I was traveling behind one of there trucks on April 3rd 2023. traveling west on highway 8, changed from the #1 lane to the #2 lane because of heavy traffic. I was already in the # 2 lane at least 300 feet back. Truck #450706 hit a large pothole and a several chunks of dried cement were knocked of the truck. On was so large you could miss it. I could not avoid the cement as the it broke up. Because both the #1 & 3 lanes were both occupied. The rocks & cement struck my truck and windshield. I have over 10 chips and stars on my windshield not to mention my grill and hood of my truck. I had my son lookup the company number and was told to call Gaby. The operator texted me with Gaby's. I left a voicemail and was not called back. This week i call gabby she said i should text her the pictures and my statement. I even have a witness, my 13 year old son. Upon sending in the pictures i get no reply. Then I finally get a reply. Were no responsible. Please call or text gabby at 619-855-0446 to let her know that you will not be using her company. please contact her or there company and make this right. Thank you, Michael, El Cajon, CA

Steve, the co-owner, was most patient and thorough in accommodating our needs, including drainage and lighting, and helping us think through the design and materials. The price was reasonable. JD, the project manager, was great, keeping us abreast of what was going on as the project proceeded. The crew--Jesse and Randal, Robert and Anthony--were likewise a pleasure to work with. The end product is a pleasure to look at, eliciting many positive comments from neighbors and thumbs-up from passers by.

This review concerns only my experience with Pacific Patio's bidding process. The proposal I received did not include any meaningful detail about the materials that would be used. When I asked specific questions--such as whether the support posts would be steel or aluminum--the salesperson refused to answer. Instead, he responded sarcastically, "Do you want me to tell you what kind of bolts we're going to use?" My answer is yes. The materials matter. The type of bolts, fasteners, posts, and other structural components affects the durability and safety of the finished product. Lower-quality hardware may perform differently under wind loads and over time, so it's reasonable for a customer to know what is being proposed. I repeatedly asked for a list of the materials that would be used, but the salesperson would not provide one. Without that information, I had no meaningful way to compare Pacific Patio's proposal with competing bids. Just as importantly, I would have had no clear basis for holding the contractor accountable if different materials were substituted during the project. The salesperson also became increasingly dismissive as I continued asking for this information. That lack of transparency and professionalism led me to award the project--worth approximately $100,000--to another contractor. I'm sharing this experience so that prospective customers know to ask for a detailed written description of the materials included in any proposal before making a decision.
