The pork fried empanadas were freshly made and the shop is family run. The pork was under seasoned but the guac and salsa made up for it. For $10 you get a full meal with a little side salad and Spanish rice too. If it's sunny, the patio is nice. If not, get to go.

Trying to get to know the area since I'm starting a job at the jet center. I saw a little taco stand and was curious. I've never tried Beef Cheek before so I ordered some burritos. Absolutely delicious! The burritos were stuffed full of shredded beef cheek from end to end and a few shreds of lettuce and tomato. Burritos were spiced perfectly, enough to make my nose run but not painful so it didn't kill the flavor.

    Chicken!

Great burrito! I was walking by and smelled the chicken on the grill. I had to have lunch on the patio while I watched them grill.

    holy grounds.

Authentic Mexican Food. Brick and Mortar: Conveniently located about 2-3 minutes off I-70 (exit at Eagle) in a simple stand with a small tented eating area and a window at which to order "to go." Food: Stunning. Service: Fast, efficient and always with a grateful smile. I've lived in LA and New York and have made a point to try all the best-known taco places on and off the beaten path. So I'm living up in Eagle for ski season and I finally stop off at Primavera. And so it begins... The tacos ($1.50) are absolutely great. Light tortillas with meat, diced onions and chopped cilantro. The beef cheek is my favorite - succulent and spicy. Shortly after comes the tongue - rich and sweet - and the pork - crunchy outside and tender inside. The chicken is also very good. The tortas ($5.50) are probably the best tortas I've ever had in my life. Two grilled pieces of soft bread with guacamole, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and the meat of your choice. It is messy, mexican, omnivorous bliss. They are extremely filling. One note: do not plan to eat while driving, it is not safe. They also have homemade horchata and all your other favorite mexican beverages. And then comes the service. The food comes up quick, hot and ready to go. And is served to you with a smile. It's just perfect. (OH! and the red salsa that comes with any order has a great kick, but also a nice, fresh taste where you can tell it was homemade.)

Awesome food! Easy place to brig the kids and they love the food too! It's easy to find right off the Interstate and easy parking, too! Tacos, empenades, and burritos were on our menu for dinner. With seven of us it took about 15 minutes to get food, but it was delicious and well worth the wait! I will stop here every time I drive through Eagle. You know you hit the jackpot when the locals eat here, too.

    The best Mexican food!

We love this place this lil place! Have been coming for over 10 years. The food is always so good! The torta is my favorite! Make this a stop on your way from eagle airport to town!

They had fresh fire roasted Hatch Chiles! I stopped for a quick bite and the burrito was awesome! Bonus fresh chiles out front!

Carne Asada here is amazing most of the time. They do run out of it shortly after lunch. Staff speak very little English.

Good authentic style Mexican. We had to wait a while because there was only one girl working so that wasn't ideal but the food was good.

We poked around the store a bit and it definitely gave the feeling of not being in the valley anymore. Ultimately we came to eat though and so you go to the back and it's a very cafeteria feeling eatery back there. The ceilings are high, there are chairs and tables and extra inventory everywhere. Based on the menu, we ordered tacos, but they also had tortas, burritos and even off-menu menudo (next time). We got some drinks and ordered our tacos. They came out reasonably quickly and we're just absolutely loaded with meat. Almost like they had been punched out of a larger taco with a cookie cutter. I ordered the carne asada and chicharrone tacos while my wife got pastor and carne asada. I'd definitely be down to try all the other offerings. This meal was a great surprise. I'll definitely be coming back here again and again.

Order first, grab a soda from the many refrigerators on the wall and wait for your food. They'll stick your tray on the counter but don't call out that it is ready so if it's busy keep your eyes open. We ordered four kinds of tacos: Carne asada (steak) - it was tender enough and well cooked but seriously lacking in flavor compared to the others that we tasted. Chicken - decent tender chicken shreds albeit a bit plain. Chicharron - small pieces of crispy pork rind that right before serving in the tacos are tossed in a spicy tomato sauce. Very good but you have to eat this one instantly when served otherwise the crispy pork rind starts to get mushy and chewy. Very delicious sauce! Pork al Pastor - Seriously the best of the four. Normally al pastor are made with the pork cooked in layers on a vertical split and served with some pineapple. Since this isn't a very busy place they don't do the volume required for having that kind of spit and they cook marinated chunks of pork on the grill. The marinade was very flavorful and strong and I would order these again the next time we are in the area and decide to eat here. One of the folks in our group had the multiple meat hamburger. It had a beef patty, some baloney like meat, a grilled piece of ham, a split hotdog, and bacon! They have lots of Hispanic and Mexican soft drinks as well as Pepsi products but very little in terms of low calorie drinks. Just Diet Pepsi and then three or four versions of flavored, unsweetened waters like Topo Chico. A very good value relative to the ski town where we are staying.

I am normally a red sauce eater but the green (probably the weak Sendy) was really good. Not spicy but full of flavor. Service was excellent again. 1st visit: I've been in Colorado for nearly two weeks and this has probably been the best meal I've had so far, even after dining in Aspen (Clark's, Aspen Public House) and Boulder (Flagstaff, the Kitchen American Bistro). I love chorizo tacos and the ones here served with potatoes and fried egg with a side of chips and salsa was one of the best I've ever had and I think that's says a lot after living a lifetime in Texas. The hot dog was flavorful and probably a foot long. It was served with lightly salted french fries that reminded me if the ones my mom used to make me. The Bloody Mary was also very good and slightly spicy although it was only garnished with a lime and no olives. The place is very small, seats maybe a couple of dozen indoors but there is also outdoor seating. Service was very friendly.

I don't think it needed the egg. My daughter had the kids hotdog with fries. The fries were pretty good but cold. I had the Paloma and hubs had the margarita. They were good. Not an inexpensive place, but I'd eat the tacos again!
