I contacted the manager at the Thornwood location directly, and even they were unable (or unwilling) to help me, simply giving me the same phone number every other representative has provided. Anytime you call this number, you are never able to speak to an actual person--you are sent straight to an answering machine. Since July 12, I have called this number 6-7 times, left detailed voicemails, and have never once received a call back, voicemail, or email. My most recent rent increase went into effect today despite my repeated efforts to speak with someone before it happened. This is not just poor customer service--it is blatant disregard for the people who keep this company in business. StorQuest seems to have no problem taking more money from long-term customers while making it nearly impossible to reach anyone in a position of authority who can actually resolve an issue. The lack of accountability, transparency, and basic respect for customers is unacceptable. I will be moving my rental unit to another facility and strongly advise others to think twice before trusting StorQuest with their business.

Supposedly, somewhere on this busy website they list lead times - but not on the ordering page. Here is the sarcastic and inappropriate response I received from their customer service: "It appears that you do not wish to take any responsibility for your actions - i.e., placing an order with so little time before your event on a holiday week and not reviewing the clearly posted processing times nor our clear cancellation email - both Rush Processing and Expedited shipping were offered directly on the checkout page - processing time is highlighted twice - once in bold on the item page. By your argument, should you choose to operate your vehicle well in excess of any posted speed limit, the fault lies elsewhere since the manufacturer created a vehicle that could exceed the speed limit." A simple solution to the problem, along with an apology for the issue, would have been standard. DO NOT use PODS. Spend the extra money and book someone who will show up on time and hold their…read moreagents accountable for good, timely service. PODS does not share with their customers that you should not plan to move on the same day that your POD is delivered (in the event of "unforeseen" delays). I can't think of a situation where that would be a value proposition to the customer. My wife and I are giving one star because we were assured that hiring movers on the day of our POD delivery would be no issue. On the day of our move, however, the delivery was delayed by four hours without warning or notice and caused us to incur fees from our movers. PODS won't hold themselves accountable and won't acknowledge any error on the part of their agents. But don't take my word for it, read the other one-star reviews where PODS doesn't show up for hours, sometimes days after they were scheduled. I have escalated my case to the Better Business Bureau and recommend that others do the same. The single star in this review goes out to the driver, Carlos, who was friendly, helpful, and dropped the POD when and where he was told to (no one ever told him we had been originally scheduled for earlier in the day). The rest of my experiences with PODS have been exclusively negative. Would not recommend.
