DO NOT BUY A CAMPER HERE! I never write reviews like this, but our experience with this Camping World has been so awful that I feel it's important to warn others. What should have been an exciting first-time purchase turned into a nightmare that had dragged on for over a year with endless frustration, damage, broken promises, and complete lack of accountability. Our salesperson, Brielle, started off friendly enough. We told her we were first-time buyers and specifically wanted to look at used travel trailers to start small. Instead, when we arrived on-site, she only showed us brand new ones and pushed us to buy right away. We made it clear we wanted time to think about it, but she kept calling and pushing us to come back. Against our better judgment, we returned and decided on a new trailer we liked. Brielle told us that if we put a deposit down that day, the trailer would be held for us and taken off the lot. We trusted her. A few days later, we came back to finalize the purchase but Brielle was "too busy" to meet with us. Before we signed we needed to clarify why we were being charge 1500 dollars for a "Dealer prep fee" and another 1,995 dollars for a "Desert Protection Fee" that ended up doing nothing. We had so many questions, yet were shuffled into the finance office with Steve, who rushed us through paperwork and used scare tactics to push an extended warranty we didn't even want. We were confused as to why we were signing before even seeing the trailer, and he told us it was "being cleaned and prepped." When we finally saw it, our hearts sank, it was not the same trailer we had put a deposit on. This one had multiple issues: a broken table that was placed incorrectly so no one could sit behind it, missing trim throughout the trailer, non-working outdoor speakers, and no outdoor TV mount. Brielle was still nowhere to be found. Another rep came over and promised us everything would be fixed right away, assuring us it was "no big deal." We wanted to believe them. During the final walkthrough, the tech told us we were "all good to go," but when I checked the hitch myself, there was no safety pin installed. If we had driven off like that, it could have caused a serious accident. That alone should have been a huge red flag. Once home, we found even more problems and immediately contacted Camping World's service department. We purchased in April, and the trailer went in for service in May but they only managed to fix the table (which was done incorrectly). We brought it back again in July, when our service rep Tori told us that the replacement table they ordered wasn't even the right one for our camper, but we agreed to take it because we were desperate to just use the trailer at this point. Before we could pick it up, Tori called with devastating news: someone at Camping World had crashed the trailer and had ripped the awning off, damaged the side of the camper, and torn the decals off and that no one would admit to doing it. We were furious. We were told they'd fix it and order replacements, but weeks went by with zero updates. Mind you this whole time it is sitting on their lot while we are having to pay our monthly payments on it, which we brought up multiple times and no one seemed to care. By October, Tori no longer worked there. I had to call multiple times before finally being connected with Leda, who informed me that none of the parts or decals had ever been ordered. After expressing how upset we were, I asked to speak with her supervisor. Eventually, Rick Williams, the service supervisor, and Brian, the store manager, got involved. Rick told us he would make it "good enough" so we could at least use it for Thanksgiving since they had already had our trailer for months. He also mentioned refilling the propane and water tanks, which was strange since the camper had never been used. He also noted failing molding and trim that would need to be replaced later. We used it for our Thanksgiving trip, but sure enough, had to bring it right back to service afterward. By April 2023, when we went to pick it up again, we discovered that almost nothing had actually been fixed. Every promise made had been broken. Every timeline they promised was missed. Rick was no longer there and we were passed off yet again to another person to reach out too. We reached out to the new service manager, Christopher Pettit, multiple times, copying him on emails. He never responded once which is completely unacceptable. We've been patient, understanding, and cooperative, but this entire experience has been one long nightmare. What was supposed to be a joyful first-time trailer purchase had turned into months of frustration, disappointment, and stress. Camping World has shown zero accountability, zero communication, and zero respect for their customers. Do not make the same mistake we did. Buy your camper somewhere else, anywhere else, and spare yourself the trouble and terrible customer service we endured for years. read more

