Add that on top of already high prices and you're in pretty deep. Advice: in Florida (and most states), paying mandatory gratuity charges are not actually required (or legal) and they cannot force you to pay it. If you're dissatisfied with your service, you can line out the mandatory gratuity and put in whatever you feel is appropriate. However, I've also heard that it may be legal as long as it is posted...which it was. I would have rated another star higher had it not been for the mandatory gratuity...which is the highest I've ever run into in my travels. As a single traveler, I don't feel the overall price was reasonable. So I won't be back.
