking a space using the app. When arriving at the facility I was again impressed by the order and cleanliness of the place. So, I moved the bulk of my belongings out of storage this past Saturday into my new apartment building downtown. What I didn't expect to bring with me was a mouse, that I now can't seem to locate in my new place. Aside from that, all of my belongings were littered with little pincher bugs. I literally had to clean everything (a whole house worth in boxes) with bleach and lysol. The mouse had eaten through a good amount of the boxes and also left quite a few droppings throughout all of my things. Totally gross. You get what you pay for, I guess. read more

This storage facility is good and provides all the services necessary with good customer service. There isn't anything that screams great, and I've not had any problems either! It is fairly conveniently located and is relatively competitively priced. Remote access from the app works most of the time as I've only had to use the gate code a couple of times. I suggest keeping your access code handy, like in your phone notes or something in the event you're ever locked out of your app though. Still and yet. I have nothing negative to say about this facility, and it meets expectations but doesn't exceed them. read more

I just rented a 5x10 Unit. I called to reserve a unit on Sunday and was quoted a price that was only available that day, but I couldn't get to the unit till Tuesday. They still honored it. Rare in this day in age. The property manager and Irene, the wonderful desk attendant, were both accesible by phone prior to my move in to avail me of any concern. Upon arrival, Irene made me feel welcome, and like I had made the right decision for my rental needs. The feeling was only amplified as I continued the registration process. I have used multiple storage properties, both PS and other companies, and without a doubt it was the fastest and most courteous experience to date. The property is set up for customer ease. All of my obligations, as to locking the unit and abiding by the contract were carefully and respectfully explained. The unit was clean, along with the elevator and hallway. Irene answered all of my MANY questions with patience and respect. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND. read more

I did a ton of research to try to find the lowest rate. I was happy to find this location only 10 minute drive from my home at only $107 a month plus tax. While I did have some confusion regarding waiving the insurance with the guy who signed me up, we finally got that straightened out and I eventually got the overcharge to my following bill. HOWEVER, after being in there for six months, I received a card in the mail saying they'd be raising my monthly fee by $22! That is a 21% increase!!! I was not only surprised by the amount, but that they were raising it at all since at sign up I received a payment schedule laid out for a whole year showing no increases. When I called about this raise in the rental fee, I was reminded that paragraph 2 says it is a month to month rental and that they can raise the fees at any time, bringing them into the market rate level. I feel misled and manipulated. They got me into the storage unit with a low rate, only to JACK up the rates 6 months later! While the location manager was very nice as was the regional manager, it was only her boss, John Moughan, who had could reduce the rate. John Moughan has not called me back, nor at the assistance of the regional manager. We will be moving out at the end of this month! read more

This is my husband and I's first experience renting a storage unit, and we are glad we chose Public Storage. I made an online reservation and received a phone call shortly after from Irene to confirm the reservation and set up a time for us to come see the unit and sign the lease. Irene was very patient and answered many questions I had with ease. I had to call back a few times for different reasons and each time Irene was very personable and welcoming. We arrived the day of our reservation and were immediately greeted by Reggie at the front desk. He was helping another gentleman, so he kindly told us he would be with us shortly which I greatly appreciate. Once Reggie was ready for us he thoroughly explained the lease terms and kindly answered all questions we had. He was very knowledgeable about all of the packing tools and options we had and made a couple great suggestions like putting scented dryer sheets into our mattress and couches to keep fresh as well as warding off the spiders/bugs. After doing some research online me and my father decided to head down to Public Storage on Hoyt Street. I was a little nervous as it was my first time having to rent a storage unit and I thought it was going to be very expensive. We arrived to Public Storage and an employee by the name of Irene helped us out with everything. She was very informative and took her time to listen to us and made the whole experience smooth and fast. I ended up using the unit for three months and when I had to move out it was as easy as 1,2,3. Thanks Irene for everything! Have been using this location for almost a year. It is pretty basic. Clean, friendly and accessible. ( just wish it was temperature controlled). Moved my furniture out and needed to downsize the storage unit. Javonia, the manager on duty was more than accommodating. She was able to find a unit on the same floor and in close proximity so that it was not a hassle to move my thing over. It took just a couple of minutes to complete the paperwork and I was done. Not only was it easy but Javonia was very nice, friendly and willing to help! read more

I recently took my things out of storage to find them stained, smelly, and found several boxes had been eaten through by mice (...oh and some dead ones still in them). I ended up having to throw most of my things away. The cost of storage (that gets higher and higher over time) was not worth it because in the end you'll need to spend even more to replace everything... Seriously gross. read more

Not just the cleanliness of the property, ease to get to your storage unit, or security but the staff....Reggie and Irene were incredibly helpful and kind. Imagine moving your entire family storage unit for 10 hours and showing up to two smiling faces. They truly care about helping you as best they can. Over the course of my life I have had 3 different storages at different companies. I have to say this experience at this Public Storage has been the most pleasurable. I made a previous reservation online prior to visiting the facility to obtain my unit.....when I walked in and said my name and asked if my reservation number was needed. Irene responded, "Good morning Ms. Brown, no I don't need the number I have you r paper right here and you're all set." Then Irene explained the units and was concerned that the unit I preserved was too big for what I was going to store. That made me feel really comfortable, because her concern was why spend more monthly than hat I actually would need. Then while Irene was helping me, Doug walked in and immediately greeted me with a hand shake and introduced himself and once Irene finished explaining, Doug said he would give me a tour of the facility and the actual unit I would be renting. Doug was very patient and covered all grounds and answered every question I had thoroughly and I had many. Once we got back to the office and I made the decision to move forward with the unit, I then was introduced to Reggie who handled the leasing agreement. Reggie as well, very patient and knowledgable of all the products available and the facility. Reggie suggested material that I should use to pack some of my things, and which I did purchase. The signing of the lease went really smooth and then Reggie made sure my code worked properly and that I understood everything that went with leasing my unit. No let me add that today, the very next day after leasing a unit from here, Irene personally called me to ask how I was and if there was any other questions or help that I needed. I thought that was EXCEPTIONAL. This particular facility has a great team that works well together under the supervision of Doug. I'm big on customer service being a business owner myself of 19 years. This facility definitely gets a 10+ in my book. I will recommend you guys to everyone. read more