On June 7, 2025, my husband, son (and his significant other), and I visited Camping World in Mesa, AZ. We'd been researching campers online and wanted to view a few in person--one for us, and one for our son. From the beginning, we were upfront: we were browsing and needed to explore options before deciding. We were paired with Steven, a new sales associate who was fantastic--honest, patient, respectful, and low-pressure. He was the best part of the entire experience. While there, we saw a 2025 Forest River Campsite Ultra 19KB. It had everything we wanted--even if it was pricier than we intended. We let them know we had our own financing and shared details on our 2022 Forest River pop-up (like-new, fully loaded) as a trade-in. Steven returned, visibly uncomfortable, and said they'd only offer $9,000. That was a huge red flag--the trailer was worth much more. We stayed calm and said we'd likely sell it ourselves. Before leaving, we spoke to Jacob, the sales manager, and complimented Steven's professionalism. Jacob asked what would make the deal work. After a brief conversation, he offered $15,000 for our trade and assured us they'd honor that deal when we returned. We were excited and ready to move forward. Because of Father's Day, we waited until after the holiday and followed up on June 21. We texted Steven--only to find out he no longer worked there. He kindly referred us to Hayden, so we followed up with him and explained the deal. That's when things unraveled. Hayden told us the trailer price had increased by $3,000--from $29,999 to $32,999. We reminded him that Jacob had said the price was based on time on the lot and that we had a deal in writing. Hayden suggested other models, including a Cougar and an Eddie Bauer Heartland--both nice but not what we wanted. We were still focused on the Campsite Ultra. Then came the real insult: after speaking to three different managers, Hayden said our trade-in value was now only $13,100--not the $15,000 we were promised. We showed them the written deal, but they refused to honor it, saying it "shouldn't have been offered." We politely walked out--and told them they didn't just lose one sale, they lost two. Later that day, we went to another nearby RV dealer in Mesa. The experience was completely different. When we showed them Camping World's offer, they immediately matched the $15,000 trade-in. We found a better camper for ourselves--an upgrade from the Campsite Ultra--and yes, it was more expensive. We also bought a second camper for our son--also a nicer, better-built unit than what he was looking at. We left with two campers we love--and were treated with respect and transparency the entire time. That dealer earned our trust (and thousands of dollars) because they listened, honored their word, and didn't play games. Final Thoughts: Camping World Mesa was unprofessional, misleading, and inconsistent. What started as a promising experience with an excellent salesperson turned into a frustrating and disappointing ordeal due to poor management and questionable tactics. We won't shop there again--and we wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. Mesa has better RV dealers. Do your research, know your trade-in value, and take your business somewhere that respects you. We'll also be sharing the paperwork from both offers so others can see exactly what happened. I received a email from camping world advertising various products. I went to go to purchase a chair for the advertise price on the day that I received my advertisement and the female clerk said that the price is never been that low. I showed her my advertisement, and they would not make good on their own advertisement. She observed and looked at the email I had received. She says well maybe a couple weeks ago there was one that sold for that price but only one it's an advertising gimmick, but they are no longer offered at that price. I told her I just received this advertisement and showed her the date. She went in the back and never came out. Very poor customer service and fraudulent advertising on behalf of camping world. Shame on you. We've owned seven RVs and I've always purchased chairs and other recreational vehicle materials here. The next day I get an email that says they don't actually have that product where I'm supposed to be picking it up. The purchase of the RV was great. After buying the rv is another story. Camping world owes a check to us and we have left numerous messages trying to get ahold of someone and no one will call us back. After being transferred 3 times today to only get voicemail after being told the people are sitting in their offices is annoying to say the least. I put a down payment on a used travel trailer back in August. When the dealership finally received it, it hadn't even been detailed yet, but it was the one I wanted. I noticed some peeling wallpaper inside and asked the sales associate about it. He said it might be from the desert heat drying out the glue. Later, during the walkthrough, the guy showing me around (not the salesperson) told me the wallpaper was probably peeling because the previous owners "liked to cook and didn't vent the moisture." Neither answer made sense, but I let it go as long as it wasn't water damage. I paid for the "Let's Go Camping" package for peace of mind, thinking the inspection would catch any issues. The buying process itself went smoothly, but less than 24 hours after setting it up, I noticed water dripping from the underbelly, leaks from the toilet, and water running down the slide into the living room. I called Camping World immediately and was told to bring it in. The service team promised they'd "take care of me." It took three weeks before I got it back. They said they couldn't find the leak but fixed a few smaller issues. The work they did looked fine, but the main problem wasn't solved. I set it up again, and sure enough, it leaked again -- even worse than before. I brought it back again (at this point I've driven over 1,000 miles total just going back and forth to get this thing fixed). They said they'd need to test the plumbing and water