Oh man! We were looking for authentic Mexican food after being disappointed by many what I might call gringo style options we ended up settling on the days prior. We decided to take a chance here after driving past a few times and building up our courage as we knew we would most likely need to order in Spanish. I am so happy we did! The food was FANTASTIC and exactly what we were looking for. Fair priced real Mexican food being made to order right in front of our eyes. They had a few 3 tacos specials that day for I believe $6. My wife and I tried 2 different plates, one pork and one shredded beef served on homemade tortillas. Out of this world! We liked them so much we came back the next day and ordered 2 more along with a plate of bean and cheese pupusas to start. Again were super happy and the cook remembered us from the day before. We even had a little conversation about where we were from and how long we were in town for in Spanish. She was very friendly and she seemed to be really pleased how much we enjoined her cooking. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to step out the normal chips and salsa type "Mexican restaurants" they are accustomed to and give something real a chance. They also have a nice little condiment bar with tons of garnishes like jalapeno, cilantro, chopped onions, radishes and many many different spicy homemade salsas.

Small Mexican grocery store with a small restaurant. Its a hole in the wall and u get get more authentic than this. Food is fresh and delicious but the person working doesn't know English so i used Google translation. We had a chicken burrito, taco with beef tongue and dish made with rice beans, egg and chorizo ...all delicious.

    Chicken tacos!

This is a restaurant and market that only the locals know about. Great short order cooking of real Mexican food. Order in the market and then bring your ticket to the cooks and then you can watch them make your food. Today I had chicken tacos on fresh made corn tortillas with rice and beans.

This is the best Mexican food I've had in years. The place looks sketchy on the outside, but the food is great and the people friendly.

This is a great restaurant. Traditional Mexican food. It has the best Mole around. Don't forget to try the homemade Tres Leches cake!!

Server seemed like she was trying hard but not great service. Drinks were wrong, brought out the food and told us we were out of tortillas, probably should've told us that before we ordered let alone the food was brought out. The menu says "served with a side of rice and beans" but the waitress told us it did not, and we could add them for $8. It indeed did not come with rice and beans. Got the bill and it had the regular subtotal, and then a "non cash subtotal" which was a few dollars more. Honestly don't really leave reviews but I had not had such a poor restaurant experience in a long time. Bummer too, I had high hopes for a local place with 3 locations around the valley.

The lunch menu looked great and prices were super reasonable. However, I was craving some seafood so I ordered from the dinner menu. The whole fried fish did not disappoint! It was super meaty and you can tell that they don't use old oil. Only $21 for a huge portion, I was stuffed. The chips were fresh and my Cantaritos cocktail was also great. I'll be back! Thanks!
