Got a tiramisu and cake truffles. The girls behind the counter act like you're inconveniencing them. I asked for two of each each of the flavors of cake truffles she only gave me one of each. I handed the girl at the register two $5 bills. When she didn't give me back my change (cake truffles $1 each tiramisu $4), I asked about it and she said I handed her $6. I told her I handed you two 5's. She said "you handed me $6." I know for a fact what I handed her and it would have took two seconds to verify she made a simple mistake. I came today in the rain to order the Strawberry Shortcake for my sister's birthday tomorrow night. I ordered with the assistance of a very sweet young lady, Victoria. She works there and although she looks very young, she is very mature. After ordering the cake, I couldn't resist the cookies and pastries, so I ordered 1/2 a pound of pignoli cookies, a lobster claw and of course the mini cheesecakes with strawberries on top. I haven't had pignoli cookies in about ten years and I must say they are as soft and delicious as I remember them. I loved my visit to this Russo's bakery and I must add that Victoria's helpfulness and expertise on the baked goods had a lot to do with my rating. Customer service goes a long way! read more

I've wanted to try this place out for a while now, and I finally got my chance to do so a couple of weeks ago. I came in here after work one night to get a cannoli cake for one of my coworkers' birthdays and some other pastries that were measured out by the pound. This place is awesome. I don't give out 5 stars easily, (I'm not sure what Yelper does) and I have no idea what the pastry is called with ricotta and chocolate but it is worth the trip. I was in heaven upon first bite, no exaggeration. I came in here on a whim just wanting a quick cappuccino. The barista/cashier was super sweet and didn't scald the milk like a lot of other places.