lines -- something they should have done the first time. I also asked them to look at the hot water in my kitchen sink, which has never worked, but they told me it would cost extra, even though I paid for their inspection package. They eventually said they replaced a cracked shower P-trap. I picked it up again on October 29th, and now I'm just waiting to see if it leaks again. At this point, I'm completely done with Camping World. Every visit means weeks of waiting, more excuses, and no accountability. I bought from a dealership thinking I'd have reliable service if problems came up -- instead, it's been nothing but frustration and wasted time and money. I truly regret buying from Camping World and not a third party. This is my first review ever, but it was so bad that I had to share with everybody else to warn them. read more

If I could give a -5 I would. Sales is great. Then there's service. We got our trailer home and discovered lug nuts were not completely tightened. This month we took it out for our 1st trip. Toilet had hardly any water flow. Awning stopped working, refrigerator light keeps blinking. Dropped it off for EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICE. They said Awning fabric is not covered. Looking at toilet. Why pay for extended warranty? $360 diagnostic fee. Manager will look into it. ‍ In response to GM previous reply, please advise how to dm as requested by you previously. I will Never shop for anything at this RIP-off place again. What an experience Purchasing our used RV here. We went from complications with sales guy all the way through to service even up to management. Disgusting how this place is still open. Went there to purchase a 5th wheel we fell in love with in December of 2024. Along with this purchase. We paid for extended warranty and paid almost $4000 for them to go through the RV to make sure and replace anything that didn't work. Also, a detail job that was in the same charge. To which, they didn't even do. We left the 5th wheel there for one week after purchase. They said, that was enough time for them to do what we payed for and needed. When we return to pick up The 5th wheel at the scheduled time. The RV was not ready. We had to wait several hours for them to get done with it. We did a quick walk through and found that the 5th wheel was rinsed off with spots. NO DETAIL inside or outside. Also saw that no work had been done on this RV. We had leaking levelers, fantastic fan not working at all, master toilet was leaking from valve, fireplace didn't work, lights on front of rv weren't working, and microwave didn't work properly. We discussed these things that was wrong with the RV with sales guy. WE WERE VERY UPSET. The sales guy went inside to talk to someone. Up on his return, he handed us a gift card for $250 and said im sorry hope this helps. He also said that he talked to one of the managers and stats that we could take the RV and they were going to service call to fix it. We were skeptical but said ok as it was getting dark and wanted to go park it at a park and set it up. With in the first month, they came but didn't do anything. Service guy said he needed to come and see what needs to be fix and get it ordered. What wait, they had all that info already. But we went along with it so we can just get it fixed. They returned about another month and replaced fireplace and toilet. The toilet was wrong style and color. So now they want us to take the 5th wheel back to camping world so we can have all levelers lines replace with a couple of levelers. They were also going to fix everything else. When the 5th wheel came back. We saw that nothing else had been done on it and that the levelers were infact still leaking. We called to talk to service guy and service manager. Told them our issues with this RV and wanted resolved. In turn, we had found out that they had used our warranty to fix everything that they did and the things that was supposed to be done. We had paid almost $4000 to have everything fixed not warranty. Another rip off to the customer. We have not seen them again. Everytime we call or go there they give us the run around. They won't even schedule us any time. They just keep saying we will fit you in. Now it's the end of June 2025 and still no resolution. Now our refrigerator quit working and lost food. They won't come fix that either. How are these guys getting away with this and able to keep the doors open for other customers to get the same service as we did? We walked outside and viewed sa couple trailer on our own. No pricing available to see so we went back inside the store. The wife found something to purchase but the register was empty. The lady at the front desk said she'll page someone. A rep comes from the back and begins questioning my wife on what happened to the other girl? Where did she go? I could care less if she was inconvenienced by having to do some work. I'll probably never return, despite buying a new trailer from t this location in 2016. First off, when looking at campers I explained to the sales rep Mike that there were certain items I needed with my R.V. due to my disability and he argued with me that I could not be disabled, which, in itself is not professional and wrong to argue with a customer if they are, or are not, disabled or need accessibilities. After talking with him for about thirty minutes and writing a list of my needs for accessibility and what campers I was looking for, he was supposed to call me back and let me know what other options they have availabile to show