Earlier this year we were taking our maiden voyage in our 2015 Sundance 5th wheel. Heading out of Phoenix one of the trailer tires blew and we were stuck on the side of the freeway with heavy traffic flying by us. The blown tire had taken out slide wiring, a brake line, and we were leaking propane. While attempting to replace the tire, one of the owners of RV Renovators pulled up and offered to help. With his help we got the tire replaced and followed him to RV Renovator shop. They fit us into their busy schedule and we were back on the road that evening and even made it to our reserved campsite on the Colorado River. The work they did saved our trip. These guys attempted to repair a wall issue in my RV which is now falling apart again. Their idea of buffing an RV is a joke! I had them work on our water heater and they said there was a nest in it! It would have been impossible to have a nest in there since It was used all the time and there was NO opening for a bird. I opened up the water heater at home and it was half full of calcium. They didn't do anything with the water heater. I will never go back! read more

What about the little guy? I have a 27ft travel trailer that needs a window repair. The woman I spoke to at RV Renovators was not helpful at all! I needed a ballpark figure for the repair and without taking the trailer to them, likely leaving it there for who knows how long due to work schedules, she couldn't say even close to the cost. Not even a range of $100 over or under...could be very pricey and then finding a better deal would be in our best interest for all the hassle this company needs customers to go through first! It bugs me in this day and age when companies don't see the bigger picture. We plan to have a lot of other work done to the trailer to "customize" it when we can afford it next month and now I pray I can find a different place to take our trailer to that is more accommodating to customers. By the way, a hint for those in customer service, don't be grumpy on the phone, don't say "NO" as much as you can avoid it, offer HELP/ASSISTANCE. slow.. when they tell you a time frame, double it. had our Rv for 6 weeks, promised 3 for repairs. insurance estimate and approval was completed in 3 days. insurance ance company was not the delay. They did not order the needed parts for over 3 weeks. some items never ordered. At pick up we pointed out items not competed, in order to finally get our rig back we accepted some trim they had laying around that was "as close as we can get" .. now finding items not finished properly. sheet metal not screwed on ... etc. if you need work done in Mesa area.. find someone else. we would drive over 500 Miles to find a repair shop before letting them touch our rig again. read more

Took our motorhome there for some updating. Staff were friendly enough but didn't seem very organized. Their prices were really high for the work we were interested in. We had them repair the refrigerator. They had our RV for 2 months. Just kept saying they would get to it. Disappointed when we picked it up and there was a half dollar size very dark stain on our dash. There was trash spread around on the furniture. They did have the stained dash repaired, at their expense... after trying to convince us they didn't do it. I guess the worst thing that happened while the RV was in their possession was the rear license plate (with the sticker) was stolen. Unfortunately, the registration and insurance info was also taken from the pocket in the driver's seat. Figured that out when the police called and stated that our abandoned motorhome was found at the river. Whom ever took the plate and papers put it on their motorhome. Anyways, we won't be taking our rig back there. read more

I actually haven't written any reviews in years, but my experience here was so negative that I had to come out of my Yelp writing retirement to share it. I'm sure these are not bad people (though they did have some choice comments about me being a woman and not having my husband involved in this project), but I do feel like I was taken advantage of. I bought a 1969 Airstream to renovate into a mobile classroom for a nonprofit organization. We had a limited budget from the start, and RV Renovators wanted to make sure I was realistic about my expectations of their work. They did the work they said they would do (at about twice the cost of what I was anticipating, based on my extensive research on vintage Airstream renovations), but they did it poorly and cut corners. The exterior polishing was done only up to the sightline at the top of the trailer. The electrical system was set up in such a way that the electricians I've had working on it for Phase 2 of the renovation are totally mystified about why things were done the way they were done (with loose wires leading to nothing, etc.). The interior paneling is not the paneling we agreed to and is in fact a hard, unsightly plastic cut at odd angles with very few seams lining up. The exterior patches were nicely done, except for one that is above the sightline toward the top, which is covered in some kind of unsightly caulk that looks totally unprofessional. Once the project had started, we were on a timeline and by the time I picked the trailer up in its "finished" state, we had to be on the road the next day and I didn't have the time, energy, or money to take issue with the work that had been done. Once I got the trailer up to the Pacific Northwest for its final interior work, every single contracted person that has seen it has gone out of their way to tell me how poorly the work was done and that they can't believe I was charged what I was charged. I deeply regret choosing RV Renovators for this work and I hope others do not make the same mistake. read more

