When I spoke to the manager (Joe, I believe) and told him how Public Storage tripled my monthly payment in a year, he reassured me that would not be the case here and he informed me that the most he has seen an annual increase is no more than 10%. February 2026 the rent increased to $103.ish, 71.7%. Needless to say, I contacted the facility and Joe, the manager I initially spoke with and established an account with was not there and a new female manager was in place. I explained the situation to her, she said she would go to corporate...nothing happened. April 2026, I received another notice of rent increase "due to increased expenses".....Now, the new rent is $183.31. I have no words. My rent went from July 2025 $68.75-April 2026 $103-June 2026 $183.31 IN LESS THAN ONE (1) YEAR. Serious concerns about management conduct and business practices. Pricing and terms presented at move-in were not honored, and key details were misrepresented. Subsequent rate increases were significant and inconsistent with what was communicated upfront. Attempts to resolve the issue have not resulted in a fair outcome. Proceed with caution. Get all terms in writing and verify pricing policies before committing. This reflects my personal experience.