me. I never received a call back from him, instead i received a call from Stacy trying to reschedule my "missed" appointment, yes, an appointment that I never had. Then, today, Tuesday, when I called back to talk to somebody about this and possibly make an appointment to find out if they had anything that met my criteria, the gal that answered the phone (didn't get her name, but she sealed the company fate), was talking with me and out of nowhere, I was put on hold in the middle of my sentence and had to listen to some Advertisement. I was quite taken aback, so when suddenly she reappeared on the phone line, I aked if I was put om hold without warning, she didn't have much of a response other than yeah, I had to put you on hold, so I could take another call and put them on hold. Clearly communication is not camping worlds strong points. Seems to me: That judgment and discrimination is. I will not recommend Camping World Mesa. There are plenty of other RV sales on the same block on Main St in Mesa with a ton of inventory! I'll get reviews of them, once I work with those companies. read more

Camping world took advantage of us when we bought our trailer in March .. the finance manager said I will run your credit and get you numbers when you come back to pickup your trailer... big mistake for me ... when we arrived to pickup our trailer he said go get your trailer hooked up "I'm super busy" so I can get your paperwork ready while you get done!! We were running late so he gave us a folder and said goodbye... when we looked at the paperwork later they had added $11000 in warranty fees to the total ( when we were going though originally he wouldn't give us cost of anything) we got partial refund but there was $3k non-refundable...VERY DECEPTIVE... New ***This is an MUST read*** All I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!! I was interested in trading in a 2022 Salem camper for a newer model with a bit more room. I filled out an online inquiry for my trade value and put what I was interested in purchasing. My first call was with a customer service rep named Dan. Great guy, good to talk to however this would all change after my inquiry was sent to what they call a "sales person" names Zach. The communication was beyond sub par and the minimal effort the salesmen put forth was a joke to say the least. Almost like I was an inconvenience to him..... I was offered $15k on my trade, you can see the real value of what CampingWorld sells you, for a 2024 "New" unit they had left over advertised for $27k. I told them I wanted to be a difference of $10k after trade. To my surprise the salesmen told me we were on the wrong unit and we were too far off as I would need to trade in my u it PLUS give an additional $17k. Simple math puts that at $32k for a unit they have online for $27k on "clearance". I was confused and asked the salesmen to send me the breakdown multiple times. After repeated attempts to get the worksheet showing the breakdown I received a call from the manager Brian. While we were going over the numbers he added there was a fee of almost $2500 to wash/clean the unit, install a battery, show me how to work the unit, have a tech go threw the unit to make sure everything works and a few starter items like a sewer hose and what not. I thought to myself, isn't this RV brand new? Under warranty? It comes dirty and I have to pay for a "clean" new RV? I have to pay for a new battery in a new u it? I asked Brian if I "had" to purchase this and he stated "i highly recommend it". After I told him that's insane and who would pay all that money for a BRAND NEW camper then pay another $2500 for the "Let's Go Camping Package", (not to mention the $600 "doc fee", just to make sure it works correctly, cleaned and has a battery along with a few other BS add ons he opted to remove it. Unfortunately the price was still almost 50% higher then I originally told them where I wanted to be. I figured since I was screwed over in 2020 by Camping World they would try to make things right with me, but nope. I even came up on my offer leaving us $500 apart and they STILL refused! For those wondering in 2020, COVID times, we bought a Heartland camper, brand new, used it 1 time before we were told it needed $18,000 in repairs from walls, siding, flooring, electrical and the list went on and on. It sat for months and I was asked rather then for them to buy it back if I would be willing to drive it from Arizona to Indiana to have it repaired!!!!! Unreal right? I ended up hanging onto to it for over 6mo the before I cut my losses and sold it as is and took a HUGE loss. Did Camping World care, did they "make it right", did they call me and try to help me get it corrected, hellllll no! I understand it was the covid era and so on but that's still the product CAMPING WORLD sold. I really wanted to give them another chance after 5 years but nothing has changed! In fact it's gotten worse minus the covid. This is probably why they are one of the only dealerships with so many 2024-2025 inventory still available. I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I was ready to put down a $500 deposit -- not to buy immediately, but simply to hold the $40,000 sale price while I scheduled a third-party inspection. Instead, I was told that if I financed, I'd have 72 hours or less to complete the purchase, and if I paid in cash, the purchase would begin right away. No flexibility, no accommodation -- just pressure. When I mentioned the inspection, the manager even questioned why I'd want one. That