Im gonna do you a solid, walk away while you still can. Ive ordered couple times from here and the food is bland. Also my worst experience was when I ordered through doordash only for my order to be changed by management WITHOUT consent from the customer. If you cant make my order or have ran out of the item... simply contact the customer to have the order changed to my liking. What really bites is that they gave me a lesser priced order than what I paid through doordash. Came in with a Super Bowl hangover that only greasy food and hair of the dog could fix. Had the lunch chicken sandwich and subbed the fries. The sandwich was way bigger than I thought and had a really good bun. I haven't had the chips, but the fries were fantastic. They were the really thick cut fries and were cooked up fresh and hot. The bartenders have always been friendly and attentive and the drinks are well-priced and not under poured. I like to come here to work since their wi-fi is solid. I'm giving this place 5 stars --- and let me tell you why. This place is exactly what I'm looking for in that divey neighborhood bar. The have a decent selection of beers and all the liquor that's necessary to make any drinks needed. Are you looking for something they don't have? Well don't be a picky bitch and just get one of the other thousand options that are available. Second they here a pretty decent kitchen which is open late. It's bar food and keeping that in mind the quality is great and the menu is full of options. I work nights and it's not so easy to find food late, so I also appreciate that this isn't the type of place that acts like it's an inconvenience when you order food past a certain hour. The Rusty Cannon rocks! I had a group of about 15 friends meet there to celebrate my birthday. I chose the place because I've always had great experiences when I stopped in before, but these folks went above and beyond to make sure my friends and I had an excellent time! Everyone had a blast playing pool, shuffleboard and darts. We ordered some appetizers to share on the table and it was all delicious. I especially liked the stuffed pepper bombers and the nachos. My wife and I stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday after seeing an ad in the local paper, what a pleasant surprise! There were a few regulars at the bar, where we sat, and had a great time chatting with the bartenders, both of whom were super nice, very attentive, and made us feel welcome. This is a great neighborhood bar. The food is tasty and looks to be made in house (not frozen stuff). So far I have tried the stuffed jalapenos and the ribs which were really big and delicious! The happy hour specials are not anything to write home about- $1 off Texas beer and Texas liquor. I would like to see more deals to amp up their HH, hopefully this will happen.There is a jukebox, a couple of pool tables, a shuffleboard, and darts. The thing I like most about Rusty Cannon? The servers! They are friendly, attentive, and can recommend good menu items. I really like their burgers. The place is really clean inside, and the patio in front is covered with lots of seating which is nice. The place is full of local southies, down to earth folks who are there to have a beer and a good conversation. I've had plenty of interesting talks with people about everything from politics to farming. Speaking of, it's really hard to hear inside for some reason. It feels like everything echoes in there, so it's easier to talk outside. The food is top notch and very reasonably priced. Bring your hungry friends! read more

When one of my friends asked for another round of drinks, the bartender mentioned that there were five other people waiting inside him. Therefore, he ignored my friend when made a request. This isn't the first time he has ignored my friend when he made an order. However, with that being said, the female bartender was great. She didn't ignore us when we made an order. If you are going to work in the service industry, you have to be nice to customers and make sure they aren't being ignored. read more

Really good burgers, good atmosphere. I used to be in the food service industry. It's a fact if a restaurants bathroom is clean so is the kitchen. I've found this true every time. The bathroom is clean and so is the inside of the pub. I've eaten two different burgers here both well above average. Really good. The fries are large home-style and come in a basket with enough for two. The Rusty Cannon offers a full service bar which I haven't tried yet. I've been working on each of my visits. I just paid my tab and left, didn't even ask about the happy hour pricing because of the service. This is one place I warn you to stay away from, horrible service. It's an okay little bar. No draft beers though. I actually liked it better when it was the old place with live music but that place had plumbing issues was pretty rank smelling. Fortunately that has been resolved. A word of warning, if you use the juke box, that damn thing is set to play 2 or 3 user played songs then switches to house programming before playing more user played tunes. I had to wait 1.5 hours to hear the 3 songs I played when 1 other person used it. Kinda pisses you off. The burger I had was damn good. The bartenders are generally friendly and dont have that "holier than thou because I work in the service industry" attitude. I have noticed some goon looking wannabe gangster types who work there. Intimidation makes for bad business...I'll just leave it at that. I may go back. I might not. There are plenty of bars around. read more

The thick steak fries are still very good. Hickory burger didn't come with lettuce, tomato, onion and waaayy too much hickory sauce. Ask for the sauce on the siade becauce i think under all that sauce there may have been a good burger. We didbbirger dressings after we asked. Place was dead on a Friday night when we came here. That should've been the warning to turn around and leave. We were sat and ordered water. I decided I wanted a beer so I went to the bar to see what they had on draft. NO draft beers. What kind of pub has no beers on draft? The menu is small, very small. Which isn't bad, but the food better be fresh and amazing. Neither of which are true. The fries are generic steak fries, the burgers are bland and flavorless, the pork sliders were decent at best. They had a soccer game on, but we wanted to play some music so I put $5 in the jukebox and picked some music. After 3 or 4 minutes I noticed nothing was playing. I told the bartender there was no sound and she had to turn it up and refund my dollar to repick the song. I picked it again and at first I thought it wasn't playing again but she turned it up to a barely audible level so I had to ask her to turn it up again and was not refunded this time. All in all this place is cheap and it comes off that way in every aspect. read more
