I went there to get a new pair of running shoes. Normally I would just buy at DSW or Amazon, but I decided to try a local store out and get some real advice. First off, it was bizarrely empty, on a weekend... a week before an Annual race. A nice young man asked me what I was looking for, I explained I wanted something similar to what I had on (Saucony). I explained didn't have to be that brand they just had to fit right. Guy brought out three different Saucony types. While trying these on, I started asking questions about running about how to gauge your stride length, gait, etc. He said he didn't know. OK I'll over look the fact he's wearing an EWU track and field shirt, I mean I'm buying shoes not talking to a Running specialist. I asked about comparable shoes and he said he wasn't sure. I should have bolted then and there, but didn't (I mean, I can return them right?) . I picked up the third pair and looked at the bottom of the shoe and saw they had been slightly used (maybe a quick outdoor run). Meh no big deal. So I tried them on and they fit better than the other two, still a little loose for my heal.. but I went ahead and bought them anyway.
Anyway returned the shoes for in-store credit since they don't offer refunds.
tl;dr Not very knowledgeable staff, don't carry a very good selection. Force in-store credit to retain the money you spend. read more
