Went here by mistake. Initially we had planned to visit another breakfast place, but it was closed. So some locals advised us to visit the Blue Highway! As they say, the locals are never wrong! This place is awesome. We were welcomed by a friendly, well-spoken waitress who asked us if we wanted to sit inside or outside. The weather was good so we took the outdoor table. The menu is great! Lot of breakfast options and good prices. They have a special menu (check my pictures) and I was surprised to see such low prices. Low price, high quality! We ordered Veggie Omlette, Eggs Benedict and 2 eggs over medium + side of bacon (so crispy, delicious). Everything was delicious. The waitress remembered every customization requested by us and conveyed it to the chef who made it perfect to our liking. Such restaurants make their customer's life easy. If you have a nice experience at the breakfast/brunch, you become happy and your full day goes well. I don't mind going there again when I drive to CT or NYC.

Was originally going somewhere else on our family outing day but the line was over an hour long. Decided that would wreck the time table. We stopped in here instead. Quaint little roadside dinner doesn't look like much but the food was pretty good. I had a breakfast of hash eggs home fries and rye toast. My wife the eggs Benny with home fries. My daughter the breakfast sandwich with hollandaise sauce. All in all it was good meal would return if in the area.

The food was good. The problem was that no one was wearing masks so it didn't feel very safe. Our server was very nice though. We got a Ruben and two hot dogs, both of them were pretty good.

Found this little gem on one of our camping trips. Food was fantastic! We will be visiting this spot again when we are back in town.

Very nice lunch. My wife and I were visiting friends near by and found the Blue Highway Cafe on our gps. We arrived around 2:00 on a Saturday and were the only customers. We ordered a roast beef and Ruben and were very satisfied with the quality and price. We will return. We discovered in the way out they stayed open after they were supposed to close. Nice people too. Thanks Rich and Phyllis

We chose the latter in a corner window right by the falls. The service was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, to helping us find our seat, to our server helping us with the menu, to the manager coming over and talking with us to make sure everything was ok. I liked how the server first checked to see if we had any time restraints along with food allergies, etc. Speaking of the food. We started with the clam chowder and scallops. The chowder was the best I've ever had. Plenty of meat and seasoned perfectly. The scallops were amazing. The manager later told us that the scallops were the only thing that had been on the menu since day one. They tried to rotate them off once and the people went nuts. We moved on to the duck and salmon. Both were delicious. Sides were perfect as well. I'd love to write about dessert, but unfortunately, we were stuffed. They looked good, but that will have to wait until next time.

Then noticed the sandwich shop in the back and felt better. As stated before I wanted to try their cheeseburger but noticed they had a steak and cheese grinder on the menu so went with that instead. Took the typical time to make the sandwich. One regular customer briefly talked to someone making the sandwiches and he said you look busy and she said it was lunchtime. I opened up my to go container when I got in my car and at first glance I thought there's barely anything in it. Picked it up and noticed that the roll was fresh without even biting into it and feet all the bulk inside the sandwich too. Sandwich was delicious and for once in my life I did not burn the roof of my mouth on a steak and cheese grinder, not saying it wasn't hot because it was but I ate it with caution. I have traveled through quite a bit recently and see I myself stopping in for lunch occasionally.

It's not a warm and fuzzy people, let's recall the Romanov's as case in point. Yeah. The problems are far deeper than. The deli now wants customers to get on a computer and build their own sandwiches. The computer is TINY, difficult to navigate and just a big middle finger to paying customers. I did my best to navigate to order what I desired, then paid $18 for the privilege. Shortly there after, the cult of personality confronted me for ordering extra cheese but not paying for it. I tried to apologize and explain that I could not locate an option for that on the self serve register. Could not even get the words out before she was saying, no pay, no cheese.. I get that and I'm happy to pay, my mistake, I'm not familiar with the computer. Should have been the end of it. Nope. After she added the 2 slices of cheese for which I would pay an additional $3.00, she just kept coming at me. I don't own the business, it's not my problem. I work 6 days a week and go home to 3 children. On and on and on. All I wanted was to quickly grab my favorite sandwich (which she's made for me many times) and go enjoy my day. Should've been simple.. Instead I had to literally serve as an employee, get reamed out for my poor performance as an untrained person on an unfamiliar program in a food SERVICE establishment and par $22 for a literal shit sandwich. I was robbed and assaulted just for being a customer of 19 years. I got the message!! Happy to take my business elsewhere
