Lifesavers in a moment of crisis!!!! I came in needing help fast, and Jeff, Lillian, and Shawn came through in a way I'll never forget. They pulled together as a team and delivered exceptional work in an impressively short time. Lillian is incredibly skilled. Her craftsmanship is impressive, and the result looked flawless. Jeff was so accommodating, going out of his way to make everything work with my timeline. And Shawn is truly the heart of the establishment. His kindness made a stressful situation feel manageable. I moved to Merrick a little over 3 years ago and needed a good tailor. I took a chance and went to Tiffany Dry Cleaners. I met LillIan and felt so lucky! I'm petite and need everything shortened. Had a last minute white party event and needed my husband's white suit to be cleaned. Good price, great results, and same day expedited service was available. It's seriously a lifesaver to have shops like this in your arsenal. Decided to leave my "high value item"down coat in their hands for refresh cleaning and it came back new. read more

Not professional at all .Clothes are never ready when they say they will be ..very disappointing experience!

THE MOST DISTURBING CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. ZERO STARS!!!! PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHED VIDEO. I am writing this review to document an incident that was not only unprofessional but deeply disturbing and unacceptable. I brought an off white satin skirt to this dry cleaner based on the positive reviews, expecting competent and careful service. The skirt had minor bronzer makeup stains that were subtle and localized. Because the fabric was delicate and labeled dry clean only, I did not feel comfortable attempting to treat it myself. That is precisely why I brought it to a professional. When I picked up the garment, the skirt now had four to five visibly obvious white or off white markings across the front and back, making it look significantly worse than when I dropped it off. It was immediately clear that some type of substance had been applied during their attempt to treat the stains, leaving residue throughout the fabric that was not present before. I calmly asked to speak with the owner or manager and showed him the skirt, asking what had happened and whether anything could be done to fix it. Instead of examining the garment or taking any accountability, he immediately became defensive and accused me of bringing the skirt in that condition, which is completely FALSE. The entire reason I brought it in was because I had not damaged it in that way and trusted a professional to handle a delicate item properly. His tone quickly escalated and became aggressive, dismissive, and confrontational. He spoke over me repeatedly, barely looked at the garment, and insisted I was lying. At no point did he attempt to offer a solution or acknowledge that the condition of the skirt had worsened under his care. The service cost approximately fifteen dollars. While the amount itself was insignificant, the principle was not. Because the garment was returned in worse condition, I requested a refund. He initially refused outright and only after further discussion returned half of the payment. At that point, the condition of the skirt was no longer my primary concern. What became far more troubling was the way this situation was handled and the deeply unprofessional, hostile, and degrading manner in which I was treated. As I was walking out of the store, this man, who I strongly believe is the owner, called me "SLUT" multiple times. When I turned back and asked him to repeat what he said, I attempted to record the interaction for my own safety and documentation. He then STRUCK my hand and knocked my phone out of my hand in an apparent attempt to prevent me from recording. The situation escalated further. I am a woman in my early thirties, five feet tall and approximately one hundred twenty pounds. This man became verbally explosive, calling me "B*TCH" and "GARBAGE." His behavior was intimidating and hostile, and his body language suggested he was struggling to restrain himself. I genuinely feared further physical escalation. Only after realizing he was being recorded did he begin yelling for me to leave the store. As shown in the attached video, he continued to verbally assault me in a physically threatening manner even after I had already exited the store. This was not because I was causing a disturbance but because his conduct had just been documented. This was not a misunderstanding or poor communication. This was hostile, abusive, and threatening behavior toward a customer who calmly raised a legitimate concern. I strongly urge anyone, especially women, to avoid this business entirely. The quality of work was poor, but far more concerning was the behavior of the man representing this establishment. His conduct was degrading, aggressive, and unsafe. No customer should ever be subjected to verbal abuse or physical intimidation. This experience was disgraceful, and I will never return. read more

I came to Tiffany's in a panic. My daughter had a sweet 16 and the dress arrived two days before the event. Tiffany's made sure to make all the alterations beautifully and in time for the party. I would highly recommend them. read more

I can't say enough good things about Tiffany's Dry Cleaners! My daughter stained her favorite sweater right before a trip, and after calling around and visiting two other cleaners, they all told me they couldn't get it done in time. Tiffany's was a little farther away, but since I was already out, I decided to give it a shot. I explained the situation to the tech, and he took a look and said, "Hold on, let me see what I can do." He brought it to the back, and less than five minutes later, he came back with the stains completely gone. I practically yelled, "How did you do that? It's a miracle!" after trying (and failing) to get the stains out myself. He just laughed and said, "You're welcome, come back anytime." When I got home, my daughter was so happy, especially since the sweater was still pretty new. Tiffany's definitely earned five stars I wish I could give more! read more

Jeff and staff were more than accommodating! They dry cleaned a suit and a stained shirt within 24 hours. The following day we had a clothing emergency, so they hemmed and pressed a suit urgently needed for my sister's wedding. Life saver! It's New Year's Eve and my son breaks his only winter jacket zipper. I came in at 9:00am and requested a replacement zipper asap. The seamstress was the best, she was kind enough to have it ready by the end of the day. She had lots of work to do but took the time out and fit my son's jacket in her already full work load of the day. She did a beautiful job and did it so pleasant and friendly. This was my first time going to Tiffany's, they are truly awesome I appreciate them and would definitely recommend to others. The jacket was perfect looked like new. Thank you again Tiffany's your seamstress is the best. Keep up the great work!! read more