attitude is concerning, especially when so many brand-new RVs have quality issues. Despite all that, I gave them another shot. I planned a 6-hour drive to Mesa to inspect the trailer myself since they wouldn't hold it otherwise. I called ahead to confirm it would be hooked up to water and electricity, and while they said it could be done, but according to the salesman , the salesman stated that general manager said it would be "a stretch." Really? It's a stretch to put water in an RV for a serious buyer who's driving 6 hours to see it? They then told me the RV would be "ready by 1 PM on Tuesday" -- but never once asked what time worked for me. It's all on their terms. The whole experience has felt rushed, pushy, and frankly inconsiderate. In contrast, the Camping World in Arkansas went above and beyond. They're holding the same model for 8 days while I line up an inspection, with no pressure. Yes, it's costing me an extra $8,000 total, and it's more inconvenient -- but at least I'm being treated with respect. I am not happy. I placed a pick up order yesterday so I could have someone pick it up today only to find out they are closed. Maybe they could've put that in the email they sent, telling me it was ready to be picked up. I could've had someone run and get it yesterday because I needed it for Thursday. No other store is closed on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving so I never thought camping world would be closed. Good grief. I had some suspension parts (already purchased, front and rear sway bars, rear trac bar and steering damper) I wanted installed on my class C and was also going to buy an automatic leveler system from them (over $5000.00) and have them install it. Contacted these guys for 2 quotes, one for the installation of the suspension parts and one for the leveler system. They sent the first quote for the installation of the suspension parts I have and said the second quote for the leveler system would be coming shortly. They quoted approximately 9.5 hours at $195.00 an hour, $1855.00 total to install the parts I already have. Installation instructions with installation times, prepared by the manufacturer, are online for all of these parts. According to the manufacturers, installation time would be 5 hours (at the outside, some instructions had 1 to 1.5 hours and I used the longer time). At $195 an hour that's $975. Sent them an email questioning this and never got a response. They even quoted me $295 to install a steering damper that according to the manufacturer takes 30 minutes to install. WTF? Oh ya...they never sent the second quote for the leveling system and installation. Do your due diligence before having any service work done here. read more

First off, you really have to be bad to get a bad review from me. Most of my reviews are 5 star. This place does not deserve 1 star in their RV Sales department. I've owned 3 motorhomes, 5 boats and I can't tell you how many cars. I have never seen such a poorly run operation, they need to scratch whatever game plan they have and start over. Start by hiring qualified and professional sales people and stop with the opening BS interview. When you first arrive they want your license and phone number then a very inexperienced (so called) sales person tries to get us to sit down with him. I simply explained that I am there to see only one coach on their advertisement. The so called sales person proceeded to ask questions as he sat down and my Wife and I stood and I explained again why I was there, for one particular coach. This sales person had a skit I am assuming they had to go off of. After much pushing from me we finally got to the Coach which I was extremely interested in and after looking at it, I said let's drive it. They said I had to make to a deal first and agree to a price and then I could drive it. Never, Never, Never, has this happened to me. At that point I said I'm outta here. The sales person tried to give me his business card, I looked at him in astonishment! Then today he calls me to see if he can help me in my RV search, LMAO! The Sad thing is this Coach was on consignment and they have done a terrible job trying to sell it that they are hurting the people that entrusted Camping World to do the job. Inexperience, poorly done and insulting! I could take over their whole sales department and turn that place around into a true RV sales department nationally! We came here on 1/9/21. I put that date in so that you will understand that this was just a few days after AZ covid numbers/rates were declared to be the highest in the world. We needed a part and we're hoping to complete our plumbing repair that day. As we were in the check out line waiting our turn one of the cashiers came out from behind her plexiglass barrier to look for something. She had her mask down fully exposing her nose. My husband politely asked her to pull the mask over her nose. Not only did she refuse, she intentionally leaned in to within 12-18" of his face, pointed his finger like Jan Brewer did to Obama, and said he can't tell her what to do. I told her to back off. On her way back to the register she did another drive-by and got in his face again, completely in an unnecessary act of aggression. We asked the manager about their mask policy and were told that everyone must wear one absent a medical problem. For those who cannot they need a face shield anytime they are out from behind the barrier. Photo of the employee (at her register) below. I have no idea what the 1 star reviews are. This is ridiculous. Elias Alvarado is the man. He spent a lot of time explaining specs and pros/cons of each travel trailer that was within my requested parameters. Facility is clean, lots of golf carts. These people aren't here to upsell you. Go in with an open mind and have some common sense--then you'll be fine. read more

