Every time I go in here I just get ignored. Sad really because I'm usually ready to buy. But being ignored just made me go somewhere else to buy. Sad really because as I'm walking out I got no goodbye but they all certainly know who's in first place for sales as they discuss out loud throughout the store. I loved this place when it was Sports Outlet, I came here for all my snowboarding gear from the age of 11 until now. I came in to replace all my gear that had disappeared, and what a disappointing experience. Majority of stuff was sold out, but I get it, it's the middle of the season. The kid who greeted me was not about being helpful, he just wanted to goof off with his coworker buddies about how lit their night was the night before. It's cool, I can shop for myself, but he half-acted like he wanted to show me the stuff and push product on me. When showing me anything, he pushed the most expensive stuff seemingly just because it was expensive, he couldn't really explain what made it worth the price tag, and it was every item he showed me. I eventually was able to find all the stuff I needed, and I only let myself buy a couple things, which I eventually returned, because I didn't want to give them my business anymore. It's a little heartbreaking to see a business that was my favorite place to shop for snow gear turned to...whatever that was. read more

Outstanding customer service ! My 16 yr old son accidentally threw out his $100 dollar gift card he got for Christmas . We honestly figured this was a loss but still had the receipt so gave them a call to see if they kept track at all. Amazingly they had just started a program where they did so it was not a loss and not a problem at all with the receipt for gift card purchase . Thank you so much for the great service! Staff seems friendly, but not professional. Went to get my board edged and waxed for the and ski season. Asked for the stone-grind-wax, and edging. Picked up my board and wasn't impressed with the wax job, felt they could have done a better job filling two of be the smaller areas that needed it. Took it up to Silver a week later for the first time out of the year. First day was great, but the second day my binding started coming loose. After I got home I noticed as well that one of my screws was missing on the same binding. Which is unacceptable, I won't be back, I'll spend the extra $10 and go to REI instead. read more

We had a pair of goggles that weren't working for us but had been purchased the year before and they exchanged them for a new pair no questions asked. Last years models and surplus items at reduced prices. Primarily winter sports items, skis, snowboards, boots, accessories. They also sell shoes. You can find some pretty nice items at moderate discounts. Good deals on new boots and bindings from last season lines. Would not say that there is a huge selection but a good place to stop by if you are shopping around for winter gear. The staff has always been very helpful with answering questions and providing information on the technical aspects of the equiptment. read more

These guys are great! Erik helped me with insoles for my ski boots and made the process fast and easy. I needed 3 pairs of skis adjusted for my new boots. They were 2 days out for that work, but I asked if maybe they could finish one pair by tomorrow so I could ski the next day. I bought some ski boots from them on a Thursday and went back in on Friday to see if they could make some adjustments. What I ended up doing was getting custom foot bed for my feet and boots. Then had the inserts heated up and put it all together and wore them for about 15 minutes while everything molded to my foot, ankle, and leg shape. For me this was big. My feet are 2 different lengths and 2 different widths and they both slightly curve inward. So the boots that are more reputable and higher end don't fit for me. I have suffered with the lower end, more generic, style boot because my foot shape. The employee was knowledgeable and easily conveyed the benefits of these mods. When I went out the next day it was really the first time I could keep my boots on all day. The realization that this is the comfort that most other people enjoy and this is what I've been missing this whole time. My friend said to me mid day that my form and technique improved significantly over last year and this was the first day back for the season. Long story short, get the custom foot beds and get your inserts heated and molded. It will be the best thing you can do for yourself and your skiing experience. The confidence you gain by having a solid foundation allowed me to really enjoy skiing at a higher level. Sports Outlet has really improved and upped their game. read more
