I was very impressed!…read moreI probably sent about 6 requests for quote out to different companies and Lynn at Express Haulers was the first to call me within a minute of sending the request, and the only one persistently following up with me. I told every company that we have a small move as we had been moving things little by little by ourselves, only Lynn provided me with the lowest minimum hours and competitive pricing. When I said I would get back to her, I appreciated her persistence in following up. They estimated 2.5 hours of work and Carlos and his team did a great job efficiently moving things, only took 30 more minutes than they estimated. They also didn't have any hidden charge for wrapping material for couch etc. My husband at the receiving address said they were very careful with our newly renovated home, the floor, the wall etc as they moved and assembled furniture. After the move, the owner Diego himself reached out to check in and asked for feedback. As somebody running a business myself and working with business owners, I really appreciate how they run their business, the efficiency, the flexibility and the care. The crates stack up very neatly, unlike cardboard boxes, and are much easier for the movers to move. The drop-off and pick-up were punctual and flexible. We originally booked for two weeks - took one week to pack, two days to unpack. BoxUp was able to pick up the crates early and get them out of our way. Reuben did the drop-off and pick-up and was very professional. BoxUp also conveniently offers other packing material to be delivered with the crates. The green wrap was perfect for small pottery pieces, and the bubblewrap was great to protect art. Looking forward to booking BoxUp again when we have to move!

I called the day before we needed to move it, and got lucky that they had a cancelation and could squeeze us in with 1 days notice. The unit was heavy and awkward and had to go down some steep stairs into a basement. The movers handled the job professionally and got the machine into the basement with no damage to the machine, the house, or themselves. That was quite an accomplishment!!! If I had one concern about All My Sons it's their failure to clearly communicate pricing and liability limitations. I was told that their minimum charge is 2 hours. It's actually 2 hours plus travel time. And, I wasn't told that their liability limitation is 60 cents per pound. That would have come out to $240 for a $1500 appliance -- definitely not enough to replace the appliance if something had happened. I might not have hired All My Sons if I'd seen this. We got lucky.

He wrapped it in plastic, loaded it into a clean van, & not only did he drop it off but he delivered my old sofa to a friend. All for the price of one trip to my house. He was HALF the cost of anyone else. Restoration Hardware uses a team that charges SO much more. He was super easy to communicate with via text, with a copy of the conversation in the Yelp app. My friend asked me how I could trust someone randomly to pick up and deliver my couch, but I did & it really worked out. They are professional, efficient, mostly careful with belongings, and consistently helpful. If I could hire the movers themselves, I would; they are the strongest part of this company. Unfortunately, the claims/ and most customer service experience is the complete opposite, and it has reached a point where I would hesitate to use Clutter again. My original (close-out) appointment was cancelled because Clutter attempted a second authorization on my card without notifying me despite the fact that all fees had already been paid. I keep my cards locked due to past fraud, so the lack of communication directly caused the cancellation. When I contacted the claims department, the responses I received were unprofessional, templated, and dismissive. Instead of acknowledging this, the representative by the name of Dayane responded with, "I'm sorry that you felt the need to..." - a phrase that is inappropriate, unprofessional, and shifts blame onto the customer rather than addressing the company's actions. To make matters worse, when the issue was escalated, the next representative, used the phrase "from your perspective." As someone who has worked in customer service for most of my career, I know the difference between neutral language and dismissive, liability‑shielding language. Phrases like "your perspective" or "you felt the need to" are not neutral - they minimize the actual issue and place the burden back on the customer. This is not how I was trained to speak to customers, even in difficult situations, and it's concerning to see it used repeatedly as part of their standard script. To be fair, Karoll did offer to schedule a call, and I appreciated the willingness to follow up. But the fact that it took escalation to receive a basic level of professionalism only highlights the inconsistency and lack of training within the claims/customer service team. Clutter has a great concept and outstanding movers, but the claims/customer service department needs serious improvement. Until that happens, the customer service experience - not the movers - is the reason I would think twice before using Clutter again. BTW - A clothing rack and several of my bins were returned broken

With a 4-5 man crew, I was amazed at how fast and efficiently they were able to work. After an almost 2-hour move out (stairs and a stoop) they moved my stuff into my new apartment in 1 hour! Working with Robert always includes personal attention to your concerns, needs and special items. And he's always thorough with close attention to detail. And the crew is friendly and just cool to work with.
