After scouring all of Orange County, San Diego, and online (we ordered lots of samples from places like buildirect.com), I don't think you can find tile more reasonably priced than this. We are in the middle of remodeling our deck and were shopping for tile when my husband found this place. They have a large selection of tile, stone, mosaics and so much more. Ours ended up costing around $2.50 sq. ft, a total of around $1,000. Unfortunately, our workers did a horrible job laying out the tile and we had to pop them all back up again. My husband called and explained to them what happened, and they were nice enough to give us a good deal when we had to re-order the tile. The customer service is excellent and they really care about you and your experience. I highly recommend this place and it's definitely worth checking out!

The crew works around your time, I had to schedule these guys a couple of times after 11:00 am due to my son's school activities. A pleasure to work with SD Dynasty!!!

We were told that we only needed two so we paid for those and immediately were told that we needed a third slab and they chose not to honor the rate for 3. Disappointing, but not a dealbreaker. We paid for them anyways. The main issue came in where we chose 3 slabs from a "batch" which all had the same numbers on them. I asked to make sure and were told that we were getting book matched slabs. Essentially, a left and right "shoe" that makes a pair so the fabricator can match veining properly when installing. When our fabricator showed up to pick up the slabs, they were sandwiched together so that they couldn't see the faces. Our fabricator also asked if they were book matched slabs to confirm before picking them up. SD Stone confirmed with the fabricator that they were book matched. So at this point: myself, the person with me, and the fabricator are all under the impression we are receiving book matched slabs. However, upon picking them up and arriving to the fabricators business, they found that they were not in fact book matched. Essentially, like the idea of coming home with 2 left shoes versus a left and right. We tried contacting the company and they insisted that both myself and the fabricator were informed correctly and that all sales are final and there was nothing they were willing to do. It was frustrating to deal with because it felt like both myself, the person with me, and the fabricator were being gaslit to believe that we were fully informed something that we were not. I'm sure they will respond here with their version of the story. Unfortunately, I personally would not recommend them after this experience.

Coast To Coast Restoration - Remodel completed 2023

    Coast To Coast Restoration

I recently completed a major renovation of my kitchen, master bathroom, and powder room following a…read morewater damage claim, and I couldn't be happier that I chose Coast to Coast. I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

It turned out to be the best recommendation I have ever received. Tony spent a good amount of time trying to understand our requirements, and was able to provide us exactly what we were looking for, while coming up with some great ideas to keep it all within our budget. We used A&M to build and install three 10' long/2" thick shelves on "elfa" system's hanging standards hardware from the Container Store. Not only did he build a set of beautiful sturdy shelves, but also offered to pick the hardware for us from the Container store before the day of the installation so he could inspect and keep it all ready. Amazing workmanship, and flawless installation. A&M also built and installed five 72"H x 30"W x 15"D garage cabinets + a set of upper and lower cabinets - rows of three 30"W x 24"H x 12"D cabinets and drawers. Again, everything I mentioned in the paragraph above about the quality of work, willingness to come up with ideas to keep the project within budget, and installation process applies to this project as well. Highly recommended! Now on, Tony would be the only contractor we'd be turning to for any woodwork projects. Given his passion for details and aesthetics, Tony is in high demand by commercial projects, so depending on the size of your project, you might have to be flexible with the schedule when hiring A&M Cabinetry. It'd be worth the wait if you do.
