Love the salad bar. Always the best thing about this place. Love the homemade croutons and French dressing. Bbq ribs & salmon are great too. Definitely my favorite restaurant chain! Check it out

I like the new mac-and-cheese burger even though it looks nothing like the menu photo. Sweet potato fries are very good.

It is the reason I would consider returning but "$12-$15" for a salad where I stand in line, pay at the register, find a seat and eat from a plastic bowl with plastic utensils seems a little high for this old boy. My wife regularly pays $14 for her favorite Southern Spin Cobb Salad at Backwoods Crossing where we are waited on at table and eat with utensils and bowls that are reusable and go through the dishwasher rather than into the landfill. I have even rationalized a steak salad for myself a few times because the amount of steak was similar to what I would get with a steak and baked potato meal and the salad meant I was eating healthier. Those too were enjoyed at a restaurant where we were waited on and ate with utensils and bowls that go through the dishwasher and not the landfill. I think I paid $17 for those. Maybe somebody was having a bad day but "methinks thou doth protest too much."

First of all, this place feels like a NYC-style eatery in the best way. The artwork is beautiful,…read moreand the blue-green color scheme makes it a really nice space to sit and enjoy your food. They also offer a 5% discount if you pay in cash, which is a nice bonus. I got "The Hummer," which has turkey, feta, black olives, tomato, onion, and lettuce on rye-pumpernickel with mayonnaise and house dressing. It was so good. The bread was SUPER YUMMY and looked beautiful too (if you care about aesthetics). All the flavors blended together really well without anything overpowering, and it had this refreshing quality to it that made it stand out. I would definitely order it again. My partner got "The Sauté," which is turkey with Parmesan, Cheddar, Swiss, and a mix of sautéed onions, peppers, and mushrooms on a warm poppy seed roll, plus lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and house dressing. The roll was good and it was very flavorful but is was the combination of the veggies, turkey, and melted cheeses gave it a lot of depth. Everything tasted fresh. I got a combo with Mrs. Vickie's salt and vinegar chips, which is always a good sign. And the sweet tea--wow. It wasn't overly sweet, but what really stood out was the flavor. You could actually taste the tea, with slightly minty, earthy notes that made it feel really well done. That's rare. Overall, for what this place is, it deserves all stars. The staff was kind and helpful, the food came out quickly, and everything we had was genuinely good. P.S. There is no photos because I forgot due to it being so da** good!

Whether you are craving a fresh salad, a savory sandwich, or s comforting bowl of soup, Hopkins has what you want and at a great price, and you can be sure it will be served with outstanding service and conversation. We dined at the Market Street location which is quaint and convenient to all of your NE Tallahassee shopping. It's truly a landmark in Tallahassee. Their fresh brewed tea is the perfect top off to your meal, and don't forget to order a slice of cake too.

It was excellent lightly refreshing non alcoholic beverage that will remind you of a light wassail perfect for warmer weather. We started off with the calamari. My son got the Lomo Saltado. My wife ordered a pasta dish (I forgot to get the name of). I ordered Pescado A Lo Macho. All dishes were fantastic. Flavors were excellent. I added there house sauce to mine, because I like it spicy. I thought this dish was amazing. My wife's taste thought the pasta was a little too rich with cream, but I thought it was perfect. All of us loved the flavors of the Lomo Saltado. We finished the meal with the best Tres Leches I have ever had. It was a great atmosphere. Thank you Chef Martin for sharing your home with us. An impromptu trip to Peru is absolutely within reach, and shockingly affordable!…read more We had a last minute opportunity to go out for dinner and decided to make a reservation for Cafe de Martin because they had availability for our semi "early bird" time slot. We chose to dine on their colorful outdoor terrace, and when I tell you that we were transported to another country.... I mean, it literally took us out of Tally and dropped us in a tropical paradise. As the sun went down, the lights began to glow. The ambiance was surreal. I repeatedly told my husband I felt thousands of miles away from home. Was it the cafe lights or the Sangria? I can't be sure. The live music began and it was a whole vibe. Heads turned, ears perked up, and an entire terrace just exhaled. The sultry atmosphere was only overshadowed by the savory food. Dear Lord we ate far too much. What is that saying? Ask forgiveness not permission. Sounds about right. We started with cocktails and Fried Yucca. The Jamaican Margarita was a perfect blend with a sweet sugared rim. The Sangria was a full party in the glass with fresh fruit. The Yucca portion was hefty, but we ate it ALL. In hindsight, we should have saved more room for our actual meal. We ordered Lomo Saltado Beef that was so tender and rich, and it was accompanied by another hefty portion of indulgent carbs. See? That's where moderation in our starter would have been wise. Ahh lessons learned. If we had saved half of the Yucca for leftovers it would have reheated in an air fryer beautifully. We also ordered the Escabeche which was a beautifully fried , snapper filet served with sweet potato and rice. The sauce was simple and elegant with that classic tart vinegar bite. We looked at the dessert menu. I repeat, looked. We simply had no more room. We'll be back soon and promise to make it to the dessert menu and coffee.
