Be aware, this place was the worst experience i ever had in my life. Ive bought tile before, so it wasnt my first time or anything like that. The guy Gil, he has been working at this place for a good 20 years. He was very nice at first when the sales went down, obviously because he's a sales guy. When it came to actually picking up the tile i ordered, i was deceived, tricked, bamboozled, or whatever you want to call it. Please see the pictures uploaded. This is a classic "what i wanted vs what i actually received". What was on display is COMPLETELY different than the item we received. Gil and all the other employees were no help when I complained. When i first noticed, i went back as soon as possible and Gil was not there that day. His own coworkers told me this was not the first time a customer has experienced something like this and came back complaining about Gil lying or tricking customers (seems like they were sick of cleaning up Gil's messes). By the way, Gil told me he was the owner the first day I was there (probably so he can try to sell me more), so i thought he can help make things right. However, he lied about that too!! Turns out he is only the manager who didnt have much authority to even help out. I very much had a right to be angry and when i said i wanted to return it, they said theres a 25% restocking fee and kept pushing me to take store credit even though i bought everything i needed the first day i came here. Why would i want store credit when my remodel was pretty much complete? I ended up keeping the tile because my time was of the essence and i couldnt waste time returning it and buying from somewhere else. ALSO NOTE, I pretty much had to force them to take down the deceitful display tile because I didnt want anyone else to fall victim to their scam like I did. I will warn anyone and everyone about this place because it really was such a frustrating experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. If i could give 0 stars, I would. Do not come here! read more

Great Customer Service ...Stop by before you go anywhere else or after you visit all other place so you can compare for yourself. prices here are way lower then their competitors by A LOT and floors are better quality. You will find great variety/selection of floors available, they will deliver for a very reasonable price compared to other places ($40-200$)... And they will accept returns for unused material including floor tile and other supplies as long as it is unopened . Simply make sure to ask before you purchase your floor and material (basic question you all should ask before buying) ... I was hesitant to stop by due to other yelp reviews but I am happy I stopped by and will not go elsewhere anymore. I choose to buy my awesome floor from here because of they had what I wanted at a reasonable prices and return guarantee. Other places will try and tell you its special order on almost everything so that its a final sale. Not here. After scouring all of Orange County, San Diego, and online (we ordered lots of samples from places like buildirect.com), I don't think you can find tile more reasonably priced than this. We are in the middle of remodeling our deck and were shopping for tile when my husband found this place. They have a large selection of tile, stone, mosaics and so much more. Ours ended up costing around $2.50 sq. ft, a total of around $1,000. Unfortunately, our workers did a horrible job laying out the tile and we had to pop them all back up again. My husband called and explained to them what happened, and they were nice enough to give us a good deal when we had to re-order the tile. The customer service is excellent and they really care about you and your experience. I highly recommend this place and it's definitely worth checking out! read more

