The best customer service I have seen! The retail associate measured my feet length and width, asked me what kind of sports Ill use the shoes for besides the running, considered the running distance I currently do and if I need to increase it soon. Then asked me to walk in the store observing my posture and stride. Then asked me what colors I prefer. He was quite patient with me asking him to go back and forth with more pairs to try on. I got a beautiful and quite comfortable pair. I do deffinetelly recommend this place for active people that know the value of shoes with good support. read more

Just bought a new pair of running shoes last week. Staff friendly, attentive, informative and not pushy at all. They even allowed me to take a jog up the sidewalk in a few pairs. I used to think this was a great store with knowledgeable staff. I have wide feet and pronate with chronic plantar faciaitis, and they have a decent selection (4-6 options for me. They sold me one that was clearly too small. After wearing it a day, my big toe knuckle swelled creating an injury that has lasted a year and a half. Sure, they let me exchange the shoes. And I progressed through their recommended options, even in men's sizes, trying to find a toe box big enough to fit over my huge swollen toe joint. And then today, the manager wouldn't try to help me. He said, hopelessly, that I had tried everything. Well, shoe companies keep changing their shoes, and my feet have progressed through an injury, so I think it's worth revisiting a shoe that didn't work with a swollen toe. He even said that a previous favorite of mine had been changed, and is going to change again in the fall into two different models, but they have very limited stock space, so they won't carry both models. I couldn't talk him into letting me try the current offerings of shoes. He stonewalled me. I couldn't believe it. Now I don't know where I can find shoes. Apparently, not at Run with Us. read more

Love this store. Been going for about 7 years and they have always given me great service and I've always been pleased -- they have an excellent selection of choices for the trail or road. They encourage you to take the pair you are considering for a run around the block. Even after I had a pair I liked, they encouraged me to try a few other options just to be sure. Great service at this athletic shoe store! The staff all seem to know their stuff and provide helpful, patient guidance, rather than pushing particular shoes to make a sale. Adrian politely and encouragingly spent almost an hour serving me. I needed a good shoe for light hiking and walking, but my feet are wide. Must have tried on a dozen pairs of shoes. We've been there twice for running shoes and had the good fortune to work with Adrian. I expected the process to be time-consuming, but he was very quick with getting me the shoes I need. I then took my wife there and not only did he get her the proper fit in shoe, but was able to tell that there was an imbalance in the right and left foot. Great store and service for folks who want to have a good running experience and I didn't find them to be any more expensive than other shoe stores. I'll definitely be back. read more

Run With Us is an excellent store. Chepo, one of the managers, is one of the most knowledgeable human beings I have ever met. Though he doesn't have any official grad school certifications or degrees, he knows a ridiculous amount about foot and knee anatomy, and he will help you get a pair of shoes that will do you right. The store has a low employee turn over rate (from what I've seen by shopping there over the last few years), which contributes to the technical competence to be found in the store. They know more than God about pronation and such-like, and will do you right. Good costumer service, fully legit all around. read more

After coming home from college and realizing that I had to begin running again I decided that I would actually get shoes that fit and were proper for me. I did some research and decided to go with Run With Us. I must admit I was skeptical about paying $100+ on running shows. But I walked in and was thoroughly helped and asked about my running history and needs. After being observed and told about my particular profile I was fitted and let test run the shoes. It was the best decision I made. I've since joined the army and have yet to find a running store with the expertise and knowledge at this store. These guy know their running. read more

if you like night runs...you'll love training with them. very friendly and competitive. i am very young, yet i always feel like i can learn so much from the vets. i always hear stories which would ususally bore me in the past, but now always inspire me to go faster and push harder. young and old, new or experienced, all are welcome and treated with the same repsect, comraderiem and enthusiasm. they range from 2-6 miles on a really nice, curvy cousre at varying paces. best wkout for those who want to start up the week feeling good, but not overchallenged. cannot ask for a better team, nor family, (esp from a shoe store), than this. have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I've been to a number of running stores before, and have been fitted by a few people, but my fitting here was one of the best ones I've had. I actually learned something new about my feet (I knew I had high arches, but I didn't know that might have been pushing the knee pain), and all of the answers to all of my silly questions turned out great. The guy who helped me try out shoes brought me four boxes, and appeared with a fifth one when I was still wandering around with one of the original ones on my feet. They don't carry Nike, which has been my road shoe of choice for about five years now, but they carry a ton of other shoes, and I definitely didn't miss seeing them here. They also carried more than enough trail shoes to keep me entertained and happy. The guy who helped me was incredibly helpful and patient, and even helped me out with the socks afterwards. I really wish I remembered his name, because he was great. A few other people working there also approached me to ask if I needed anything when I was looking at the clothing, and everyone seemed really friendly. I came here on the recommendation of my coaches and teammates. The first time I came here, I was "helped" by a man who seemed very annoyed that I asked him for shoe recommendations. Naturally, I didn't end up purchasing from him. The second time, I came with my friend because she needed new running shoes. I decided to try some on since I was already here. I had a lady who didn't seem to care and was also very annoyed. I should have known not to comeback yesterday, since I got the SAME EXACT LADY. I don't believe she recognized me, but her attitude was even worse. When I asked her if she had different colors, she said, "Do you care about color or comfort?" in one of the snottiest voices I have ever heard. (Keep in mind that I am still a high schooler and have heard some pretty snotty voices.) She rolled her eyes as I asked her the differences between two shoes. She didn't explain the shoes she put out for me, and didn't ask me for my opinion. I ended up picking out the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 14, but of course I didn't buy them here because of her horrible attitude. I recommend coming here to find the right shoes and purchasing them online if you are also treated with utter disrespect. read more

Unfortunately I had a parking lot experience similar to Sharon C's the last time I was there. I parked my car in their "lot" and walked inside to buy one packet of chocolate Gu. Should have been a 2 minute trip at the most. Well, I grabbed my Gu and got in line. The cashier was chatting up the woman paying, so I stood patiently waiting for a good 5 minutes. Finally, he caught onto my glares and wrapped it up. Just as I'm about to hand over my Gu, another customer who had been standing at the wall by the door lazily scanning the different pictures/race mementos storms over to the cash register and yells that "whoever's black car is blocking mine needs to get their a** outside and move it because I am in a huge hurry." It was my car. I was supposed to be in and out in 2 minutes. I kindly said, "Sir, let me pay for my Gu and I will gladly move my car." I was expecting the cashier or any of the other employees to back me up, but the cashier looked at me and said I'd better just move my car. I have been a loyal customer for 6 years (even with their mediocre and awkward customer service), but I will never support Run With Us again. read more
