They are absolutely FANTASTIC! My son needed to rent a tux for an annual college school event in his freshman year. Of course he told us when he came home for Thanksgiving break that he needed it before he went back to school. Not only did Esquire Tuxedos fit him with a beautiful tux, we were also able to purchase the complete tux, shirt, shoes, cummerbund, bow tie and cuff links for a VERY reasonable price. The quality was excellent. Esquire even fitted the shirt to fit my sons frame better! Unbelievably, he went home with it after the 3 day break!!! They are so professional and the customer service they provide goes beyond anything I've ever seen! read more

These guys are awesome. My son needed a suit for his communion and we settled on a tailored tuxedo because he needed each article of clothing to be a different size and/or length. The whole crew worked to help us find the right fit for everything and was so fast about it including adjusting buttons and hemming pants. Literally took minutes, not hours. Service and knowledge of these guys is amazing. The suit was high quality and absolutely gorgeous. And it didn't cost a fortune! My son was easily the most handsome kid that day. When he needs the next suit we will be back! read more

Amazing place, they did an awesome job with my sons prom tuxedo! Very nice and caring men here, made my son feel so comfortable! Can't thank you enough!!!! read more

This place was great to work with. My husband and his groomsmen rented their suits here. Mike was a pleasure to work with and really made this the easiest process we went through in wedding planning. He helped us pick the perfect suit and find a tie that coordinated perfectly with the bridesmaids dresses. They didn't charge us for my husband's rental because there were enough groomsmen renting. I highly recommend choosing this shop for suits! read more

Used esquire a couple times now and they've always been great. The sizing takes less than 15min and the employees are polite. Suits always come out fitting well and looking good. Prices aren't terrible either read more

I just had my wedding a few weeks ago and Esquire went above and beyond for us and my groomsmen. The tuxedo's were perfect and pickup and return was so seamless. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone their customer service is amazing and they are very good at what they do. They were even able to get some of our tuxedos together on short notice so really I cant tell you how amazing they are. And on top of this it was all at a very reasonable price. Please go here for any suit/tuxedo needs you will not be disappointed! read more

Great experience. Very helpful. We were looking for a tux shirt in a particular size that apparently was in short supply in a number of other places. We called, they had it and they put it aside for us. Once there, they were great. They even steamed it for us. Would recommend them to anyone looking for pros to help them with their tuxedo needs. read more

I cannot express enough how satisfied I was using Esquire. I have been in 4 previous weddings and used Men's Warehouse for all of them, all 4 weddings I had issues with my initial fittings and so did the rest of the parties. For my own wedding, I wanted to find an alternative and came across Esquire even though I live in Charlotte NC but was getting married in Farmingdale. From the moment we walked in, I could already feel that the Esquire staff would take care of me. From picking out my tux colors/style down to every detail of the groomsmen's tux, they helped along the way. I had concerns that all of my groomsmen live elsewhere but they followed some simple instructions to get measurements at a tailer near them and filled out a form provided by Esquire. They all then entered their measurements online. A few of my groomsman entered their measurements incorrectly and Esquire was proactive enough to reach out to the groomsmen to talk it through over the phone because the measurements provided didn't seem correct to Esquire. Not only did my tux fit PERFECT, all of my groomsmen's tux's fit amazing. There was one that needed to lengthen their pants a little and Esquire took care of that the day before the wedding with no issues. Their rental prices were affordable if not cheaper than some of the bigger names and the service was priceless. If I ever get married again (if my wife reads this, im joking), I would certainly be using Esquire! read more

This is the ONLY place to get a tux. I live in queens and tried some local tuxes places around here. They all were mediocre at best. Then I took the drive and went to Esquire tuxedo in Merrick. I had come here in 1991 for my prom and decided to try it out again. The customer service was awesome. I forgot the girl's name but she was helpful, funny, and knowledgeable. I can be difficult and she was patient. I told her I was looking for a black and white slim fit suit and she pointed me in the right direction. They threw in an extra shirt because it was summer and I'd be sweating (no extra charge). And they sewed buttons in the pants bc I wanted fancy suspenders. Point of all this is that nothing was a problem for them and they went out of their way to make me happy. My groomsmen came here as well and all looked amazing and were completely satisfied. Thank you Esquire! I will never go any place else for a suit ever again. I highly recommend this to anybody looking for a great tux. read more

I can't say enough about Esquire! Renting tuxes for my groomsmen and myself could not have been a more pleasant experience from start to finish. We heard horror stories about groom's not fitting in their tuxes on their wedding day and picked out place very carefully. After popping in to receive information the owner called us up and gave us personalized pricing for our winter wedding. They even had new ties coming in that worked perfectly with our color scheme. I will recommend to all my guys getting married! read more

