The gentleman who helped me out here with getting a vehicle out and back into storage today was the epitome of customer service. He was busy when I walked in but still greeted me and set an expectation. He even stayed a few minutes longer than he needed to for me. I had a terrible experience at a different location and have been hesitant when working with CubeSmart but I was very pleased with my experience there today. I had the BEST experience at CubeSmart 407 E 25th St. yesterday. Both Rodney and Marsha provided outstanding customer service and were very kind and helped me secure a perfect space for my belongings. CubeSmart is clean and well maintained, and I feel safe there and so glad that Bernard Movers recommended them to me. Thank you to Rodney and Marsha for making my day and making me feel comfortable about securing my belongings at their CubeSmart. Yesterday was a stressful moving day, and Rodney and Marsha were wonderful; I look forward to seeing their smiling faces again. I did not know that this facility existed. We were referred here and I must say that I was impressed by LaShawn who greeted us and then introduced us to the GM Rodney. On the second visit to solidify the storage agreement, Tiffany met with us and very patiently showed us the units. We are very impressed with her excellent customer skills and ability to handle a minor issue we encountered. CubeSmart is a very clean and exceptionally maintained establishment. I really like this place. We left Chicago after 11 years and decided to leave most of our things in storage. This is mostly due to our uncertainly about what's next in our lives. So we have about 2 bedroom 2 baths worth of furniture and belongings. The first thing to note is when we called the receptionist was super friendly and when we visited the storage facility and we were met by a yet another very friendly and knowledgeable staff person. I mention this as most people seem to act like they are doing you a favor by giving them your business. I appreciate courteous employees. Anyway, she showed us around the facility (which was very clean) and assured us. We pay a monthly fee of around $100+ but more importantly have total peace of mind. read more

From the time I reached Tyrell at the toll free number, to visiting the location, I received customer service second to none, in comparison to other neighborhood storages I contacted. After deciding to downsize, I visited the location right off 25th King Drive.The customer service provided by Rodney (mngr) and John was very warm and personable. With the information and details provided, it made me feel I could trust leaving most of my life's possessions there. In addition to that, the entire facility (all indoors) is really clean and more upgrades are going on to make it more modern. Also, I knew I was receiving stellar customer service when John called me to inform of an error I made with my lock. It's a certain way it has to go on, and I left it compromised. I had my unit broken into at this location. Despite the so called 24hr surveillance and security, some hoodlum(s) easily cut through the flimsy mesh roofing on my unit and helped themselves to my items (see photos). As some of these were rather large, including a 47inch tv, it must have taken them sometime to do it. I would advise not to store any item of value at this location as it seems monitoring and safety is non-existent for at least some units. Fortunately insurance covered some of the items but I lost some irreplaceable items of sentimental value. After the theft, I switched to an identical unit and was promptly charged a higher monthly fee. So much for customer service. I moved my things out of the facility as soon as I could. The whole affair left a sour taste in my mouth and I will probably not use Cubesmart in the future. read more

Had a great experience at the Cubesmart in the south Loop.Not only were the staff all very friendly and helpful.They went to great lenghts to finding me the exact storage space I needed at the price I was looking for.We went around looking at about 3 units until we found one that suited me PERFECTLY.Im a kayak angler and keep my kayak as well as all my fishing gear near Lake Michigan.So having everything there without having to go thru a nightmare getting everything in and out without breaking my back is a HUUUUGE plus.They have an elevator that I can get my kayak into from the basement to the first floor without having to carry everything up flights of stairs or anything crazy.This elevator is HUUUUGE.Fits my kayak,cooler,fishing poles,dive gear and whatever else I can possibly nead and still has room to spare.What a LIFESAVER.Last storage place I had to carry everything up and down 6 flights of stairs everytime I wanted to go kayakfishing due to those teeny weeny elevators.Im NOT giving up my storage unit anytime soon.NOOOO WAAY!!! I feel BLESSED that they were able to help me find the PERFECT unit to fit my needs.Totally recommend!!!! read more

I finally moved recently , checked on my furniture and everything was in great condition. I loved the great customer service exhibited by John and Rodney. I made an online reservation via "FindFastStorage.com". On my scheduled move in day I simply went into the front office and met J. Griffin - he was awesome. Gave me a quick tour, we completed the paperwork in about 10 minutes, explained any last minute questions I had and I was free to move in. Seriously, quick and hassle free which I really liked. This facility is immaculate as it is brand new definitely a bonus in my book. Being it is in the city I figured parking when unloading my car may be a problem, but there are plenty of places to park without time restrictions by the door to make unloading your car simple. I am very picky as to where I was willing to store my thing and this by far surpassed all my expectations. Highly, recommended. read more