We came in because a windshield replacement done in California cracked coming across to Arizona a week later. I talked to them two days ago. This business fitted us in on our tight schedule, got the new glass delivered, installed it yesterday and will have us back on the road today! Their technicians really seem to know their jobs - everyone is friendly and works efficiently. They found a broken clip on the wiper unit and replaced both to make sure they were both good. They were able to hook us up overnight even though their lot was very full. We will certainly come back here if we need other work done on our coach! read more

RV Renovators is 1st class in service and repair. We are on a 2.5 month Motor Home tour of the US. We contacted a minimum of 5 RV repair places around Mesa AZ and no one was willing to assist us. Our RV Mirror was struck by another RV a week prior and it was unsafe to drive. RV Renovators were more than happy to do their best and get us on the road as quickly as possible. They also asked if there was anything else we needed fixed. My husband shared that our front end shook and the refrigerator seemed to have a propane leak. Without hesitation they made phone calls and with their connections set us up for the next morning to have experts look at the front end. In the meantime, they worked on the refrigerator and resolved that issue. While working on the refrigerator the full slide did not retract. They also then had to reprogram the slide for us. Their speedy service had us back on the road in 3.5 business days. That included ship time in order to get the mirror. Please note that they had a full lot to service and their folks were busy working on several RVS not just ours. I'm confident that all customers there were also pleased with the service. Only wish we had RV Renovators near us in MI. Highly recommend them and felt we were in great competent hands. As a bonus they even washed our RV. read more

If you're looking for a great RV Service Center, RV Renovators is the real deal. Took my new Monaco Diplomat there for factory paint damage after waiting over 5 months for the original dealer to get the job done. These folks welcomed us with open arms, promised to deliver a product we'd be happy with, and boy did they deliver. Even set us up with power and allowed us to stay on the premisis for the week while the work was being done. We were so pleased with the paint work that we scheduled a follow up appointment to get a number of those nuisance repairs done, including some custom cabinet work to house all the audio-video-satellite stuff. 100% pleased. Unless its an emergency situation on the road, RV Renovators will be the only service provider touching my coach. read more

I went in to have my brakes and water heater checked. They were very nice and I felt great about my decision to take my toyhauler to them. They called me the next day and tell me they fixed the water heater at a cost with labor cleaning and so on of $200+. I inquired to why I wasn't contacted before any repairs were made and my money was spent? They said they understood but basically said that it was so inexpensive why would they call me? Seriously!!!! Cause it's my money!! By the way I told them I just wanted to know what was wrong with the water heater but that it wasn't a big deal and depending on the price I would fix it later. They said that message never got put in the notes. How about my message to call me before spending my money!!! They also told me they had looked at one drum and everything looked good. They then recommended I get my bearings packed at a cost of $400 to me. Not knowing anything about that I said ok. They then called me back before packing my bearings and told me that all 4 drums and the whole breaking system needed to be replaced at a cost of $1,600. At this point I knew something was fishy as they had just told me they looked at one drum and it looked great. I asked them to do nothing more and I went in and paid my $200+ for something I was never informed was going to get fixed and took my trailer to two other places (wrangler trailers and network automotive) to be inspected. My suspicion was confirmed as both places said everything looked great and I had 50% life left on my pads. I then had one of the places pack my bearings at only a cost of $200 and that included inspecting all four drums, pads, wiring, and magnets. Also I was informed by both other companies that a whole brake job would only cost $750, not $1,600. Needless to say rv renovators tried to rip me off big time and I would stay far away unless you are a big class A with a warranty. Those guys seem to have good luck as they get paid big bucks for those jobs. read more
