We're out looking for our retirement 5th wheel trailer to travel our beautiful country in and so the boyfriend decided to stop in and look at the Reflection kind of what we're looking for something large but not too crazy to get in and out of our RV gate at home. The sales guy was a little off but not bad to the point of being super annoying I felt rushed looking at different options. Yes it was 200 degrees out but i'm a very easy customer who knows what she's looking for in my layouts. But the owner inside the sales office was friendly and answered all the questions and concerns that we asked. If I could give this dealership a minus one I would. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT A CUSTOMERS AND JUST WANT TO MAKE A SALE. My husband and I are novices when knowing about recreational vehicles. We were looking for a travel trailer that we could tow with a 4 Runner and could not find one on the lot that was under 3200 lbs so we left. A couple days later Bill called and said he found one that was under that weight in Idaho and we liked the floor plan so we agreed to purchase that one. After signing the contract and two weeks later they had the RV. We conducted a review of the vehicle and took it home. When we got home we realized it was 3900 pound dry weight instead of under 3200. We called the dealer and said this is not what we ordered and wanted to take it back. We were even willing to try getting another RV on the lot. The paperwork we signed had different VIN and model numbers. We brought that to the dealers attention and they basically stated too bad so sad... you just have buyers remorse. We pointed out that we were clear with the sales person about the weight and floor plan but the manager did not care. There seems to be a bait and switch because they could not get the agreed upon model so they found one that was similar. They lied and said they models were exactly the same but we know they are not. I would not trust this dealership at all. Beware!! WE a seniors and feel they took advantage of our lack of knowledge with RVs. read more

I'm gonna go ahead and give this place a solid 4 stars. Hats off to Marc Aaron. I was referred over here to RJ because he's a veteran like my buddy & I but we were super impressed with Marc. Great attitude, all-around easy guy to talk to. They really had a decent selection and I saw some impressive layouts that I dig but that's where the 4 stars come in instead of the 5. It's just basically because they didn't have enough of everything, but that's the market right now. I kind of have my heart set on a toy hauler and fairly new. We purchased a new camper from Bobby Combs about a year ago and soon realized that buying new was not what it used to be. After waiting a long time, we finally got our camper only to find out numerous things that were wrong. No need to list all the deficiencies as the reason for this post is to give the staff in the service department kudos for being so diligent in getting them resolved. Most recent I had the two RV deep cycle batteries go bad. Called Bobby Combs and they said bring them back and they would test them. They did and gave me two new batteries. Special thanks goes to Makenna in their service department. She was very professional, accommodating and very much exceeded my expectations. Bobby Combs in Mesa, AZ is the worst place to deal with when you need stuff done to the RV. Service Dept can not keep anyone good, we had to order a new pantry door and have our water tank fixed as it was leaking. Evertime we call, they can not find our work order. Its nothing but a hassel for them. They dont like to take the time to help. When we bought the camper and paid cash they would not dicker around with the price of it. BE VERY AWARE OF GIVING A DEPOSIT! We put a deposit down for a potential purchase - they had none of these RV's in stock - we had to 'order one to see one.' With the GUARANTEE that it would be refunded if we decided to cancel. Upon further internet searching - we found the reviews for this RV to be very poor. Within less than 24 hrs, we cancelled the order and asked for the deposit to be refunded. The salesman never returned our calls/emails. NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOTHING re refunding of the $$$! We finally went thru our bank to file a 'dispute' to get our deposit back. And we still have NEVER heard a word from the salesman or the company! After reading other reviews on Bobby Combs - I'm grateful we cancelled the order! read more

So we had a very good shopping experience here and the people we dealt with were very nice, so I would say as far as the sales experience, it was low-pressure and enjoyable. I have read the reviews about the service issues and hopefully that will not be our experience should we run into warranty issues, but as far as the sales process, I would recommend these guys. I hate writing this because Ronnie our sales guys and Kerry the general manager seemed like really quality people. The problem is when your spending tens of thousands of dollars in an investment, you need more than nice people, you need quality, honesty, and integrity in your business. After looking at RVs for a while, we found the one that we wanted, took a look and did the deal, everything was great up to this point. It was a brand new RV - our first - and we were super excited to take the kids to the mountains to escape the heat and have some fun. That trip turned into a nightmare as everything failed on the RV. The battery was dead, the awning didn't work, the fridge didn't work, lights didn't work, the outlets didn't work, the AC stopped working part way into the trip. We basically hauled around a 4000 lb bed. We cut our trip short, came back and called to get it in for them to make it right. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The service manager, Rob, has to be the most unfriendly, non-customer oriented, insensitive person alive. He was a nightmare from day one. He didn't want to hear about our issues and told us he couldn't get us in for a month. Seriously, brand new RV that failed in every regards, and he couldn't care less. We went to the general manager who genuinely seemed to be interested and was able to get us in the next day in spite of the service manager. At that point we heard nothing back for the entire week, no follow-up, no phone call, email and when we finally did get a call, it was Rob, the service manager, who again, seemed to be completely oblivious to the issues. Not to mention, they told us things about the RV that ended up not being true, which we could actually accept as a mis-understanding, but Rob was supposed to get us a quote for what it would take to make some changes so that it would be as we expected. He didn't do that and was condescending about it when we asked where the quote was. To summarize, we were told things about the features that were not true, the RV had issues straight out of the lot that they could care less about making right, and the service manager is a jerk to deal with. If that is the type of service you are looking for, have at it, but I will never do business with them again and I will never take the RV back there for service again, and I'd advise you avoid them if you want to save your self from this type of nightmare. This whole review could have been completely different had they just seemed to show an ounce of concern or consideration about the product they sold us. read more

