The good is they serviced my motorhome but missed the error code that needed to be fixed on the solar charger control unit. The bad is they called me to say my motorhome was done. I drove 45 minutes to get there and paid for my repairs. I got into my motorhome to discover the solar charger control unit was dangling by electrical wires. I was very angry and left. When the motorhome was finally done, I was leaving and an employee came to talk to me. When he started to talk I told him the first thing you need to do is APOLOGIZE! I listened to what he had to say after he apologized. I left and will never give them my business again. read more

In April 2025, I left my RV with RV Renovators for two weeks to replace the windshield. I planned a trip out of town during this time figuring it would be done when I returned. When I got back, they hadn't even started on it. I live in my RV so this was a problem. After paying them $7,000 for the work, I drove up to northern Arizona...and the same thing happened to the windshield. I contacted RV Renovators and told them what happened and got a "bring it in and we'll look at it." I wasn't going to drive it down till the end of the season in October. When I did, I scheduled an appointment and brought it in for a one day appointment to fix the windshield. I dropped it off at 9:-00 a.m. and returned around 2:15 p,m, In those 5 hours, the only thing they did was take the windshield wipers off. I was told that I needed to talk with Monte the Owner. When I did around 2:30, he told me I would have to pay for the rework of the windshield which was about $1, 500. I told him that I had already paid $7,000 in April to do this job right and did'nt feel I should pay again. I feel there should have been a warranty on the work. Monte offed a minor concession but stil wanted me to pay for the bulk of the cost. I told him that he had lost my business and drove off with it unreparied. Watch out dealing with this company for work getting done on time and who's paying for it. I believe in being fair and feel that no warranty was incorrrect. It was poor customer service and I would not recommend taking your RV there!! read more

We went there to get a quote for an upgrade in our motor home. They checked it out and said that it can be done no problem. The quote will be ready in a few days. We called two weeks later and the front desk promised to have them call us back. This never happened. This been now 6 weeks and still nothing. Obviously they don't need any business. Two years ago, I had RV Renovators redo my bedroom in my 2005 motor home. At the same time, they replaced one side of the windshield. It's a two piece windshield. I only used the motor home once last year, and the windshield had a whistle, but I didn't think much of it. Last month, we took the motor home camping, and it rained. I noticed water running down the front onto the dash. I new it was time to get my roof resealed, so I took it back to RV Renovators. I mentioned the possibility that the leak was from the windshield. They quoted my $1500 to reseal the roof. I went to pick it up, and on top of the $1500, they charged me 2 1/2 hours labor at $165 per hour and $50 in parts to reseal the windshield. I was most unhappy. They took an hour of labor off the bill to try and satisfy me, since in their words, it's out of warranty. In my opinion, it was not installed correctly. The previous windshield was there for 16 years and didn't whistle or leak. I've never heard of the need to have a windshield resealed after a couple of years if it was installed correctly in the first place. I've spent a fair amount of money with them, but this experience will keep me from ever going back. read more

We had a terrible experience with RV Renovators. I do not recommend. Service was slow, inaccurate diagnosis of issues and poor communication. Said the motor home would be completed in "around 2 weeks". We called back at the 2 week mark and hadn't even been started! Once they got around to looking into our issues, they were FAR off on their diagnosis of the issue. Told us we needed to replace the AquaHot at $12K. Good thing we decided to get another estimate - found out the existing AquaHot could be fixed - at less than $1K. Asked for carpet replacement, they quoted $12K. We found another company to handle for less than $5K. Sold us the wrong size windshield wipers. The list goes on. Do not go here. read more

Took our 2007 Tiffin Allegro Bus to RV Renovators for some interior upgrades. We were met by Memo Lopez and he went over some options with us. Let me tell you that when we went over to look at the progress we were amazed. The boring closet was redone to include sliding cabinets and shelving to match our cherry wood. The tv which was a problem to get behind was redone to lift and gain access to the back. Then the floor..WOW.. we went with the wood planking and it made it look like new. Memo took care of our old lady and made her come back to life. Also, Memo was always very responsive to our emails or texts when we had a question. I would definitely recommend RV Renovators for your RV needs. I rate them A++++. read more

