They do have a pretty nice gluten free roll they serve if you have gluten issues at no extra charge however the lobster roll is $40 here! Drift offers a larger roll for $39 (more meat supposedly based on reviews - have not been). It visually looks like more meat too. This didn't have too much meat but it was tasty. The fries were bland and not crispy. Come with ur basic ketchup. We always like when fries have additional sauces but that's not the end of the world. More-so a smallish roll for $40. You are essentially paying for the location here and boat ride most likely! Not too much to say about the salmon. Bf liked it but he always gets salmon! Boat rides are very frequent though and will take just the two of you over. Limit is 6 people per ride. The bathroom was disgusting here I must say. Gender neutral one bathroom and it was filthy. They say if the bathroom is gross the kitchen is gross so I dunno.... Based on my lobster roll I wouldn't return. Too many other restaurants in the area that are fabulous.

Was about a 30 minute wait on a Sunday evening which worked since I was 15 minutes away from when I called. Arrived and noticed it was next to the ice cream shop I wrote about not too long ago so pretty sure I hustled found my one, two punch for a meal sometime soon. When inside waitress / bartender got the name and said it would be a few more minutes. Bar was full. While my partner and I waited a young girl approached and was super kind enough to give us a small rubber duck (assuming a game machine somewhere in the place) which sparked a conversation which then grandma? joined followed by mom. Once good came out we said our goodbyes and off we went. As for the food, burger hit the spot. Cooked medium rare as asked, thick, and also delicious the next day cold. The girlfriend had the vegetarian panini which she was full after a couple bites and enjoyed it the following day. Reminds me of my hometown tavern; good food, lots of locals, and a place you want to come back to.

Literally my favorite restaurant in all of CT…read more i just got engaged yesterday, and me and my fiancée have been coming here for years. when i was thinking of spots for engagement dinner, i knew immediately. i always love coming in here, greeted with a super cozy vibe, and a very friendly host each time, and were served almost immediately after being seated. today, our experience was no different. we went with the meatballs and steak skewers for our appetizers, and they were a home run as per usual. for our mains, i got the grilled cheese sandwich with steak inside, cooked medium rare, with fries. my fiancée got the cobb salad with steak, and poppyseed vinaigrette. absolutely incredible as to be expected, i always get the biggest smile on my face when i bite into the food here. for dessert, we got the crème brûlée, which was a blueberry flavored version today. if i could give 6 stars, i would. this place makes me so happy. i urge everyone to come try this place!

I really made the dishwashers job easier that day, haha. Obviously one needs to get french toast or pancakes for the table. I totally get the hype around this french toast. So thick without being dry, even if you don't go the cinnamon route. Do be warned it's a lot more feeling than you might anticipate, I'd say one person won't need more than 2 slices!
