I was curious about this place and this serving of kebabs in rumali roti roll! Ends up its a fantastic combination and made an excellent meal. The dessert sweet moong halwa did not meet the mark for us. The service was prompt and has a drive through pickup so makes easy access and saves hassle to park. Beautifully presented with thinly sliced onions and matched with thin string fries made a pretty good option. The mint sauce is mild and takes your taste buds to a happy place! The place has a counter inside but does not support dine-in. A hole in wall place .. go ahead and give it a try if you can afford the slightly upwards $$ price point!!

    Mutton Galouti Kebab

We recently moved to Dallas and started exploring various restaurants. Since I am from Lucknow, the name Rumali attracted us to try - I can tell this one of the best places to eat mutton galouti kabab and rumali roti. On top of it, the customer service was phenomenal unlike other Indian places. Only downside is, it's quite close to freeway and it was very windy whenever anyone entered the restaurant. We will go back again soon.

Really good food, service was great. New spot different taste. The rose lemon drink is delicious and perfect with the rumali roll. Moong daal halwa tasted very good and fresh. Great lighting over nice dining experience.

Their Rumali rotis are amazing. Rest of the items were average. I haven't found Rumalis any where in Texas

Rotis are the best thing on the menu, as the name suggests. Kebabs are next, curries come in last. Too much cream in some of them.

Food was late to arrive; had fish rumali wrap. It was greasy. Place is casual and seems to be busy with pick up orders.

We absolutely loved it and could not stop from eating. Felt like as if our mom or skilled grand mom back home cook and serve us. We also ordered egg omelet spicy which was perfectly cooked with crunchy onions, green chillis and cilantro. While savoring this meal my husband was craving for yummy hot rasam and we were served piping hot pachi pulusu style rasam freshly tempered with loads of aromatics. the best for throat on a cool day. We also had salt lassi which was super refreshing and in cute cup with lids. The restaurant owner and head chef is managed by the same person whom we and folks at Ahaa referred to her as Akka (a term for elder sister in Telugu). A sweet lady who talked to us and gave recommendations. She kept checking on us often and was always attentive to our likings. Price is good and quantity is plenty. Location is inside DaysInn motel in a hall. Not something I liked but its worth it for the homely tasty fresh authentic food. Adding this to the must visit place everytime we visit Dallas.. The food was a huge hit with everyone at the workshop. The paneer biryani was perfectly spiced, the samosas were crispy and flavorful, and the mushroom pepper fry had just the right amount of kick. The naan was fresh with the mango lassi was the perfect complement to the meal. I'll definitely be ordering from Nizam's Kitchen again whenever I'm back in Dallas. I was greeted upon entering the establishment and was assisted by two of the workers. I explained that I was new to the area and not familiar with the menu. The one seemed uncertain about helping me and the other lady assisted me in choosing some items. I got the Butter Chicken, $12.99 medium, the garlic naan, $3.99, and a Pepper chicken fry, medium. The wait time was around 15 mins. The restaurant looked like it is well maintained and the bathroom looked maintained which is nice as they do reflect on any and every establishment. The dining area looked as if they set up for a buffet/family style meals, and there are about 3 tables for outdoor dining. Overall this was a pleasant experience and I'd say that the food was very pleasant in taste and appearance. As my order was ToGo, my expectations would be that the bag would have had plastic ware and napkins. This oversight was a major disappointment and a huge lacking to detail for a new patron and paying customer. I had to use the lids of the rice container as a makeshift spoon. Not very ideal and or it made for a poor dining experience. I'd not return to eat from Nizam's Kitchen 3601 Regent Boulevard Suite 140, Irving, TX, 75036

This time I went a bit all out and ordered the butter chicken momo, creamy Sichuan momo, tandoori momo, steamed momo, and the Delhi masala momo. Honestly, this visit was way better. Last time the biggest issue was the sauce, it just wasn't enough and everything felt pretty dry, but this time they really fixed that and the sauces actually showed up, which made a huge difference. Everything tasted solid overall, though it really depends on what you like since the flavors are pretty different across the menu. The momo wrappers are on the thicker side, so if you're someone who prefers a thinner skin, just keep that in mind because that was the case with all the ones I tried. My favorite ended up being the tandoori momo, even though it was a bit salty, the flavor was really good. I usually don't go for butter chicken momo, but that one surprised me, it was actually a hit and everyone at the table liked it. The Delhi masala momo was vegetarian and still packed with flavor, and the creamy Sichuan momo was also pretty good. The place was pretty busy when we went, but the service was quick, so overall this time it felt like a much better experience.

I haven't had vada pav sliders before but the filling is kind of like fried samosa filling without the dough. It's good. The serving size of the biryani was very impressive. You can see from the photo that they fill the container and then add another mound of rice on top of that - basically 2 servings (we took one home). And they didn't skimp on the chicken either! The chicken is cooked perfectly, the sauces are a great complement and this is an excellent dish. The Lunch Thali gives you a lot of bang for your buck and mine included ~5 pieces of fish fry, about the same amount of veg pakora, yogurt dip, chicken curry with rice, 2 different soups, a naan/tortilla thing, and a carrot dessert (like a halwa). All had good flavor and the soups have a nice spicy kick to them. However, since all the dishes for the thali come off the lunch line (ie all premade), the tortilla, fish and pakoras had been sitting out for awhile and not too hot. Had they come out fresh from the fryer, I might have given this experience 5 stars. As it stands, I'll probably be back for lunch anyways - and the thali is available 7 days a week!