Was across the street at Camping World trying to find a plumbing fitting to fit into the hole of my new grey water tank. The guys there said they didn't have anything for plumbing tanks there but to check across the street at RV Renovators. I cruised across the street & had to park in the gravel since their lot was full. I must have looked lost cause a guy that had just parked as well walked up to me & asked if he could help me find something. I asked him if they had a parts store & he replied that they didn't but asked what I was looking for. I let him know that I was looking a water tank fitting so I could Plumb my 75 gallon grey water tank. He asked me to follow him & that he may be able to help me out, we walked in to their storage room full of parts & started putting plumbing fittings together to try to fit my pipe hose that I brought it. This shop remodeled the interior of our 2002 Alpine Coach. It looked dated and needed an uplift. Monty and his team did an outstanding job and completed it ahead of schedule. While we knew what we wanted they had great ideas that helped us refine the upgrade. The attention to detail and overall quality is great! We are extremely happy! Plus, they're honest! We had lost a wedding band 10+ years ago and frankly forgot about it. When we picked up our beautifully renovated Coach - they handed us the ring! This was our second time going to RV Renovators and they have never disappointed us. The office staff is awesome so friendly and we always ask for Jim but all of the people there are awesome! Their work is great and if you don't like anything they will fix it with no problem. We had our carpet replaced and a beautiful flooring put in, tile work done , canopy work and a laundry list of other things we just didn't want to fix ourselves. No job is to small our big for them. After 8+ years now, the work the Renovators did on my 26' 2000 Prowler full slider trailer is just like new. They removed the slide, seats, couch and installed new carpet. They installed 5 seals so there are 3 full seals when the slider is extended and retracted. They also replaced the front fiberglass piece. Have been in heavy rain/wind and the slider seals are like new and remain in place. Very happy every time we use it. The trailer interior is plush and solid wood; it's a keeper thanks to their work. read more

RV Renovators is the worst! Horrible customer service! They had my trailer for four weeks to do PDI/systems check and give me a quote to fix the master bedroom slide. This is what they provided me for $390. When I asked the technician questions about the sink he said "I don't remember, I did that like three weeks ago." I just bought this used trailer through a private seller and wanted to have it looked at before I took the family camping. I knew it needed tires and the master slide repaired. So for $390 I got a check box on the faucet/kitchen with no detail on what the problem is. The technician also said he wasn't even half way done with the inspection. Then when I go to hook up my brand new Anderson ultimate coupler wasn't installed, no big deal. I install it and land it in my hitch now the latch pin won't go in to couple around my ball. I take it back off the truck and remove the coupler to find the pin guide all gouged up. The technician finds a file so I can file it smooth so the pin operates enough to get the trailer home. This place is a joke! I wasted my time and money and will not be back. At one point Jim told me I know you don't want to hear excuses but we are really busy and some staff have been on vacation. If that's the case Jim, don't have me drop off my trailer until you are staffed and ready to do the work. read more

I'm sure these are very nice people, but I did not have a good experience. I called to get an estimate for flooring. They told me I had to bring my RV in, but their hours are not conducive to do this for working people. I asked if there was another way around this. I talked to Maxine, who was kind, but I don't think she understood my frustration after calling several times and not receiving a return call. I finally spoke to Levi, who was also kind, and he asked me to take detailed pictures and send them to him via email for an estimate. I had to offer this solution because there wasn't a lot of problem solving going on for my situation. I emailed Levi the pictures and did not hear back. I called again and Maxine told me that Levi was busy and that the company is taking on other projects, so he was off site a lot. (Why take on other projects if you can't even serve the customers or potential customers you have?) I told her I understood this, but that I have a timeline I'm trying to meet. She assured me she would have Levi reply. Levi replied to my email 4 days after I sent the pictures. He confirmed what he and I had already discussed, but I did not see an estimate or any answers to my questions in the email, so I called back, again. I finally talked with Jim a week after I spoke with Levi and he gave me a verbal estimate that seemed astronomical compared to what I discussed with Levi. On top of all this he told me they couldn't even BEGIN working on it for two weeks and that it would take two weeks to complete. I asked if there was any way around this considering I had been pushed off for a week and that I have a specific date by which I'm leaving town. He said there wasn't anything he could do. At this point, there was a risk they wouldn't be done by the date I was to leave. To say the least, I am frustrated enough to give up. I felt like I had to pursue them and follow up on my inquiries when it should have been the other way around. Until they figure out their priorities, I would steer clear of this establishment. There are some major problems with communication here and I hope they can work them out because they just lost my trust and a good customer. I am so disappointed. read more

