We visited New Mexico recently and I really wanted to try out a green chile cheeseburger. Based on the reviews online, we came to Rusitc on the Green. We actually made the trip from Santa Fe (where we were staying), to Albuquerque just for this burger. I gotta say, this is the best burger I've had in many years. The patty was suprisingly juicy and savory. The cheese, onions, tomatoes, and buns were also delicious within the burger. However, I would say the addition of the green chiles definitely took this burger to elite level. I enjoyed this burger so much, I regretted eating it so fast. This is the first time I have enjoyed a spicy burger. I will definitely want to come here again if I'm ever in New Mexico. read more

Visited here on date night and I ordered "The Sacred" and the wife got "Devine Intervention" burgers and a boat of french fries before heading to nearby Santa Fe Brewing. They text you when your food is ready, and I brought it into Santa Fe with no problem. Luckily, we found some bar seats and my wife saved mine while I collected our food. The fries weren't all that spectacular. They were a little dry and a bit too crispy. My burger was just okay, and a bit greasy. Actually got drops of grease on my jeans (not too happy). My wife rated hers a 7 since the blue cheese was so good. All in all, average burgers with sub-par fries. A bit overpriced. read more

Really great burger, tasty fries (if a little salty), and very polite and helpful service. It was a little daunting trying to decide what to eat at Green Jeans market but once I saw the menu here and the guy behind the counter started helping me with info since he could tell it was my first time there, I was already happy with my choice. The burger itself was great and it came out pretty fast, and they were cool with me getting the green chili on the side instead of on the burger, which I know would annoy some places. The food turned out great and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. read more

I've never been to this food hall in ABQ and it was worth it. It's one of the older ones in ABQ and has a few food vendors. I went to Rustic on the green and loved the burger! The sweet potato fries with queso and green chile sauce is really good and filling. read more

5 stars. Bomb dot com. Ordered a burger "medium rare" let's just say that shizzznitttt was raw but it was still delicious! Large portions, fries are to be purchased separately. For 2 burgers, 2 sweet potato fries, and a bottled coke for 2 people total was about. $27 Great food, and great service. read more

I have been to the Rustic on the Green's location at Green Jeans twice now and I have to say their burgers are incredible! Each time I ordered the Sacred Burger, which is a cheeseburger with green chiles on it. I know this is New Mexico and everything has green chiles on it!! I am not used to all the green chile-iness around here. Honestly, this burger is just so so delicious. The burger is juicy and the bun is toasty. Throw on the green chilies and mustard and the flavors just explode in your mouth! This is seriously one of the best burgers ever had in my life, and I've eaten a lot of burgers! Each time I have ordered a side of french fries and they are very good as well. They are skinny and crunchy, just the way I like them. They throw a little bit of Parmesan cheese and parsley on top, which is a nice touch. I highly recommend going to Santa Fe Brewing Company and having a Rustic burger with your favorite brew! If you're at Green Jeans definitely check them out! read more

Great burger! It was my first time at the garage and it's a pretty cool place. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and pleasant. I had the divine intervention and it was really good! If you like blue cheese definitely get this burger. The blue cheese was creamy and tangy and the burger had great flavor. My partner had the sacred and really enjoyed it. They have a fire pit and heat lamps to keep you warm when the weather is cooler. I will definitely go back and I think you should give it a try read more

YUM! So Rustic started out as a food truck and has moved into the Green Jeans but the quality is just as good. the burgers are big with bold flavors. The buns hold together even with a big slab of beef on it. The drip with flavor out of the back so make sure to grab some extra napkins. The fries, well they are extra but worth the add one. They are salty... but in a good way. You'll rack up a $15 meal here but it's something to dig on. Get it while it's hot! read more

I really wanted to be impressed, after all the great reviews, but I am disappointed instead. The burger was dry and overcooked, the vegetables were not good, and there not enough green chilies. Oh, and the sweet potato fries were overcooked. Beer from next door was great, however: Santa Fay brewing. read more

I've spent the last year and a half searching for the best green chile cheeseburger in Albuquerque. After eating one from Rustic on the Green I knew I'd found it. The burger patties are thick and full of flavor. The chile had just the right amout of heat and the buns were to die for and I don't really even care about bread. Give this place a try! read more

