I ordered a Tito's lemonade. They brought me a Fanta-lemonade. Fixed it but charged me. White complimentary "queso" conglomerate was for sure just flour. Ordered a side of guacamole and it was sour. They took it off my check. I should have just left then. Enchiladas were on special. Great. Love those. Got em with a side of raw onion. Sautéed onion came on the side. Asked for check and wrote this review. I don't understand. If you come here for lunch, it is just awesome (minus the complimentary flour queso). Solid Mexican place with huge portions! We shared 2 entrees between 4 people and still had some leftovers! Service is a bit slow but the flavorful meat and cheesy food makes up for it. It's an okay restaurant but I'm not from this area. The taste old and reheated, beans and cheese is ok. Chimichanga is prepped nicely, wish it was a bit more crispy. Shredded beef was flavored well. 10/10 recommend The restaurant is a small room but the vibe is very busy and you can tell no one cares about your conversation LOL. Overall, I think it's a cool little spot to eat and chill. If you like burrito's with ALL meat & no rice/bean fillers, this is your place. Also, the seasoned pork burrito I ordered yesterday was HUGE. On top of that, it was several dollars less than the gringo burritos with cheap fillings available in town. It can be a little warm in the restaurant itself in summer, but there is a shaded patio. Good food. There was a white sauce with chips and salsa. Not sure what exactly was in it. But delicious. The enchilada are pretty average. My husband had crispy chili relleno very good. I had the tostada de ceviche. It was a bit much. Piled high. Taste was strong. Maybe a bit to much. I won't say it wasn't good though. The restaurant was a bit hot. SO DELICIOUS! My friend and I came here in the recommendation of a transport van driver we had. There was a branch close to our hotel in Vail, but we made the drive here and am so happy we did. We never made it to the branch near our place and were uncertain If it was a local chain. We found out they are connected when we saw the menu. The wait staff were incredibly nice and friendly. The food was happy-food-noise delicious! Free chips with salsa AND queso: WOW! Although the food just just okay, I am giving this place 4 stars because of the great value: the portions are HUGE. Honestly, I think the one super burrito is enough to feed 3 people. I ordered a medium margarita and it legit looked like an XXXL. Don't come here if you're not hungry and don't order a marg unless you're really ready to drink. Hidden from view, this small quaint and obvious local favorite will not let you down if you're looking for authothentic local Mexican food. Almost went to the diner before we found this spot, it is sort of hidden in the shopping center. I'd say it does not fit more than 30 or so, and there was a fairly steady stream of Hispanic and non Hispanic patrons coming in while I was there. We shared the shrimp cocktail (Mexican style of course which very different than the skimpy American counterpart). It was very good and served with the traditional crackers. We then shared the casa Mexico platter for two and shared it with 4....that was great and very satisfying. Great little gem. read more

Seriously tasted old and nasty, they were not fresh and tasted refried along with all their taco meat which by the way they don't use a Carne Asada cut of Arrachera. I know what Mexican food should taste like it's my culture. Way below average food that caters to the other culture to put it politically correct. Don't believe me?
