Well pretty disappointed. Took my sweet new bike out for a ride and my back brake begins to go out. Dang. Probably just needs a bleed. I call the shop and they tell me to have the shop at the bike park bleed it and they'll hook me up with store credit for the price. Cruise over to the shop and they don't have the stuff. No worries not the Bike Hubs fault. I call to let them know and they say to bring the bike back and they'll bleed em and hook me up for my time and losing out on the day. I drive the 1.5 hours to the shop and they bleed the brakes for me. Upon leaving i inquire about the reimbursement for my time and my lift ticket. I get the whole "yeah yeah we'll get back to you once we talk about it." Alright I think as I drive off. Three days later I call and am told "yeah we can do free brake bleeds for you and your services will be free". Problem is I don't live here. So I ask if they can help me get some new riding shoes with store credit. They say absolutely! I'm pumped, I make the 45 min drive in. Only one problem. The shoes they show me, that I really like, need to be ordered and I'll be long gone by then. The runner up is the same story but I'm told "they'll be here in time man, we'll give you a call". I spend another $120 because hey why not, shoes are expensive, these guys are hooking me up and I like to support local. Fast forward 2 days before I leave the area I'm told the shoes are not arriving on time. And that they can just refund me. Frustrated I say okay and I eat the cost of my lift ticket and wasted day due to their inability to make sure a $5k+ bike is ready for their customer. My initial review was spot on. They were absolute rock stars. But now that they have my money and sold me the bike it seems like I'm the last thing they're worried about. Very upsetting. I won't be coming back unfortunately. Which is a shame, I really liked the vibe and the people at the shop. read more
