Runza always serves some of my favorite fast food hamburgers and crinkle fries. This location is clean and the food came out relatively quickly. My double cheeseburger was good and my fries were not hot but still luke warm. Overall, a good experience. I will be back again. read more

Ordered: onion rings (hot and crispy, no complaints), ranch (the great liquid kind, superb), fries (crinkle cut, again, hot and crispy, no complaints), original runza with cheese (the sauteed onions dominate the flavor of this sandwich that makes it taste more homemade, good product but not everyone's cup of tea when entering a burger joint), and a mushroom and swiss burger (my husband's favorite burger in Omaha, a must try item). I misplaced on friday. I haven't had a runza in a long time. Matter of fact when I walked in there I asked the guy behind the counter if I could take a box of them to go home with. I came all the way from Chicago to a family reunion and I had to have my runs. So I got to have my runza. I grew up in Nebraska where I ate runs as all the time. It's something that I don't get where I live for the past several decades. So I bought a box of runza's. I had my aunt with me and we had some runzas. The restaurant is nice and bright. It's clean friendly. The guy that was behind the counter was real helpful. He hailed the box of runza's for me until I was ready to leave. Real friendly place to eat your lunch. Terrible quality, customer service and management at this location every time we go. Tonight 5 items were missing from our drive thru order. It happens every time but tonight my husband did not check each item before driving home. When i called to let management know, I was hung up on. Then phone would not answer. I highly suggest going to any other Runza than this one. I ordered a large fring and I got a large fry instead. Whoever took my order did repeat it back to me correctly, but I've learned to always check the bag before driving off. I let the guy know who handed me the food so he could correct it. It was totally inconvenient for him and he acted like it was my fault. He asked me in a very annoyed tone if I wanted to add an order of frings and I told him no, I had ordered them to begin with and I was given fries instead. He then let me know that the only way I could get the frings was if I paid for them and that he couldn't switch them out. Yes, he told me I had to pay for the large fry in my bag that I didn't order, and then also for the frings that I did order, but didn't get. What a joke. Finally a different employee spoke over him and let me know that my large fring would be right out. The original kid then shook his head and rolled his eyes. When the frings were ready he held the bag out of the drive thru window and didn't say one word or make eye contact. Wow! Tried to call and speak with a manager and no one answers the phone! Absolutely terrible. Corporate heard from me instead. Moving forward I'll be supporting the 168th/dodge or Elkhorn Runza. Had a hair in my burger. Took it discreetly up to the counter as I know things happen. I told the guy I just wanted a refund and not another one. He yells to the back kitchen - 'Erin, she said there is a hair in her burger.' My daughter who was in the very back of the restaurant heard him which means everyone else did too. Erin comes out and asks if the hair was in the burger or the wrapping. Seriously! I hinted the reason there is hair in food is because people like her with short hair that isn't even held back with a barrette. She apologized and refunded me which was good. read more

Runza is a burger joint but also their claim to fame must be this sandwich called the Runza. It looks kind of like a Hot Pocket but I assume it tastes a lot better. Decor is clean and they even have a tv in the seating area. I ordered the chicken sandwich, buffalo-style. Very good, the buffalo sauce was medium spicy. They add lettuce and tomato, and the tomato didn't taste like cardboard! A small victory. The onion rings, however, had an industrial strength batter on them that looked and tasted like cement. Not very salty either which is unusual for fast food joints. read more

I have been very pleased with this location in particular. The staff is always friendly and happy to see that my needs have been met. One experience my eldest daughter ordered a cone after I already placed my order and she simple didnt charge me for an extra cone and gave it to her with a smile. Another time we came in close to closing and didnt feel rushed like most places do and was treated very well also. Great food, fresh and fast. Workers weren't friendly but weren't rude either, they were just there. Restaurant was very clean, someone always cleaning off tables after someone left.
