I went to the most local place to my house I won't name it here. These people ripped off buttons, gave me the wrong clothes, and ruined perfectly good clothes! Now Giovanni, forget about it this guy is aces! My girlfriend brought him a ruined Hugo Boss pocket square. I'm literally never wore it. It was brand new but the last place I brought it too made my brand new very expensive white pocket square a pinkish red. Are you kidding me?! Giovanni tells my girlfriend don't worry about it, I'm going to see if I can fix it. If I can I'm not even going to charge you! That's serious I know what I'm doing and know how to get your business! And, if it's not done to your satisfaction, they do it over. For free. Formal items, such as suits and gowns are packaged in covers that allow airflow so that you do not need to remove them like the plastic sheeting that you usually get from most dry cleaners. The gowns are wrapped over cardboard dress forms to help the item hold its shape. They even offer you a bottle of water on a hot day! And how often do you get someone to come out from behind the register to carry your large armful of pressed cleaning to your car? My daughter needed a simple alteration on the side of her dress which was done but the price was over the top too much, we're talking about over a $100 too much for a simple side alteration. He also introduced me to the tailor (whose name escapes me at the moment - sorry). I picked up my gowns over the weekend and was very happy with their work. They did an exceptional job on both gowns. One gown had a terrible smell which is gone (hooray) and it also had a stain along the bottom which is also gone! I asked the tailor to remove the sleeves from the other gown, and the work was so expertly done that you cannot even tell that it had sleeves to begin with! Needed a new tailor and found Giovanni's through Yelp. I was hoping it would live up to the great reviews (I've tried a few businesses that haven't) but Giovanni's certainly did. I brought in a winter coat that had a zip on/off hood and the zipper was broken and needed to be replaced. I knew it was a big job to do and only an expert can make it look like nothing was done. Giovanni showed the coat to the tailor, gave me a price, and it was ready in 4 days. It was given back to me in a nice garment bag on a hanger and the sleeves were stuffed with paper, very classy. I dropped off a suit and a dress shirt and had it back 7 hours later and was looking sharp 9 hours later. Very friendly and clean place.