Esquire Tuxedo was recommended to me by my best man. He had previously been in a wedding party that used Esquire Tuxedo and was very happy. I'm glad he recommended them to me because they were great! Prior to using them for my wedding I did a test trial and used them for a black tie event that I was attending as a guest. The tux was great so I decided to use them for my wedding. My wedding was on 8/17/19 and I met with the owner several times prior to work out the details. The staff was helpful and attentive. I was really happy I was able to give my business to a local shop instead of a big box store. The prices were fair and the service was good. The staff had no problem double checking measurements and made sure to answer all of my concerns. I highly recommend using Esquire Tuxedo for all your rental needs! read more

I just read through a few of the reviews and feel as if our wedding party of ten tux rentals were from an Esquire in an alternate universe. While the male staff consists of predominately inept high-schoolers, the middle age female staffer had a most unpleasant mix of dour and abject uncaring attitude. The photographs of my son's wedding were horribly effected by the ill-fitting garbage they rushed us out of this shop with. Only ONE out of Ten suites fit properly. So you may think "Well, you get the schlock you pay for" but in reality this place is grossly overpriced to the point of feeling fleeced Men's Warehouse up the road was HALF the price for the same cheap goods but with amazing and attentive customer service staff. Run away from this place. read more

5 stars aren't enough! Esquire was terrific. So friendly, excellent customer service, and the fit of tux couldn't have been better. Shout out to Tyler who got me fitted and set up to start -- he was super professional and made excellent recommendations...oh, most importantly; THEY CAN DO WOMEN'S FITTINGS...hallelujah! As a woman that dresses androgynously -- there is nothing more dreadful than an ill fitted suit, or even worse, a place that "can't do women's fittings" because they think I'm an alien or something -- regardless, that is not the case with Esquire, these guys were great! (Side note -- they fitted a men's tuxedo to my measurements, can't speak to their availability of women's tuxedos, just want that to be clear in the review...) Will definitely be back -- highly recommend, thank you guys! read more

Esquire Tuxedos helped my wife and I get tuxedos for the men in our wedding party last year (we have been very remiss in writing our reviews). They easily walked two women who know little about men's formalwear through our options and were incredibly understanding when our junior groomsman (7 years old) was very hesitant about trying on bow ties. The gentleman there allowed him to try on different things and helped him relax enough to enjoy the experience. After a terribly homophobic experience with a Men's Wearhouse in Queens, Esquire Tuxedos helped us enjoy our wedding planning again. read more

Esquire Tuxedos - Tuxedo compliments of Esquire Tuxedos, Merrick NY - Formal Wear Near Me - Merrick, New York

This is hands down the tuxedo shop to go to on Long Island. We rented 9 tuxedos for our wedding: groom, groomsmen and ring bearers (8 and 11yo). Every tux fit perfectly, no missing parts, and matched to perfection. They are a mom and pop kinda place. The owner is intimately involved in customer service and the designers are both talented and hospitable. Not much more to say. If you're planning a wedding on Long Island and need tuxedos, look no further. read more

Amazing customer service!! From his first fitting to picking up his tuxedo. He paid attention to the details of getting the perfect fit since it's very hard for my boyfriend. They made some minor adjustments to make sure the tuxedo was the perfect fit and within 15 mins, we have the tuxedo in hand. I want to thank everyone there and especially Tyler, you were so professional with such excellent service! read more

Working was Esquire was great. It was so easy for my husband, his groomsmen and the Father's to get tuxedos. My Dad lives out of state and he easily sent in his measurements and picked up the tux when they said he could. We did not have one issue with any tux and everyone looked so so handsome. Thank you so much! read more

Michael and his staff are true professionals and gave me and my groomsmen the nicest, best fitting tux I have ever had. The communication, customer service, and quality is amazing. Michael has a great personality and makes it a point to get to know his clients and create a good relationship. I visited a few tux places and this was by far the best spot. My groomsmen absolutely loved the tux and the service, and all our guests did too. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone that needs a tux. Michael had a great understanding of how I like my fit. If I need a tux again I will definitely go to Esquire! read more

If i could give more stars i would. Mike and everyone at Esquire are the epitome of professionalism and customer service. His selection of tuxedos are top notch and he is a master tailor so you know you will look your best. Not only did i use Esquire for my wedding, but two of my best friends also rented from Mike for their special day. Word of mouth goes a long way, especially when the product is amazing. In a world of corporate suits and tuxedo rental places, Esquire goes above and beyond. I would rather give my business to the local shop any day of the week, especially when the product exceeds expectations. Their prices are very fair and Mikes attention to detail goes beyond what i expected. read more

