Best irish soda bread in town. Best italian pastries. Best bread every sunday morning. Service is great

Strawberry Cake - super light and fluffy. Whipped topping. Highly recommend

Russos is one of my favorite places in the neighborhood. Staff is friendly and desserts are delicious. Had this beautiful and yummy strawberry cake for my baby shower. Also love their savory pastries - especially the spinach one. When my parents come to town this is their first request. They actually love it so much they ask me to bring the Italian cookies and cannolis home when I visit (1,200 mile away)!

Best bread, best pastries- especially the cannolis and the rainbow cookies. Get all the cheesecakes too.

Customized cake

If you want a customized cake this is the place! Very happy with their service! The girls there are very nice and the place is clean! I ordered a cake for my nephew and I was very anxious about how the cake would look like, but I liked it, just like I ordered it! Love the place! Kids loved the cake ! Delicious! I'm gonna order again here! Good job guys!

This bakery is delicious. I was looking for yellow macaroons for a Bumble bee Baby Shower! They had all shorts of varieties. Yes! It's a bit expensive. But the delicious. They are opened early which is a PLUS!

Scales where I think the worker had her thumb on the scale lol. Just kidding

Great little pastries and quick seevice. I really loved mini lobster rails called schifolle, or something like that! Rainbow cookies was delicious and moist as well. It was funny seeing all the little posted signs all over the store saying don't talk on the phone, don't sniff the the chocolate eggs, etc... too funny. Little expensive though I'm sure I will come hit them up next time I'm over here.

The most amazing apple pie. Ever.

Amazing cookies and pastries! The workers were so sweet and there are many options that it makes it so hard to choose!

They gave me rotten chocolate covered strawberries. I enjoyed biting into it as much as Demi Moore enjoys covering up her grays.

The tiramisu cake was absolutely delicious, honestly one of the best I've ever had. I didn't even know you could customize a tiramisu cake since it's usually served the traditional way, but they made it exactly how I wanted. As someone who loves tiramisu, this really stood out. I also ordered a strawberry shortcake, and it was just as impressive. The buttercream was so good , light, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Everyone loved it, and there wasn't a single slice left. The owner's son (I believe) was super helpful, he really takes the time to understand what you want and brings it to life perfectly. I've also tried their croissants, which are huge and delicious, and the hero bread is excellent too. Just a heads-up: they only accept cash.I'll definitely be ordering all my cakes from here moving forward!

This is a staple bakery in Elmhurst that specializes in Strawberry Shortcakes. This bakery has…read morebeen around to more than 40 years and I remember growing up always having this for our family birthday parties. It has actually been a while since I've had it and my friend made a special request specifically for strawberry shortcake for her 50th birthday. Du Bois for the first place that came to mind. Took a quick look online from pics from previous customers and was surprised to see the number of different designs they can do now. I picked this pink flower one that the owner made out of fondant and it was so pretty and exceeded my expectations. There was no additional charge at all. Back in the days....40 years ago, there was one style I remember getting and it was white cream with strawberries. Now there's so many you can pick from. The birthday girl was so happy with the design. I ordered a 20 person cake. There were 2 choices-round or sheet cake. Round is $60 which is what I opted for since I thought it looked prettier and the sheet cake is $50. The round cake actually came out very tall but gorgeous. Harder to cut too since it was taller. The owner was so nice. He custom made the top of the cake box to make sure the cake fit and doesn't get damaged. The fresh cream on the cake is so good. Not too sweet and very light. Perfect with the strawberries. The cake part was moist and yummy. I forgot how much I love this cake. All the nostalgic memories of eating it when I was younger came back. Honestly, I think it's even better than I remember. And the price was so reasonable for such a beautifully decorated cake.

Would love any good suggestions! On a weekend early evening around 5pm and they seemed to have most items in stock. From other reviews seems like they're known for their ube cheese pandesal, ube cake, mango cake, pan de coco and pork asada bun. I picked up a torte Cebuana $3.25 and pan de coco $1.50. The former tasted similar to a pound cake in cupcake-like form, sprinkled on top with fine sugar. The latter was a sweet bun with shredded coconut that tasted sweetened with palm sugar. It had a lovely fragrant coconut flavor and was tasty though a tad too sweet for me. The store itself isn't big, a pretty casual set up with seating for maybe 12-15 at cafe tables. The back counter is where baked goodies are displayed, a fridge on the right contains chilled drinks and full-sized cakes which looked made to order. On the left side of the store are some Filipino grocery items on shelves. Staff was friendly and helped answer a couple questions I had about ingredients, (or asked other staff what they didn't know). If I was in the area I'd come back to try a few other items.

Eaton Cafe is definitely a hidden gem in Queens! I almost don't want to share this amazing place…read morefor fear it will be crowded every time we go there now. Our dinner there tonight was perfect! We ordered chicken wings, french fries, and pork soup dumplings for our kids. For my husband and me, we enjoyed the pork combo, the crispy watercress salad and Batagor (fried fish cake, fried tofu, fried wontons and fried potato with peanut sauce on the side in case our kids wanted any). Our most memorable and refreshing dish was the Crispy Watercress Salad. Who knew watercress could be fried!?! lol We will definitely be ordering again next time as well as recommending to others. This dish was refreshing and light. Loved every bite! The pork combo was a combination of roast pig, sausage slices, fried slices of fish cake, etc. with rice and soup on the side. Easily the ideal lunch for one person or to share with someone! The Batagor was very fun to eat because it reminded me of fondue but with peanut sauce. I loved dipping the fried fish cake, fried tofu, fried wonton and fried potato in the yummy peanut sauce. This night was delicious and the perfect family dinner for us. With tax and 20% tip, total was about $145 and change. A little steep for family dinner but it was about right considering the raising cost of groceries. We considered it our New Year dinner. Eaton Cafe definitely gets two thumbs up from me and my Yummylicious Stamp of Approval! Happy New Year everyone!