Walked in yesterday. looking for non-adhesive vinyl square tile. There was a guy at the desk, texting. To the said there was a football game on the TV set. I stood there for a minute. Now, a minute isn't long at all, but when you're the only customer there and the sales guy is just sitting, well, a minute IS long. I inquired about the tile. He got up saying the only tile we have is the plank over in the corner. He went over to point out where it was. That wasn't what I was looking for so I said "Can you help me out, man? Where can I find it? I'm having a hard time finding it." He just smiled and walked away, tending to his phone!!! If this guy is a sales person, I hope he gets fired. After being scammed and ripped off by my original contractor, I was losing hope that my house would be done before I took our planned family vacation to Florida soon. There was 2 weeks to get this done. I was left with a house with unfinished projects that needed a full bathroom upgrade, tiled baths upstairs and a complete laminate flooring of my entire two story house - I was in desperate need of a better, honest and reliable contractor as I was running out of time - and money.... In came my new contractor who took over my house upgrade - Mr. Daniel Valdez a contractor of Tile and Stone Force. I put my 100% trust in him to complete the projects in a timely manner. His rate was readonable and affordable. He did not disappoint me as he was able to meet all my expectations at completion. I noticed a big difference in work - they work fast but very careful and clean. Daniel showed the great professionalism and showed alot of dedication to his work in ONLY 2 weeks he worked on completion on my house. 2 weeks was all he needed to finish the job. His work is well done, ORGANIZED and ALWAYS has his workers clean up after a days work (my original contractor was messy and disorganized and left my house a total mess!)....I also am currently on vacation - stress free thanks to Daniel and his crew. Daniel will also approach you FIRST before doing any type of work that may need the house owner's approval. He will never assume things without your knowledge - he will always keep the homeowner updated as needed which I like (i.e. tile style, kitchen upgrade suggestions/recommendations, etc). Where do I start?? I had an awesome experience with them and was also referred to a great contractor named Daniel Valdez. He and his crew did the flooring (tile and laminate) for my whole house. This includes stairs as well. They did all I asked, the work was amazing and clean, the staff was fast and friendly, they fixed everything they could, and did extra at no cost just to make things right. Daniel also was very understanding of my needs and although he had his own family medical emergencies, he totally performed and got the job done and patiently answered my questions and fixed every problem I had addressed. Now for Rudy from Tile and Stoneforce...awesome awesome service! While my kids were screaming and going crazy he helped me with them and helped me choose the perfect tile and laminate. I walked in there with one in mind already and he suggested something else because I did not know that gray can show tones of blues, greens etc etc. thank goodness for his suggestion because the one I chose had a green tint to it that I would have hated in my house! I showed him a picture of my kitchen and told him I'm looking for backsplashes around $10/sq ft and ask if he can recommends any. He was very honest and said no he can't because everything is above my budget starting at $13/ sq ft. Purchased 5 boxes of tile. Got home and attempted to get a general idea of the layout I realized the pattern didnt match up. Brought the tile back and was told I needed to wait for Rudy the sales executive because he would be back in 5 min. Well 30 min later Rudy comes in and says that we cant return the tile on weekends and we need to bring them back on Monday between 7am to 3pm. ( the time when a normal person is working.) When i tried to explain that I couldn't because of work he rudely lectured me on how I should have called before I came over and also how he was helping me out but I needed to help myself too. REALLY!!! Seems this jackass has all the answers because his buddy who sat there while we waited said nothing about not returning tile on the weekends. This place is a joke. ***Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else***. Btw no returns on special orders but get this...they dont carry anything in the store so basically everything is special order. Gilbert helped us, and that is who I am recommending for this review. We went to the shop and needed a special order placed right away. The other guy that was there said no way, but Gilbert stepped in and said he thought it could be done. He took our order, called the driver that was coming down the next day, and asked him if he had any room left on his truck. He had barely enough room to get our full order on his truck. It was delivered next day. Their shop has a very large selection, but not alot in stock. If you can wait between 2 to 4 days for them to ship it down, they will beat most stores on their pricing. read more

DO NOT patronize this place. I purchased a shluter strip $21.00 . When I purchased the item explained it was for tile floor going into my garage. This wasn't the exact product I needed, which the salesman knew, but I purchased it just in case I couldn't find the reducer I actually needed. I did end up finding the proper reducer at Home Depot. About 2 hours later I returned to return this item which was never even unloaded from my car. The salesman saw me coming and proceeded to ignore me for the first minute. When I politely told him I found the proper reducer and would need to return this item he proceeded to lecture me about how he hated to return items because they "cost him money". I didn't respond and quietly sat at the counter for the next 12 MINUTES where he proceeded to type up an invoice on his computer for this return. Eventually he pulled $16 out of his pocket, hands it to me and gives me a receipt for my return minus a $5 restocking fee! Ridiculous and rude. All over a small return that he simply put right back on the floor when I left. If this is how they handle a minor sale for a small fee I would not like to see how they handle your large important purchase. Passive aggressive and rude. read more