I was skeptical about this place. I've been a "fish and fowl" eater for a decade and don't really miss red meat. When you lose the taste for meat the fake meats taste bleh. This place has changed that entirely with the addition of their new Beyond Burger patty served "rustic style". It's insanely good and the best burger I've had in a decade. It brings me back to my weekly 90s five guys trips - except better! The bun stands out as superb; it's not too tall/bulky and has that alluring mix of crunchy toasty exterior without breaking apart or being flaky and a chewy interior. The tomato is also something that sets apart the good from the great and the tomato slices here are 2cm thick, circumference matches the patty, and ripe! The cheese is just the right quantity the onions are a touch I usually don't go for but are a wonderful addition. The flavors blend together perfectly and the ingredients are high quality. Oh right and my partner equally raves about the beef versions. You can get a burger anywhere but this place has paid attention to the details enough to stand apart from the rest. read more

My better half and I were craving a green chile cheeseburger. We decided on Rustic Star in Nob Hill. We drove up, parked paid the meter. Imagine our disappointment when we got to the door to find it closed on a Saturday afternoon? A little frustrated, a little hangry, but determined to get our burger on! So we made the drive to their sister location, Rustic on the Green. We ordered the Heritage, which is their take on a Green Chile Cheeseburger. So you order at the counter they take your cell and text you when it's ready. (The super friendly staff explained that the nob Hill location is closing soon, another casualty of ART. ) So we go and grab a beer at the brewery across the plaza, get paged, get the food and eat it at the brewery. Pretty simple. The burger was big n juicy, the green chile was hot and the fries were crisp. The beer was very cold. It was worth the drive for sure. read more

This place is on the first floor below the dispensary! The burgers were both delicious and plenty of seating outside and upstairs. The service was friendly and ordered their two most popular burgers (forgot the names but the classic and the green chili one). The meat had good flavor, not over cooked and break bun was yummy. It's nice to eat a delicious burger without spending over $10! That doesn't happen often now-a-days. This place is totally worth it for the price alone! We came here because several locals said it was one of the best burgers in town. There is a parking lot in the back that is free parking, easy access off of the freeway. Other places to eat and drink within the courtyard. They even suggest sitting in the brewery or distillery across the way and bring your order over there to enjoy! read more

We have tried the Rustic 505 food truck but I am so glad that they moved into the Green Jeans Farmery, I really like the atmosphere! You must try The Sacred, burger with cheese, green chile and all of the fixin's you definitely can't go wrong. Until you realize they also have the Divine Intervention!! Burger with blue cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato and a balsamic reduction...ridiculously good! Oh and do NOT forget to get the sweet potato fries, delicious!! read more

I'd say it's about 3-4 stars. We tried their burgers and tots (plain) the other night, and I'd say my first bite of the burger was "mmm" but then with more bites (and pointed out by my husband), noticed that the bread was rather thick and dense -- not stale, but just not "pillow-y soft" that would've better complemented the solid ingredients in between the buns. We also felt the tots were maybe, almost, TOO well done and crispy, but I wondered whether this was done so that it would hold up among all the ingredients of their regular menu item of "loaded tots". Not sure if we had bad luck, since all the other reviews are so great, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back for their burgers. read more

Absolutely one of the best burgers I have had in Albuquerque. Period. I encourage anyone grabbing a beer at SF brewery, take that quick hop over to Rustic and grab one. I have had the Sacred and the Rustic and both are amazing. The Sacred carries that old New Mexico flavor with roasted green chile, and the Rustic lives up to its name with the perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors. If you solo the fries, you might be a little disappointed as they are par, but those burgers! read more

Burgers good, yes. I only wish there was a plaza, shopping mall like this where I lived, with a bunch of shipping containers put together. Of course, it would be impossible to heat in the winter, it would have to be a summer deal. But then again, there are plenty of places in Minnesota that are only open in the warmer months. read more