Don't bother. A waste of time! Just walked in there wasn't greeted and asked the tailor for an alteration on a jacket. She told me no she's too busy and I asked so you can't do it? And she said no I don't want to. Who turns down business? Weird. I wont be back. read more

I needed a dress hemmed on short notice. The seamstress (I should have asked her her name) was supposed to leave at 5pm, but stayed until I got there, and it was the one day last week (Tues., March 14) that it snowed and was very windy. She pinned the dress up quickly. I asked for it to be ready on Saturday (March 18), and it was. I tried it on when I got home, and it was perfect. I highly recommend Tiffany's if you need alterations. Thank you for doing a great job and for having my dress done when promised! read more

Dropped off a jumpsuit for alterations. The staff was friendly and efficient. My receipt had a pickup date of Thursday and I got there on Thursday evening, only to be told I had to come back on Friday morning. I picked it up and immediately noticed a pen mark? On the front leg. I also specifically asked for each leg to be measured and altered accordingly but they were still off by a little. read more

I am on the petite side and often in need of alterations. I came to this establishment based on the Yelp reviews, yet another winner. I had 4 pairs of pants that required hemming, the price quotes was reasonable. The seamstress was sweet and efficient, the visit was quick with no wait. When I returned for the pants the hems were perfect. The experience was positive and this will be my place for alterations going forward. Staff is friendly, ample parking and reasonable prices what else can I ask for. Great establishment. read more

First time using Tiffany's. Absolutely hands-down the best customer service I've ever experienced. I walked in with a ton of expensive button-down shirts and was a little worried being it was my first time there. Jeffrey I think either the manager or the owner told me not to worry. Ask my personal cell phone. And took care of me like he was my brother. Told me it will be ready in 24 hours. I was supposed to pick it up this morning and he offered to deliver it to me. Two hours later it was delivered by an extremely polite delivery person. everything looked amazing. Best prices around. I would 100% guarantee this place read more

Nothing but good things to say about this dry cleaners .. I went in last Tuesday in a rush to get a Gown tailored for a wedding that I'll be attending in Italy this week I needed the dress to be ready for Saturday and they were able to rush it and have it all done for me .. all I can say is wow ! After reading the reviews I decided to give Tiffany's a try. After moving I wanted to find a local seamstress instead of having to travel to Astoria. Unfortunately the dress that k requested to be taken in was not done well. The owner seemed nice, but the seamstress was grumpy and didn't do a great job. Only a portion of the dress kind of fit me...but not well. I'm disappointed and will just make the drive to Astoria instead of risking another local place. read more

I had been going to Tiffany's for many years with positive results , but they recently lost my son's suit and shirt that he was to wear to a wedding that weekend. After looking for it for almost a hour, they told him to go buy a new suit and they would reimburse him. He ran to the store on his way to the wedding location and was able to purchase the same suit and shirt that they lost. When presented with the receipt they reluctantly gave him a check. But, when another customer returned the suit that they had lost shortly thereafter, they promptly cancelled the check! My son would not have needed to buy a new suit if they had not lost his! Do NOT go to this dry cleaner! They are not true to their word and may lose your clothes! read more

Our wedding date is scheduled for Sunday June 14th. My brother recommended I go here for services. He frequently gets alterations done here. The Coronavirus pandemic put a major strain on our men's wear for the wedding. My brother recommended we order suits from Macy's and bring here for alterations. I entered the location Friday June 5th. The location was neat, clean and the faces were welcoming. My party of three including my two sons were met by Jeff who greeted us super warmly from outside the business door. He walked us in and began great conversation about our visit which led him to better assist us with our needs. He remembered my sister and nephew who were previously there as well. He offered us chilled bottles of water and seated us as we spoke. Great welcome Jeff, we really appreciated that touch. All staff me ever wore protective masks as well as all patrons. Andrew was a professional tailor. He was kind, courteous and was able to make suggestions as he fitted each of us. Today we arrived to the same clean and friendly atmosphere to pick up all our Tuxedos. Jeff was there with no Andrew. Two ladies were present for operations. The offer for chilled water refreshments just as our initial entrance. Jeff has some humorous and debonaire marriage advice. He extended a sincere congratulations upon our exit. Key highlights to this business: Pros -We are extremely pleased with the quality of services for all four suits. (Myself, two sons and nephew). -Great hours of operation -Safety Adherence to our world health crisis is there -Easy to find location -Service is consistent Con- Beware when making a unturn from Eastbound Merrick. The oncoming cars make it difficult to turn onto the street before the building where parking is abundant. -great parking but make sure you turn in Thank you Jeff and Team for a memorable experience. I'm super grateful read more

Used to love this place, been coming for over 15 yrs. Recently they glue a bar code on the inside of the garments. Some, like sweaters are at the bottom and roll up exposing the bar code. They removed one which left a glue mark. When asked to do the cleaning without adding a glue label, the woman at counter said no, that's how it has to be done now. Now I'm looking for another reliable cleaner that doesn't glue labels on my clothing . read more
