Banana pudding - A banana pudding dessert is presented in a clear plastic cup, topped with whipped cream and banana slices. The cup is placed on a wooden surface, with some crumpled food wrappers and napkins visible in the background. The image captures the dessert's creamy texture and fresh banana toppings.

I was craving BBQ and really wanted to try this place. So off we went after work. We arrived and the place did not have anyone there. We ordered some brisket and turkey with beans, okra and potato salad. We also decided to try the banana pudding as well. We sat down and a few more people arrived. The food came out hot and fresh within a few minutes. The okra was so delicious. The BBQ sauces were on the sweet side. They have both the classic and spicy. But it really was not spicy at all. The turkey was moist and delicious. The brisket was moist and did not have too much fat that needed to be trimmed off. Overall the food was amazing and we will be back again. The price was right for the food that you get.

Pound of ribs - Three racks of smoked barbecue ribs with a dark, glazed exterior and visible meat are arranged on checkered paper inside a food container. The ribs have a shiny, caramelized surface indicating a barbecue sauce glaze, with some areas showing a slightly charred appearance. The image captures the texture and color of the cooked ribs, emphasizing their smoky and savory qualities.

First time visiting and it was great! I was craving a giant stuffed baked potato and duke city bbq did not miss the mark! I got a brisket stuffed baked potato we also had a side of cream corn which was super tasty and my husband and son got the ribs... which they loved! You order at the front and then your called when your order is ready. Counter service was friendly and offered samples of their sausage. Can't wait to return again and try something new!

3 meat combo - A metal tray contains sliced smoked chicken, grilled sausage, fried okra, and small containers of barbecue sauces. There are also sides of baked beans and coleslaw with pineapple. The tray is placed on a wooden table in a restaurant with a modern interior and large windows.

Wow, the great yelp reviews did not steer me wrong! I'm not sure where the best BBQ is in Albuquerque, but this has to be towards the top! Service was amazing, nice clean restaurant. But the food was the star! They had a handwritten note saying "pork belly today"!!!!! I got the 3 meat combo, green chili sausage, turkey and the pork belly, with cream corn and okra. The turkey was tender and Smokey with great flavor! Sausage was good, pork belly was great too! Okra was hot and amazing! Cream corn was very tasty but more cream than corn. Overall a great meal!

The image displays a pile of battered and frozen jalapeño peppers, coated in a light layer of batter, with some green jalapeño pieces visible through the coating. A small container of dipping sauce is positioned to the right side of the pile. The peppers are arranged on a surface, likely for preparation or serving.

Absolutely amazing! The flavors were fantastic on the brisket! No need for sauce either, the meat is so moist and delicious! We had beans, okra and Mac and cheese as our sides and they were the perfect sides! So good! What a perfect meal! Definitely will be back with family and friends! Thanks for opening on the westside- we need a good BBQ on this side of town! Can't wait to share your restaurant with everyone! I will definitely be a regular!

Duke City BBQ on San Mateo was phenomenal! I had the brisket sandwich with the spicy barbecue sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, a wonderful place to enjoy great food and great service

Went a few times to give my thoughts and review this establishment. On my first trip, I had the 505 Stuffed potato with brisket, which was amazing and very filling. I could only eat half and save some for another meal. My only concern was that I thought the torpedo was going to be bacon wrapped like the ones they advertised, but it's just a grilled pepper. On the next visit, we had the meat combo and ribs. The meat combo plate I got brisket, spicy bbq chop and sausage. The brisket is moist and not too fatty. The sausage was ok too, but I liked the green chile pepper jack more. The spicy bbq chop is very flavorful but a little bit greasy. The ribs we had the Dino ribs, which was huge and tasted like a beef roast. The Dino ribs had a peppery rub and nearly fell off the bone. I would come back for one of these. The regular pork ribs were very meaty, too, but not as flavorful as the dino ribs. Dipping it into the bbq sauce gives it all the flavor it needed. As for the sides, they are all pretty bland and nothing special. The bbq beans and potatoes salad are probably the best and safe options. I didn't care for the coleslaw because I wasn't a fan of the pineapple and raisins in it which was a surprise. The mac and cheese was very thick without much flavor.

505 potato - A baked potato topped with shredded cheese, a whole jalapeño pepper, and various other toppings such as chopped vegetables and sauces, served in a foam takeout container. In the background, there are checkered paper-wrapped items on a metal tray and a small cup of sauce on a wooden table.

Stopped by Dukes for a late lunch on a Monday. You must understand this is more of a " fast food" BBQ place than a " pits smoking outside smell the hickory" place. That being said, the BBQ was solid. We ordered at the counter, and in all we tried brisket, jalapeno sausage, the torpedo, the 505 potato and the beans. Very tasty!!! Of note was the 505 potato.... Just a big mound of deliciousness. The ladies at the counter were super sweet, and even gave us a little sample of sausage!!!! I thought it was a really good value as well!!

The owner was out of business cards so we used a gift card instead.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt inviting, and the service was genuinely outstanding--friendly, attentive, and the kind that makes you want to come back. I ordered the stuffed cabbage and the "Russian roulette" pierogies, and both were fantastic. The stuffed cabbage was rich, hearty, and perfectly seasoned--clearly made with care and tradition. The pierogies were a fun surprise, each one a little different, and all packed with flavor. It's the kind of dish that keeps you engaged with every bite. Even the black coffee stood out--smooth, bold, and exactly what you want alongside a satisfying meal. Altogether, Red Rock Deli delivers not just great food, but a genuinely enjoyable experience. Highly recommended if you're looking for something a little different and truly comforting.