I'm sure these are not bad people (though they did have some choice comments about me being a woman and not having my husband involved in this project), but I do feel like I was taken advantage of. I bought a 1969 Airstream to renovate into a mobile classroom for a nonprofit organization. We had a limited budget from the start, and RV Renovators wanted to make sure I was realistic about my expectations of their work. They did the work they said they would do (at about twice the cost of what I was anticipating, based on my extensive research on vintage Airstream renovations), but they did it poorly and cut corners. The exterior polishing was done only up to the sightline at the top of the trailer. The electrical system was set up in such a way that the electricians I've had working on it for Phase 2 of the renovation are totally mystified about why things were done the way they were done (with loose wires leading to nothing, etc.). The interior paneling is not the paneling we agreed to and is in fact a hard, unsightly plastic cut at odd angles with very few seams lining up. The exterior patches were nicely done, except for one that is above the sightline toward the top, which is covered in some kind of unsightly caulk that looks totally unprofessional. Once the project had started, we were on a timeline and by the time I picked the trailer up in its "finished" state, we had to be on the road the next day and I didn't have the time, energy, or money to take issue with the work that had been done. Once I got the trailer up to the Pacific Northwest for its final interior work, every single contracted person that has seen it has gone out of their way to tell me how poorly the work was done and that they can't believe I was charged what I was charged. I deeply regret choosing RV Renovators for this work and I hope others do not make the same mistake. read more

We decided to renovate our 2007 Newmar instead of buying a new one. From the beginning of our journey we knew that RV Renovators was going to do an outstanding job. From custom cabinets to new counter tops, sinks, TV, convection oven, induction stove new dinette area and shades. The workmenship and detail is just jaw dropping.We couldn't be happier. We bought an old motor home a little over a year ago that had sat for almost 20 years. We met with Mark Germaine about numerous concerns last November. Each concern was written down and addressed with their technician. He then called us to discuss ways to repair a black tank leak that would save us money, repair a generator fuel line, repaired dash air, checked out roof air to determine leak, replaced dome sky light, cleaned and re-sealed entire roof. Very good communication. Each phone call was followed up with an email to verify additional work. We would wait for an estimate on something and then we would add something else to check that was within our budget. We needed suspension checked out so they took it to Straight Line Suspension for an estimate. (By the way, the suspension work was just completed : bushings, alignment, steering linkage, replace air Springs with coil springs, tie rods and bell cranks). RV Renovators recommended Straight Line and we trusted them enough to trust Straight Line. Our motor home is now back with Mark because we've decided to go for a new roof AC. WE are so pleased to have found this company. Their lot is always full. They are always busy. We didn't need to hook up since we live in the valley but they do have electrical hook ups for those people traveling who need repair work. Forget about Camping World (you're lucky to even get them to answer or return a phone call --then you're told to wait three weeks before they can even look at it). Great customer service. Even those answering phones are friendly and helpful. Fast response to emails. Those that gave bad reviews ---it's like they're talking about the wrong company. (Proud "new" owners of a 1997 Airstream Cutter 34' Motorhome) It would be tacky to take off one star because of dirty carpet--when we brought in our motor home in November, we just had our carpets cleaned that morning. They were still wet and we told Mark. We assumed they would put paper down like auto service people do. The day we picked it up it was raining and they're were dirty, oily footprints from door to drivers seat. I've worked at them with vinegar and baking soda but still have spots in dog house. My recommendation is not to assume that because our coach is old, that we don't keep it clean so invest in a large roll of news print and lay it down. This time I covered that area up with small area rugs. read more

They were the closest authorized aqua hot service center when I needed one. They did such an outstanding job and everyone there was just great to talk to that they are nmy 1st choice in rv repairs. UPDATE..... I was so impressed 2 years ago that I made it a point to go back. Very disappointed with the aqua hot techs they have now. If worked flawlessly since the last time they worked on it. So the tech tells me three things were out of adjustment, but none fixed the problem. So for several hours, which I paid the labor for, 2 techs trial and erred several scenario' s to no avail trying to fix the problem. After 4 hours another guy walks by and tells them what the problem was , and kept on walking, and he was right. I don't mind paying high labor cost for expertise but not to educate someone on there job. For aqua hot service I would go someplace rl UPDATE...UPDATE... After sending an e-mail expressing my dissatisfaction I received a call the following morning offering to make things right. We came to an agreement and they did follow through. I was completely ripped off by a guy who sold me a 1954 Terry trailer. I took it to RV renovators to assess what needed to be done to get it in functioning order and was given the lowdown of what the bad news was. During this time, my father passed away, up in Oregon and I had to go up there for several months to try and settle his affairs. By the time I got back home, I figured they had sold or gotten rid of my trailer (and I wouldn't have blamed them), so I considered it a $3000 loss. But Jim called me, to let me know they still had it and wanted to know if I was ready to get it or what I was planning to do with it. He indicated they had a few inquiries on it and was I interested in selling it. At this time of year, after spending every last cent trying to take care of dad's medical bills and funeral costs, I was so grateful for his offer to help me out. Thank you Jim. I dropped off my motorhome for some final warranty repair work that was messed up at the factory repair center. While it was there, I decided to have a Winegard Trav'ler installed. The work was first class! Some of the poor work performed by the factory repair center was fixed and looked very professional. In addition, they had to fabricate a special mount due to the slope of my roof. The mount is solid and should last forever, and the dish works great. I recommend these guys wholeheartedly. It's a 2 hours drive from my house, but the quality of work is worth the trip. I can't speak to the length of time to repair the RV since I told them there was no rush. It's the busy time of year, but the repair tech took the time to review everything with me before I took the vehicle. read more