after signing all paperwork, trailer did not have keys and they would not help, claiming I bought it as is. I spent over 20k, but they refused to take care of a $27 issue They just ruined my excitement altogether. read more

This place is ridiculous don't buy anything from this place my father in law purchased a trailer there and they tried to overcharge him for a battery that apparently isn't included when you but a brand new trailer after haggling with the sales guy only 1 battery was given to him for free then when he went to pick it up he drove off the lot without the temporary registration that they swore they gave it to him then he had a simple question about how to turn on off the lights and a sales joker said to him because he didn't purchase the recreation package for an additional 2000.00 they couldn't help him out and just pushed him away and treated him like just another number after he just spent 13000.00 in that dump buyingabrand new trailer.....your customer service practices are poor and definitely need better people skills. Everyone in there acting like their job is so important even the front desk lady sitting there gossiping about how drunk her boyfriend got over the weekend with the other desk lady....apparently was more important than to make more popcorn at my request....she said she was a little bit busy...guess she wanted to hear more about the drunk guy I would never buy a damn thing here and will definitely go elsewhere just ridiculous read more

dropped my camper off August 4 2024 to have the water pump and the black water tank repaired. Informed them what I needed went back a month later in September to check on said they needed approval to order parts. I thought that's what I did when I camper off. They ordered parts said they'd be in October 14. Went to check on it no parts they said December 14 they'd have it went to check on it no they said January 14. They'd have it went to check on it parts had arrived. Went back a week later and camper not ready. Checked the following week and repair was finished tried to pay bill and was informed it would be a week before bill was ready. I firmly insisted bill be presented they said I need to be there at 8:30 in the morning to pick it up. I arrived and picked it it home. Gas line was unattached underneath the never even down Just put tape over it tape it already came loose had to repair it. Circuit breaker was tripped. Had to reset it battery was discharged had been sitting on a lot for about five months almost rent the battery. Nobody there was disrespectful to me. It's just a service stunk. I would not recommend Mesa Camping World although I've had great experiences with Camping World and other places just not here in Mesa. read more

I thought going with a name brand would give me a sense of security. It's been quite the opposite with Coleman and Camping World Mesa, AZ. I bought my trailer brand new. Before my 1st year ended I had to take it in for warranty issues. I dropped my trailer off on February 17, 2023. When I picked up my trailer the first time on March 12, 2023, the service man Erich Damiano told me all the work wasn't done because parts didn't come in. He said he would call me to schedule an appointment when they did come in. I waited 2 weeks with no phone call, so I went in to see if the parts were in and they were. I scheduled the 2nd appointment for April 26th. At this time, a mobile unit could come to me, and I happily paid the fee ($100). The mobile mechanic (Hunter) only spent a few hours and didn't fix everything. He said he had to update Erich and Erich would get back to me later that day. I never got the call. I made the follow up appointment. Hunter came back for my 3rd appointment and not everything could be finished. Again Erich was supposed to call me I waited one week and never received that phone call. Once again, I had to take the initiative and make the appointment for June 8th. This was just becoming a joke, The first time I put the awning out after Hunter had fixed it, it was worse than when I brought it in. After this incident I called Kris Petit the Service Manager to tell him how unhappy I am he said he would talk to Erich and follow up with me the next day. Two days later, I called Kris back he said he had transposed my numbers and that's why I hadn't heard from him. He had spoken with Erich and that everything would be completed on the 8th. He assured me that he would personally be there when I brought my trailer in. When I was going to my appointment on the 8th my brakes were freezing. I had a ride over to Camping World. Erich and a receptionist were in the office. I told them I was stuck on the side of the road, Erich said his mobile unit was in Phoenix and he couldn't help me. The receptionist told Erich what was wrong with my rig and to show me on the Coleman outside how to fix it. After I fixed my brakes I drove over to CW. As I was walking across the way the mobile unit that Erich told me couldn't help me because it was in Phoenix stopped to let me walk across the street. Kris wasn't there like he said he was going to be and the several other people in the service department checked and he wasn't in his office. I told Erich since Kris wasn't there he needed to get a 3rd person because I was tired of the same situation. Erich got Tony Huffman the Shop Foreman he was a huge help. He went through the itemized list of warranty issues with me. This was the first time in 4 visits someone went over the paper work with me. Other issues I had like the black tank lever was sticking but wasn't a warranty issue he told me how to fix it along with a few other hacks that I asked about in previous visits but was gaslighted saying the issue was me not the devices. Tony also offered an outside detail for all my troubles. 