They both took great care to make sure my items were protected when loading out of my apartment and onto the truck and even helped me pack many items that I hadn't packed by the time they arrived. If ever do another long distance move again, I would love to work with both of them again. Kourtnea Stevenson

Moving crew took pictures as did I. I emailed company my pictures and I called. I was told a claim would be opened. We paid the insurance fee to this mover and I don't know if they will honor their insurance commitment ever.

They loaded the truck in 40 minutes and were done unloading at the new place within the next hour. All the furniture was wrapped well and they also brought some wardrobe boxes to use for my clothes. The whole process beforehand was super easy, too. The office was friendly and diligent and they let me know about all the extra costs that could come up during the move. I ended up buying my own tape and had some large plastic wrap, so there were no extra costs at the end. I would highly suggest you use these guys!!

Kenny & Jose were so kind to volunteer their services to assist us (at no charge) and moved my son's Queen Mattress from the U-Haul up to the 27th floor. I had to force them to accept my small tip $ of appreciation. Thank you very much Kenny, Jose as well as their boss Harry.

Combined with the lack of accountability and overall experience, we no longer feel comfortable recommending them. We were doing a move that did not require a moving truck (we were moving between condos in adjacent…read moreproperties), and hired Bara to help move our large/heavy items that we could not move ourselves. Unfortunately, things did not go as well as I had hoped. The movers were delayed in arriving. We have a larger than normal couch, and they attempted to bring it in the front and it did not fit, and in the process significant damage (scuffed, scraped walls, damaged light fixture) was done, as well as wasted time. Other more typical minor damage, however much of that was just from sloppy work. These are things I would not expect from experienced movers. While on-site I negotiated for extra time to finish moving the items that we needed help with, however upon reflection that really only made up for poor decisions on the part of the movers (not bringing the couch in the back, and not labeling dresser drawers and then spending a lot of time to figure out which one goes where). In the end, I will spend more time and almost as much money fixing all the damage as I did for the move. I did contact Lansana after I was fully aware of the extent of all of the issues, and offered what I thought was a fair deal to make things right, but he refused to make any refund at all. On the plus side, Lansana has been responsive to communication and polite in all correspondence. I will say the up-front price was reasonable compared to other movers, but more costly than using hired hourly work. For myself, the mark of a business is what they do when things go wrong, and unfortunately despite all the things that did go well (and we are moved in), I think they missed the mark here.

They walked through the space, asked smart questions about my cooking habits and daily routines, and came up with a layout that actually makes sense.