I came here to rent a tuxedo for a NYE wedding. I came about 3 weeks before the wedding and they were able to accommodate me no problem. The tuxedo was ready way before the event. Everyone here that I have dealt with have been nothing but kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I definitely will be back here and I would definitely recommend going here! Shout out to Mike the owner who has been a huge help. Don't even bother wasting your time with other chain stores, Esquire Tuxedos is the place to go! read more

My fiancé and I recently visited Esquire Tuxedos as we are getting married in August. We had visited a few places prior to this store but the energy we received from the owner instantly made us feel like we were in the right place. Michael was attentive, informative, and friendly. He knew exactly what we were looking for and was eager to help. He also had great suggestions when we were not sure about things. Getting married and making these big decisions can be stressful but we really felt comfortable with Mike. He took notes, tried to give us the best deal, and we are happy with what we ended up choosing. We will be back for more fittings and the final pick up. I plan to write an updated review then. I feel confident it will be just as good. read more

After going to several places (including big chains like men's warehouse) to find tuxedos for myself and my groomsmen, I stumbled upon Esquire Tuxedos. A good friend of mine had gone there for his wedding, so I decided to check it out. Not only were their prices fair, but the attention their staff gave to me made me feel like my business mattered to them. And this was even in the height of their busy prom season! I was so happy to work with this shop. I highly recommend their services to everyone. Keeping it local worked out so well. These guys not only made sure myself and my groomsmen looked great, but they remembered me and made sure I was all set for my big day. It was the least amount of stress I felt during my wedding planning and I am forever grateful. Thank you Esquire! read more

Looking for a wedding tuxedo? Come to Esquire Tuxedos. Michael and his team are top notch. They will take care of you and your groomsmen, even if they come from out of town. You won't get this service at Men's Wearhouse. My wedding was amazing and all of my guys looked phenomenal. It truly does help the morale when everyone feels like a million bucks that day and that's what you get here. Michael even called me after I dropped off the tuxedos to thank me again for choosing Esquire. Easiest choice I made for my wedding. Hands down. read more

Esquire Tuxedos - Formal Wear Near Me - Merrick, New York

I was recommended by a friend to use them for my wedding on 7/13/19. They were fantastic. Very simple process. They help you and your groomsmen look good. We also had my wife's father and my dad get tuxes here too for the wedding. The biggest thing that I was concerned about was having comfortable shoes and that I would be comfortable in the tux the day of. Everything fit like a glove and I couldn't have asked for anything more from them. Also, I've been in two other wedding parties that used more mainstream tux stores. I had problems and issues with both in regards to missing items and incorrect sizing. Neither of these scenarios were even a possibility when I was using Esquire Tuxedos. Thank you for everything! read more

Esquire Tuxedos was amazing with my tux rental. Cost effective, easy ordering, and easy pick up and drop off. Thanks again!

Mike is the best at what he does! I had my wedding in August and I could not be happier using Esquire for our tuxedos, truly. Tailoring is on point! Not only do they understand different body types, Mike will actually SENSE what style you desire and create that with custom adjustments. Numerous compliments were made over my Black-tie affair inspired wedding tux. He outdid himself fitting my groomsmen coming from alll over the US, including Texas, California and North Carolina. I thought the final fitting would be a horror with these guys coming into town last minute. Nope! Never broke a sweat, tuxes were ready quick and fit perfect. Esquire was easy to contact at anytime, emails or phone calls. Whatever color, shape, size or style you need, Esquire has it or will get it for you. This is one aspect of my wedding I never worried about from day 1 choosing a tux to standing front and center on my wedding day! read more

We rented tuxedos for myself (the groom) and all my groomsmen for our wedding and were very happy. Definitely recommend!

Mike & the team at Esquire are consummate professionals. From start to finish, they made sure every detail was in order. We came in with a series of photos from Pinterest showing different elements we wanted to incorporate for the groomsmen as well as myself. The result was sheer perfection! Beyond this, it was incredibly easy to work with Mike, even having an out-of-towner who did not make the initial fitting. Esquire Tuxedos are highly recommended - thanks for everything! read more

Great tuxedo selection and extremely easy to work with. They made the entire process flow smoothly, and I can not recommend them enough!

Great choices for tuxedos and shoes. Staff is excellent and they fit you and have excellent prices! Highly recommend this place!

We were married in June of 2016 and we got my tux and all 9 guys in the wedding party their tuxes here as well. The service was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. Everything we needed they had and took care of us like family. I enjoyed the tux there so much that I used them again for a black tie wedding I went to earlier this year. Everything about Esquire is top notch, the selection, the service and the product. I highly recommend and I definitely will be using Esquire for all of my tuxedo needs in the future.