Boy, do I get excited when I get to try a new burger place in New Mexico. Upon entering the food court-like set up, I see the familiar sign that I've been eyeing on Yelp. I ordered the Rustic burger with green chile and my boyfriend got the Day of the Dead burger. We were warned that the Diablo sauce on his burger was very hot! So we got it on the side. My boyfriend who can take spice pretty well actually agreed with them that it is actually quite hot. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries to share. The burgers were absolutely delicious. I loved my burger, everything in it was on point. The meat, although it was cooked until well done was actually really juicy! The caramelized onions elevated the burger to a whole 'nother level. The Rustic burger normally doesn't come with green chile but adding it on is a must! It truly worked all together perfectly. I can see why everyone is saying it's the best green chile burger they've had because it really does taste like it! Their sweet potato fries were also noteworthy. Absolutely delicious! They were perfectly fried. Not oily and seasoned perfectly. I don't know... This burger place seems to know what's up! read more

Glad I am finally writing a review on this little happy burger gem. I wanted to try out this place so I could really see the consistency that I'm hearing about, and well they absolutely have it going on here at Rustic. The burger is mouthwatering and oozing with bold flavors of old-school hamburger love. It isn't to me your culinary burger directed one, however Rustic is a burger that competes with most favorable fast food joints "Rex, Little Red Hamburger Hut or Blakes. But what also stands out is Kelly the owner is a passionate man who drives his own business and if I'm needing a fast burger this will always be my first choice. :) read more

5-stars for the burger and atmosphere. The signature Rustic Burger was awesome. The place has an open shared eating area with the other restaurants in the Green Jeans Farmery with plenty of places to sit. It's a community sitting area, so if you don't like possibly sharing time with others, you may not like it. I prefer the "gathering" feel... It has a family reunion vibe to me. Great spot with a great atmosphere. Will come back again when coming through Albuquerque. read more

Kelly Adams, owner of the local food truck Rustic 505, will operate a 480-square-foot restaurant at Green Jeans Farmery. Rustic on the Green will feature a similar concept and menu as his food truck, which will still make its rounds around Albuquerque. Rustic is a new-American burgers and fries joint. "We were looking to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant after having the food truck for three years, so when they approached us, it was like divine intervention," said Adams, noting that "divine intervention" is the name of one of his signature burgers.

I sat down and put my gear down, and waited... for about 15 minutes, before this garbage salad that was falsely advertised as having toppings and 3 sliced chick'n strips. The entire salad didn't fill the bowl.? On the bottom were less than a teaspoon of diced tomatoes. In the entire salad there was ONE "fried onion." The lettuce was chopped like slop, there was barely enough chick'n to call it 1.5 slices. Absolute trash. For 15$ I ate my salad, listening as Morticia Addams' understudy pleasantly said good bye, have a nice day, et cetera to the customers who were leaving. I got up, threw my trash, walked out. Silence: The whole time I was in there, a cheap speaker was streaming some crappy 90s "radio friendly hip hop." When my salad was brought to me, even after explaining it's very hard to eat, or carry , a salad on a motorcycle, it arrived in a to-go/carry out, lid is RIGHT THERE,.Morticia helpfully pointed it out, a subtle hint that I wasn't a welcome guest. As I was gearing up to get on my motorcycle out comes our antagonist. Not to be polite or anything. To smoke or vape. I didn't stick around to smell which one she was doing in the doorway. I get it, lucky goose doesn't want my money. They've made it abundantly clear. That's fine. I'll go to Steelbender, where they have vegan options, and like that customers come on to give them money. I accidentally posted this review to the uptown location. I've never been, and will never be, to that location. This review was the knob hill location.

If you've never been in an establishment where the grease smell and smoke is visibly accumulating in the air, you know it's quite distracting from a dining experience. It was so smoky inside. I actually caught myself blinking my eyes to see if it was just my vision being blurry or if it was the room. Our food was fine, the pork belly was a standout. Otherwise, I'm not sure I need to come here again. I wish that they would get a better handle on service timing, because that seems to be an ongoing issue.

I liked the meal, and it was enough to bring half of the sandwich home for lunch the next day. The other two ordered the Crispy Pork Belly & Tomato Jam flat bread. One liked it, the other was just okay with it. Two of us ordered sangria. It was white, which came as a surprise to us. It was less sweet than we prefer. Another in our group ordered a mocktail and quite liked it. Got a second one and I don't believe they charged for the refill. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of it. It might sound like I have too many issues to give a 4-star rating, but I stand by it. The amience was nice. The wait staff was pleasant. The menu was creative. I'll definitely go back.