2 days later when I picked the trailer up it looked nice. I was told that I owed $100 and when I asked for what they could not tell me. After making several phone calls and being told how much they have done in "free work" for me the lady figured out that they had not matched up my $100 payment for the mobile mechanic to my account. When I got back to the park, I tried to open the awning and it STILL wasn't fixed, the doors that were supposed to be fixed still don't shut. Kris Pettit, Erich Damiano and Tony all guaranteed me this would be my final visit for my warranty work. I called Seth Ewing the Regional Manager first thing Monday to tell him of the situation and all the trouble I had been through and his service manager Kris hadn't helped the situation even after he gave me his word. Seth said he would talk to Kris for his version. Kris called me the following day at 5:50ish saying he would talk to Erich to see what the issue is. They close at 6PM so it allowed me no time to return his call to speak to him live. That was June 12th and it is July 12th, I am still waiting for that call. The work that was supposedly finished according to their paperwork/records, I have to take their word on because I can't take the panels off under the trailer to check. it would have been nice to have an awning for the summer here in AZ. Since I made 100% of all my appointments and phone call follow ups it's been 60 days and I would like to know when my employee benefits kick in? read more

I want to take a second to applaud the service department at this location. I was working with Lita. The team here is AMAZING! I probably had 30 calls in with the team. Dy at the front desk is super sweet and kind every time i called. Lita was incredible to work with. Every question and every need was met. There was also a technician(name unknown )who helped me when I picked up the RV who went above and beyond for me. Rick was also super friendly and helped me with my hitch problem. What a horrible experience with the service department! All RV's are build like crap, lets just all admit that right off that bat. So after the first season of use we had some issues that needed to be addressed. Awning making popping noise, divider closet wall broke, rear A/C not blowing good or cold, skirt coming off outside slide out and the worst was the manufacturer only put one caster on the bed so when we put it back in it tore up the flooring. There may have been a few more. So we made an appointment at camping world service department. After 2 months of them having my RV they finally called and said it was completed. So I go to pick it up and find they had not even fixed several of the issues we were having. The wall in the closet was still broken, awning still makes popping noise and A/C still broke. They tell me to just take it and they will contact the manufactures and get back to me. Do not fall for this! So I went up and opened up the A/C myself and found that the evaporator flange is completely missing. I contact Camping world and guess what, they are now blaming me and say they never touched the A/C. Even though I feel they should have looked at the A/C the point is it obviously came that way from the factory and should be fixed by them! They sold me this RV for 85k and now that they got their money they have no interest in fixing anything in warranty. Even when they didn't do the job correct the first time when it was under warranty! read more

DO NOT GO TO CAMPING WORLD!!!!! My wife and I visited Camping World in Mesa, AZ to look at motor homes. After wondering about their sales lot trying to find motor homes or a salesperson, we discovered their RV's were behind a locked fenced area. We entered the sales desk inside their retail store and asked to see a salesperson. The reception person asked if we had an appointment and we said no. Then she said if I would give her my name and driver's license, she would see if someone was available. I said that I wanted to see what they had available and she sternly told me that unless I gave her my driver's license I could not see their RV's and it was a company policy. This shocked my wife and I. We have never heard of such a request from the other RV dealerships we visited. Needless to say, I was not willing to hand a total stranger my driver's license. I told her I had no problem giving her my name and even my phone number. She once again repeated that it was a company policy and that we could not see their RV inventory without providing my driver's license. We left without seeing what they had for sale. Two days later we visited La Mesa RV in Tucson, AZ, and purchased a used 2023 motor home. The buying experience at La Mesa RV was easy and friendly. They did ask for my driver's license after I had negotiated the purchase our new RV. That is how it should be. The prices at La Mesa RV were much better compared to what saw on line at Camping World which advertises "NO ONE CAN BEAT THEIR PRICE". No Problem!
