I called CubeSmart and the gentleman who answered could not have been more helpful, patient and focused on helping me find a reasonably priced solution. We arrive at CubeSmart where Rick immediately comes outside to greet us BY NAME and welcomes us, provides a quick tour and tips - even gives us water bottles. Rare in this day in age. The property manager and Irene, the wonderful desk attendant, were both accesible by phone prior to my move in to avail me of any concern. I have used multiple storage properties, both PS and other companies, and without a doubt it was the fastest and most courteous experience to date. The property is set up for customer ease. All of my obligations, as to locking the unit and abiding by the contract were carefully and respectfully explained. The unit was clean, along with the elevator and hallway. Irene answered all of my MANY questions with patience and respect. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND.

They went from 3000 square feet to a 10x10 storage unit and Tim's guys got the job done painlessly. My parents were extremely overwhelmed by the move (I mean, my 6th grade art project was still floating around in the attic) but the move itself was the easiest thing they had to do throughout the whole downsizing process. Tim's guys even dismantled their solid mahogany bedroom set, drove it to my brother's house, and reassembled it there for him. Their fee was extremely reasonable and they got the job done with time to spare which was so appreciated because it also happened to be the day of the first December snow storm! Phew! I'll also add that my parents are in Rockland so although they are in Westchester there were no issues in services in another county. Paint is peeling off the sides of the hallway. Customer Service - is there any? It's a hit or miss whether or not the access key to get in after hours is going to work or not. I haven't been able to get important things when I needed them. The numbers they give you to call don't work - no one responds and don't even bother with email. Temperature control - we are on the third floor and for years I have been asking them about the temperature control. The first floor, the floor they probably tour, has excellent air-conditioning to an extent. Third floor has so much humidity and heat I had paintings that rolled up. The thermometer on the third and first floor were not working today so I pulled the second floor one off the wall and brought it upstairs and the temperature instantly went up. First floor is as cool a cucumber. Second floor decent. Understanding that heat rises, we are paying for a "temperature controlled" unit, which is very false. Since it's Stamford and you have the option to put your valuables in any of the thousands of storage Units - go elsewhere! By the way - they NEVER respond unless it's a good review.