The customer service of buying our RV back in May of 2019 was actually pretty good.. I mean so good that we sent our best friends to buy the same exact trailer.. I mean I was actually surprised how honest the sales guy were and even finance department was.So with that being said we bought a BRAND new 2020 trailer .. everything was great until we started having battery issues and that's where the headache started .. dealing with the service department and I had done research and everyone who has owned an trailer in their life has said " getting work done on a trailer is a nightmare" but WOW I didn't realize how bad.. down to waiting to even have them look at the issues to the customer service of the service department and also the go through people like CRAZY! Basically for the whole year we owned our trailer it was in the shop HALF the time ... and when the SAME issue they fixed the first time BROKE again and we took it back to the shop it sat for 2 months just for them to tell us that we broke it and we are SOL and it was going to cost us over $600.00 to fix!!! We now know if there is any issue we have with our trailer that we can't fix ourselves we will go somewhere else. They have lost our business and we have many other friends and people we know want trailers we know now where we WON'T send them. It's truly a shame. Really is. read more

We went down to look at a trailer we saw online that fit what we were looking for. I called ahead and talked to Ronnie ( who was awesome and extremely helpful and by himself, deserves 5 stars). When we got there Ronnie greeted us and showed us the camper in question. After looking at it we liked it but decided we wanted something a little bigger so Ronnie showed us a few more options and then suggested a used one they had on the lot. It was exactly what we were looking for (and more), for a great price. Ronnie and I went back to the office and talked numbers while my wife and family were still looking at the trailer. While they were still out there another salesman took someone else in the trailer to show it even though he knew we were talking numbers inside. As soon as we found out someone else was looking at it we asked if it be sold out from under us and Ronnie assured us it wouldn't. He said this company doesn't work like that. Unfortunately that's exactly what happened. Ronnie was shocked at what happened afterwards. Like any buying process, we started the negotiating and the manager Carry said he would be right back to see if he could work on the payments. He said he was going to go get creative and come back to let us know. We never did see Carry again. Instead he took a deposit from the other group and let the trailer go even though we had been there for 2 hours already and was interested in the trailer first. Apparently it's whoever can whip out a deposit first, which we were never told we needed to do! They never even gave us the courtesy of letting us know the other party was working faster than us. They could have at least told us that so we ourselves could have put a deposit down first. Very disappointed that management. Not only was this shady business towards us, Carry never even informed our salesman what was going on. Not only did we lose out on this great trailer, we wasted 2 hours of our day. read more

Well. It started out when I saw a trailer off of the road that caught my eye. I pulled over to look at it. I forgot her name but she's an older woman with glasses that came up to me. She seemed nice. We looked at the trailer I saw off of the street and went to another one that had the same pricing and was close to my budget.. She then was looking at another one on the list but couldn't find it on the lot. As we were walking to where she might think the trailer was at. She ran into possibly her friends or family and they all started chatting.. Here I am waiting for her to tell them that "I'm with a customer"..... Not even close.. So instead I walked into another trailer on my own as she continues to chat with the people she knew. I looked around in this trailer that's right next to them as they continue to chat. I was thinking "how unprofessional this woman was to not continue with a customer and instead continue to chat with these people". I tried to make it even more obvious that I'm still a customer by going into another trailer. This trailer was almost perfect. But they were still chatting away... As I was listening to their conversation, I said to myself "screw it... I'm not going to deal with this BS". I got out of that trailer and started walking to my car. The people that she was talking to, finally looked at me like as if I'm going to be someone important again. Ok ,we have been shopping for a travel trailer for months and we final came across Bobby combs rv and we met Ronnie Dye . His personality and his honesty was the best. We left and went other places and it did not match the service we got from Ronnie . And today we finally made a deal, and the staff and Ronnie were amazing. We will never shop or buy anywhere else other than Bobby combs with Ronnie Dye . I'm telling you we were there listening to the staff dealing with customers and we heard them all deal with them and they were all great . Ronnie made it all easy and was very knowledgeable. And the finance deal with Trent Combs was great . They are good people and highly recommend you guys to stop by and meet their staff ! Trust me I'm a guy that doesn't write a bunch of reviews, but good service is hard to find now a days . This was the best service out there .
