I've had good experiences there in the past, but not today. The woman was condescending and basically talked me out of a sale.

Great experience. Went to Spokane from Moscow because I couldn't find decent running shoes in my…read moresize in Moscow (14 or 15, depending on the maker). Several stores didn't have any in my size and one store clearly didn't even know what motion control shoes were. Anyway, the guys there clearly know running, had several good options for me to try in 14 and even a few in 15. They encouraged me to run around outside in any of them, and were just generally friendly and helpful. The price was slightly higher (straight MSRP) than something online or at a super store, but I expected that and was glad to pay it. It certainly wasn't a crazy high price or anything. I'm sure I'll be coming back over the coming years.

They have you step on a pad to find out what type of foot you have, WHY do they have you do this???I dont know because they dont know what kind of shoe you should wear!! AND they have no shoes over 13. The shoe salesman admits, "i dont really know anything about shoes, sorry" I was not pleased. The only good thing that came out of the visit was the cashier told me to go to your store.. I called and asked if they had any size 14's. They said they did. When we walked in the door Josh greeted us. He said that after we called he pulled all of the 14's that you had. He watched my husband walk, explained why he would need a certain shoe. Had him try each shoe on with the other one and walk. He spent a lot of time with us. Made sure my husband loved how the shoe felt. If you need shoes.....go here!!!! You can even return them if you arent pleased!!

The second me and my buddy walked in on my birthday to the location at the NORTHPOINTE PLAZA, 9704…read moreN Newport Hwy, Spokane, WA 99218, the store manager named Heidi told us to leave literally the second we walked in so we asked if it was because we had frappuccinos from Starbucks as a joke she just kept saying "Get the f*** out of here" over and over probably about 10-12 times while im trying to ask "what is the problem" "why is she cussing at us and telling us we need to leave" she then tells us that " if we don't get the f*** out of here either the ambulance or police will remove us if we stay and she has to use her gun to make her point". And at this point we decided to leave. After she gave us no reason for why we could stay. And then when we call back and complain the next manager tells me her name and then tells me that it's private property and that they can do whatever they want once I tell him this story and then act like he didn't know her name when I asked for it again. So we decided to sit in the parking lot a little longer to figure out what we're going to do about this and had to go about talking to her and get us to go in there and look for shoes cuz they got a good deals and we just wanted a pair of shoes. About 30 minutes later after her customer that was in there and leaves she comes out locks the doors and goes to her car parked 3 cars from us and get in the car and no lie on everything I love she pulls out a meth pipe and starts smoking whatever is in that pipe. And not only did she pull out a pipe she pulls out a foil and a straw to her mouth she lights up whatever's on the foil. So needs to say she has a drug problem so maybe that's her problem because we never been a problem in any store and personal don't know anything about drugs other than the worst and that explains her behavior. She needed a fix and couldn't be bothered with another customer till afterwards.

I went here because my father who passed away 20 years ago loved red wing boots. I grew up poor and my dad rented a trailer for $400 in a construction yard when I was a kid. He was a plumber, but believed to in buying the best tools for the job. Every year, he would take me into a red wing store and buy himself a pair of boots for work. I think at that time they cost around $150 which was a lot of money to him. I moved into the area recently from a warmer climate spending my life mostly in sneakers and wanted to get a pair of boots for the winter. I found the salesperson who helped me (though friendly) to not be very unknowledgeable on the history and fit of the boots. Long story short I bought a pair that was slightly too small. I was never offered any guidance on how they should fit or what I would be using them for. I was just handed a box and told to try them on. I laced them up myself and at the time they felt fine with very thin socks and my feet not being warmed up. As I wore them my small toes began to rub on the outside badly...I'm in pain as I write this review.
