Dinner Stop 2 on our Beaver Creek Conference trip was Sabor Mazatlan. As someone who truly remembers when Colorado had Mexican food to die for, I was really looking forward to trying this place. When we walked in we were greeted and sat immediately. The environment was warm and the aroma of the amazing food hit you AS SOON as you got in the door. The menu had an elaborate amount of choices and it seemed as though their Seafood was something they were known for. We did not try the seafood this go round, however we are looking forward to coming back and trying their Crab Enchiladas and other enticing items. The things we did have the pleasure of trying were the salsa and chips, jalapeno cheese sauce, a combination plate with a tamal and chimichanga and Sopes with Pork Carnitas.     Salsa and Chips 10/10 (not pictured)   The salsa was just how we like it, fresh and spicy and you could tell the chips were freshly made. The salsa had great flavor with a kick that was not overwhelming.   Combination Plate with Tamal, Enchilada, and Chimichanga and a side of Jalapeno Cheese Sauce 8.5/10   The meal came beautifully plated along with a side of beans, cheese, and rice. The Chimichanga was tightly wrapped and filled with delicious meat and other flavors. The enchilada was stuffed with ground beef and had a flavorful red sauce on top of it with the perfect amount of cheese. The tamal came with green sauce that we opted to have on the side. It was evident that the tamal was intended to have the sauce accompanying it as the flavor of the tamal on its own was not extremely powerful, but was still very juicy and had light flavor. The jalapeno cheese sauce was delicious and could have been put on anything - we do wish it was a bit warmer, but even a little cold it was still good!   Sopes  with Pork Carnitas 9/10   This was our first time trying Sopes so we were super excited to have them. They came covered in cheese and sour cream along with guacamole and a large helping of excellently marinated pork carnitas. Additionally the plate came with beans, cheese, and rice. The flavor of each of the foods featured on the Sopes melted together beautifully with each bite and even though there were only two - they were extremely filling.   The customer service was excellent, the food was fresh and came out quick, and our overall experience was quite enjoyable. We have already decided this will be a spot we frequent whenever we are in the area and are considering going back for lunch today.

    Burrito de Asada was delicious!

Great food! Very friendly service. Clean bathroom. Stopped here on the way to Aspen. Hopefully can stop here again.

I will say, this place seems as if you should only be a regular or of a certain race to come here. Because we are neither, we never were waited on until I finally stopped a waitress and asked if we could order. Every other server walked by, looked at us & walked past. The food was very bland, slightly pricey. I was excited to try as it seems very authentic but to put it frankly, we don't fit in here.

This restaurant was steps away from our lodge and we decided to give it a try for dinner. The portions are huge and the food tasty. My carnitas plate was delicious, the meat very flavorful. We both loved the complimentary salsa, too bad the margaritas were so disappointing. The house marg was sweet, the Kelly less so but both seemed to have very little tequila.

This was a very pleasant surprise to have just walked into this place and see that it was so small but unbelievably great food! We loved the dishes we each chose, which one was the shrimp tocos with crisp corn tortillas and a burrito. The service was good, it is a small family owned place from what I could tell

It was very difficult looking for a decent lunch spot in Beaver Creek. We just happened upon…read moreFiesta Jalisco because we ventured away from Hwy 6. With that, what's that iHop saying? The portions at Fiesta Jalisco are generous, even with the small combo plates. I ordered the Chalupa with black beans and rice and barely came close to finishing it. Mom had the Beef Tostada with pinto beans and rice and I was surprised such a small woman polished off her plate. The food here is good, the shredded chicken is much more flavorful than the beef. The Margaritas were top notch tho. Fiesta offers flavors like peach, mango, strawberry, and even huckleberry. We opted for Don Julio Silver and it was delicious. The Sopapillas were ok. Not overly sweet but not a fan of the extra whipped cream topping. Another bonus was that the telly's were broadcasting the Broncos game, so we didn't skip a beat there (and neither did the Broncos!) The down side: service and cleanliness. Food on the floor, under the tables, and the seat benches had rips and tears. It was hard to find a comfortable spot to dine. On top of that, our waitress wasn't super attentive. She did not offer water refills or second round of drinks unless we flagged someone down....when we could find someone. The ladies room is handicap accessible. Unfortunately it was lacking in the necessary supplies (soap and TP).

We weren't asked if we wanted it split - this made it $25, which was not worth it. I opted for the table side cacio e pepe which was super cheesey and also had delicious pork belly blended in. My husband had the burger which was 2 larger patties combined - we only wished it could've been cooked more medium rare because the flavor of the meat had so much potential! We weren't hungry for dessert but the table next to us got a unique mason jar dessert that looked like it was packed with chocolatey goodness. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with providing recommendations. We started off with the bread and fondue. The fondue was a big hit with our table, and the cheese was so tasty. The bread was also good, and had a nice unique taste. For mains I tried some of the following: -steak frites: delicious and cooked perfectly, and a huge portion of delicious fries -mussels: definitely a miss, and tasted a bit too salty and the sizes were pretty inconsistent -filet: amazing -mushroom ravioli: absolutely horrible, literally the worst ravioli I've ever had -cacio e pepe: sooo tasty, but tastes was more like carbonara vs a traditional cacio e pepe. I liked the presentation and really loved the pork too. I would definitely recommend sticking with the meats here, as the pasta and seafood were major misses (except the cacio e Pepe was amazing) Overall a solid option for a nicer meal, but not the greatest place ever.
