I have shopped here before and was always happy with their dresses and their staff. This time I was getting married. It is my second wedding (and last) and didn't want a traditional gown. My original plan was just to borrow a friends dress as she had just gotten married for a second time also, however when I was finally able to meet her and try it on it did nothing for me. Looked gorgeous on her, but terrible on me. So the next day I drove straight to Runway and started my search. They were extremely helpful pulling all different types of ivory dresses. My fiancé and I planned our whole wedding in a 7 week time span so I was on a tight schedule. I was lucky enough to find an absolutely gorgeous gown with pearls on it, with a low cut front and sheer back. It fit me perfectly other than needing a hem. I was able to take the dress home with me one week before the wedding. I got so many compliments on my dress. People couldn't stop staring at it because it's just so different. Its elegant, classy & sexy all rolled into one! Mara was a huge help in my search and helped me try quite a few on before I found "the one". Their store is beautiful with so many styles to chose from. Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going there again!! I know a few people getting married in the next year or so and have already told them to give Runway a try before they hit the Bridal stores. read more

I've been a proud customer of Runway Couture for an amazing 10 years, and once again, they have completely blown me away! Throughout the years, I've picked up a stunning array of dresses for everything from charity galas to weddings and beyond. Most of them, designed by the talented Kimberly and or Mara, has left me absolutely thrilled. Right now, we're working on a gorgeous black dress with a dramatic overlay. The brand or material is called horsehair (quite amusing name). And I simply can't wait to flaunt it! Mara has always been incredibly supportive and accommodating, and this visit was no different. I went to various Bridal shops looking for a dress for my son's wedding. Nothing of interest there - all very dated fluff especially for mothers. Someone suggested Runaway C. I went without an appointment. They were attentive informative and listened to what I had in mind. They showed me 4 options all of which could work for me. The owner quickly drew a sketch to a modification I wanted by the sleeve and neckline area. Because the wedding was too close for my dress to be modified at her shop she gave me a name to a seamstress & fabric I needed. It all turned out fabulously great. The compliments I got at the wedding were numerous and sincere. No frumpy mommy dress for me, and no slinky cocktail dress. All class, polish & finesse - based on compliments I received then and after the wedding day. I paid more then I had hoped but you can't get that unique look that's you...you and only you, from a regular bridal shop. Go for it ladies! I don't write reviews often but I have to say that Runway Couture deserves a 6 out of a 5 star review! I came into Runway for my son's wedding and I didn't know what to expect. I was greeted by Mara and from their my journey to find the perfect gown began! I was very nervous as I am not a size 6, or size 10 for that matter but with Mara's suggestions she designed the most beautiful and flattering gown I have ever worn. As mother of the groom ...I felt confident and I can say it was worth every penny ! its different to be mother of the groom and it sometimes is challenging but I felt so special in my custom gown. I was so pleased through every step. Sometimes I had to wait a while for a fitting but it was so much fun to watch all the other fittings .. it wasn't so bad. When it was my time .. it was well worth the wait...all the attention was mine then. I can't wait until my next special occasion .. hopefully my niece will be married soon and I can go back and have another custom dress by Runway Couture. I recommend them highly. read more

From the minute my daughter and I walked in Runway Couture, we were greeted warmly. The salesperson that helped my daughter and I was patient and kind. She provided many options for my daughter and assisted in our final decision. My daughter and I had such a nice time with the salesperson that we made sure to tell Kim, the owner, how kind and patient our salesperson was before we left. We felt the price was fair for the quality of the dress. My daughter is so happy she bought her prom dress at Runway Couture and can't wait for it to arrive and trust they will do a great job with the alterations. read more

What a great experience! My mother and I came here to get her mother of the bride dress and we couldn't be happier. From the helpful staff to the fabulous, unique and beautiful selection of dresses! I love that they give you an option to go completely custom and let you have a say and input on the designing of your dress every step of the way, they made this an experience I'll always remember. My daughter was a contestant in the Miss USA Pageant and Kim and her staff made her feel so comfortable! She was so excited and yet so nervous! She wanted everything to be perfect and they made sure it was! Not only did they make her an affordable and gorgeous runway dress, but they also provided her with a dress for her photo shoot as well as beautiful jewelry! They were kind, caring, went out of their way and even though we were ordinary people they made us feel on top of the world! I would highly recommend Them! I needed a dress for several upcoming weddings. On recommendation, I made an appt. to see Kim at Runway Couture. I'm not an easy fit. I walked in, told Kim what looks best on me - she reached into a rack, pulled out EXACTLY what I wanted and that was that!!! I've worn it at least four times with many more to come. Worst shopping experience ever! The owner is the rudest man I've ever met. He sent his employee to tell my daughter she could only try on one item at a time. The creepy way employees follow you...there is no returns only a 5 day exchange. They make you feel like a criminal by stalking you while you look at their cheaply-made, overpriced merchandise. The owner yelled at me in front of my daughter's when I told him I wouldn't be back. Avoid at all costs. read more