My husband and I had our RV serviced here this past week and I absolutely recommend taking your RV or trailer here. Everyone is so nice and helpful. They have excellent customer service and Levi took the time to explain our different options and ways to save money on repairing certain things in our motor home. This is a repair shop so keep in mind that these things take time and you need to be realistic! We live in our RV full time so we were able to stay in our rv at night while they worked on it during the day. t's rare to read positive reviews for RV dealers or repair yards, but here's one I'm happy to report. Last month our Allegro coach was struck by a red-light runner here in Phoenix. When Camping World was slow to respond to my call for a tow, I had the coach delivered to RV Renovators in Mesa for the $12,000 of repair work required to get us back on the road. We were met there by the owner, Monte Germaine, who quickly promised the kind of first-class customer service that in reality seldom seems to materialize. Well, I was wrong about this guy. Every promise he made to us from the first day was met and often surpassed. More to the point, the repairs were completed on time and to very high standards. Speaking for myself, I hope to encounter others in this business like Mr. Germaine as our RV experiences continue. I hate leaving a company a bad review but I took my 25' camp trailer to them to have a window and a heater replaced. They called and told me I had 2 broken windows and asked if I wanted both fixed. Funny thing is I only had 1 broken window and clearly showed them that when we did the initial inspection. After arguing with management who were no help my hands were tied and I paid them full price for both windows. Upon picking up the trailer the gentleman who towed it back to my car told me he saw broken glass on the ground where the trailer was parked and told management the window was broken on premises. Needless to say no one ever took blame for the window so I had to take it in the shorts. Liars and cheats who take advantage of people. They will never have my business again and I hope you look elsewhere when getting your RV serviced! read more

Had my 06 38" class A in for a new windshield and a couple other smaller issues. Found RV Renovators did exactly what they said they would when they would and for less than they said they would. Cant beat that. After that 1st experience I scheduled a return trip to have some more substantial body work down and again they repeated the process. The workmanship, customer service, and timeliness was superb. I would always rather work with a family business and the Germain brothers are my go to guys whenever I am in the SW and need service of any kind on my coach. Pretty much zero stars. I called for an appointment to come in for estimates on my newly purchased used RV. When I arrived for my appointment the person I spoke with did not even remember talking to me. I should have known immediately what was to be. I got my estimate and chose a few minor items to move forward with to test the waters as I have major renovations in mind. When I picked up my RV after the work was completed I inspected briefly and went on my way. When I arrived home my inspection continued. After over 500 dollars spent this is what I got. Extremely inferior product installed inside the cabin which is already broken. Someone else's under garment laying across my bed. A receipt for the work that belongs to someone else. When I called the company to tell them these things, the person one the phone said send me a picture of the under garment then maybe I can figure out who it belongs to. WTF? seriously. Then he told me that if I drove my RV back to them, they would spray some disinfectant in there, and by the way can you bring the other customer's receipt with you when you come? I am completely discussed and taken back by how shoddy the work was and the high price was and the non care with which I was "helped". As far as rip offs go 5 star read more

Earlier this year we were taking our maiden voyage in our 2015 Sundance 5th wheel. Heading out of Phoenix one of the trailer tires blew and we were stuck on the side of the freeway with heavy traffic flying by us. The blown tire had taken out slide wiring, a brake line, and we were leaking propane. While attempting to replace the tire, one of the owners of RV Renovators pulled up and offered to help. With his help we got the tire replaced and followed him to RV Renovator shop. They fit us into their busy schedule and we were back on the road that evening and even made it to our reserved campsite on the Colorado River. The work they did saved our trip. I can't say enough good things about everyone at RV Renovators. Great people and service. And the bill was reasonable. read more
